Award-winning marketer to teach brand equity for online master's degree program L2M Associates, Inc. today announced that its president, Linda Popky, has been appointed an adjunct instructor in the Master's in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Program at the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University (WVU).
Popky will teach an online course in Brand Equity management, starting in October 2009. The course provides students with a fundamental understanding of how to build, measure, and manage a brand. WVU's IMC Master's program is offered exclusively online and no classroom attendance is required, enabling students to earn their degrees in this fast-growing field from anywhere in the world
"Branding is so important to the creation of successful marketing campaigns and initiatives, and it continues to evolve with the ongoing introduction of new media and technologies," said Linda Popky. "It's exciting to have this opportunity to share my insights on branding with the marketing professionals enrolled in WVU's online IMC master's degree program."
Linda Popky is a consultant, speaker, and author, with extensive experience in B2B marketing. She holds advisory positions and teaches marketing courses at San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning, and the University of California Santa Cruz Extension in Silicon Valley. Popky is president of San Francisco Bay Area-based Women in Consulting and a member of the Society for the Advancement of Consulting (SAC). She was recently named one of the top women of influence in Silicon Valley, and inducted into the Million Dollar Consultant ® Hall of Fame.
