tony@newrulesofselfemployment.com Signorelli Provides Additional Delegation Guidelines for Self-Employed Professionals
STILLWATER, MN-March 28, 2011)
Anthony Signorelli, Twin Cities consultant and self-employment professional, has released a second set of tools and guidelines that enable effective delegation to virtual assistants. In his first release, he offered practical advice professionals can use when delegating project-related work. In his latest blog post on the New Rules of Self Employment website, Signorelli provides guidance on delegating process-related work in order to streamline everyday tasks and maximize efficiency.
"When you need your virtual assistant to do the same task repeatedly, like processing email, transcribing recordings, or handling your bookkeeping, you simply can't repeat the same instructions over and over again," says Signorelli. "For these kinds of tasks, you need to establish a process, defined by a clear set of rules mapped to that process."
In his blog post, Signorelli uses email processing as an example of an everyday task. He provides simple steps professionals can use to develop a rule map for their virtual assistants. With map in hand, virtual assistants can then determine the "what, how, and who" of their responsibilities: What email is coming in? How can one identify which category each email goes into? Who should respond and how? This approach is not just limited to email, however. Signorelli's guidance on mapping and rule-making can help professionals effectively delegate any number of process-related tasks.
Signorelli is the founder of the New Rules of Self Employment. He is also an entrepreneur, a consultant in sales force effectiveness and process design for major corporations, and the author of several books and articles on these subjects.
