(June 28, 2011) Human Factor International has signed an exclusive agreement for business development in the Middle East region with Hamilton Resourcing. The partnership is aimed at advancing HFI's local presence in the region and strengthening Hamilton Resourcing's talent development component of their T3 strategy, all in order to enable Chinese and other global companies doing business in the Middle East to leverage HFI's significant resources and experience in coaching Asian senior executives who are doing business across cultures. HFI Managing Director Jeffrey Jones' extensive experience working with executives in the region brings a valuable asset to senior leaders in an unfamiliar business environment.
The Middle East is a growing market for Chinese corporations across a range of industries. A recent article published by Abu Dhabi Media Company's, The National, outlines: "Declan Hegarty, the managing director for HSBC Middle East in Abu Dhabi, said Chinese companies and banks were increasingly looking to the UAE as a base to participate in the economic growth of the Gulf region. 'Links between China and the Middle East are definitely going to grow in the next few years,' he said. 'Given the nature of some of the projects coming up here on the infrastructure side, you can see Chinese contractors becoming more mainstream, as well as some of the more established industries.'"
Some with an already established presence include the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, telecom giants Huawei and ZTE, commercial/residential appliance manufacturers Midea and Haier, and computer maker Lenovo - and there is growing interest from Chinese companies in the energy sector. Together, Hamilton Resourcing and Human Factor International bring local knowledge, global business acumen, and expertise in the critical Cultural Intelligence skills that empower Chinese Expatriates working in the region to succeed.
