First there were bridal registries, now this!

If you want to put items on your Amazon wish list as a suggestion for people who buy gifts for you, go ahead. But be conservative. Don't choose expensive presents for people who are on a budget. Think about their situation. Don't go overboard and expect to receive everything on your list. Remember, these are suggestions, not orders for people.

If you know that members of your family are not doing well financially, don't put thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on your wish list.  It makes them feel bad because they can't afford any of those items, and it makes you look greedy!
