EARTH DAY PRESENTATION BY JEFFERSON HARMAN

Pollution and climate change are two of the biggest issues now facing our planet. We have lost our balance between what we create and how it affects the world around us. Ever wonder what you can do to help the Earth? What if the answer is more than just voting, or recycling, or signing petitions, or showing up at pubic meetings? What if the Earth herself is calling us to return to her wisdom? Our problems with the environment arise from our detachment from Nature itself. Unlike other animals, we wear shoes to protect our feet. But those same shoes also separate us from making physical contact with the very soil from which we came. Want to help the Earth? In this insightful talk, Jefferson Harman will share his experience working as an environmental advocate, as well as a holistic advisor, and how these two relate. How we treat our individual bodies and how we move through our lives are deeply connected to the world around us. The answers to our deepest questions about the Earth are truly hidden within ourselves and our communities.
