Hilco Industrial Expands Construction Equipment Support Team With Addition of Jody Bacqué

Move Enhances Hilco's Global Leadership in Construction Equipment Valuation and Liquidation

February 7, 2013 (Farmington Hills, MI)

Hilco Industrial, a world leader in industrial machinery and equipment auctions, today announced the addition of Jody Bacqué to the company's construction/yellow iron group. As Vice President of Auction Sales, Jody will be responsible for directing Hilco's entry into the construction equipment marketplace. He will develop and execute initiatives designed to enhance our visibility to companies looking to maximize their return on underutilized construction machinery.

Jody is nationally recognized as a leader in the sales and marketing of construction equipment. He has served on numerous advisory panels providing insight to major manufacturers on product innovation and improvement. Through his sales and management roles with independent equipment dealerships, Jody has gained a comprehensive understanding of product performance, valuation, and applications. He has also provided turnaround consulting to private investment interest related to ongoing dealer operations.

Current Hilco events in the construction arena include NES Rentals, a national machinery rental chain, and RaCON, a highway construction company. Hilco was recently engaged to auction machinery and equipment for Hostess and is now selling thousands of trucks from the bankrupt baking company's fleet. Hilco has also managed disposition projects for General Motors, Chrysler, Solyndra and Evergreen Solar.
