Major automotive supplier American Axle and Manufacturing (AAM) has again turned to machinery and equipment auction experts Hilco Industrial, LLC, http://www.hilcoind.com, to host a worldwide webcast auction of their used machinery and equipment, spare parts and inventory. The auction will take place over two days, November 11 & 12, 2009, at AAM's Detroit manufacturing facility and will be broadcast via the World Wide Web to hundreds of bidders.

Founded in 1994, AAM supplies various OEM manufacturers around the world in the passenger car, light truck and commercial vehicle segments. The company is a world leader in the design, engineering, testing, validation and manufacturing of driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems.

Among the machinery to be offered are automated linear laser welded blank cells, automated panel parts processing systems, lasers, rollforming lines, and several types of stamping presses. Material handling and warehouse equipment, such as cranes, forklifts and robots, will also be offered. This offering also features several million dollars worth of spare parts and inventory, including electrical, mechanical, power transmission, pneumatics, HVAC and repair and service parts.

Nearly 2000 lots will be offered, attracting bidders from many industries both locally and nationally.
