Environmental Advocate Jefferson Harman LaSala will speak this Friday at the Ramapo River Watershed Conference in Mahwah, NJ. Mr. LaSala will be speaking about the ongoing public health and environmental issues surrounding the Dupont toxic legacy in his hometown of Pompton Lakes, NJ.

Recently interviewed in The Record Newspaper's four-part in-depth series, "Toxic Secrets", about the Dupont Corporation's legacy contamination in Pompton Lakes, NJ, Jefferson Harman LaSala is a Board Member of both the Pompton Lakes Residents for Environmental Integrity (PLREI) and the Pompton Lakes Community Advisory Group (PLCAG). This past month, he appeared on The Brian Lehrer Show on WNYC Radio and spoke with NJ Governor Phil Murphy about the need for immediate state intervention in Pompton Lakes (Listen Here). He has also recently spoken with investigative reporters James O'Neill and Scott Fallon of NorthJersey.com and WNYC radio host Jami Floyd, regarding the "Toxic Secrets" series, on Midday WNYC (Listen Here). He is in his eighth year as a recurring guest on WCHE 1520 AM Radio's "Life Unedited" with host John Aberle. Jefferson is available for private consultations and public speaking engagements.
