Omekongo's new song "Don't sell bodies!" is his attempt to use hip-hop to help amplify the voices of those speaking out against sex trafficking. After seeing the advocacy work of Jada Pinkett-Smith and her daughter Willow Smith, Omekongo felt that it was necessary to add his artistic voice to the cause, which is not just happening overseass, but right here in the United States.

Says Omekongo: "After seeing Jada's incredible video on sex trafficking, I visited the Don't Sell Bodies website and was truly moved by the stories I read and watched. Once I saw the work that Jada and Willow were putting in on this issue, I felt compelled to contribute. I truly wish that more hip-hop artists would use their platform to speak on issues like this. Furthermore, I wish the media would draw more attention to rap songs like this instead of focusing on the negative issues in rap music today.
