The wildly popular 10 part series, “Making a Murderer” has captured the interest of the country.  The series chronicles the wrongful conviction of Steven Avery, his exoneration and, when he prepared to file a $36 million civil rights claim, he is arrested on murder charges.  Avery is convicted of the murder but there is grave doubt about the “evidence” in the trial.  The story is compelling and bears uncanny similarities to  how investigators and prosecutors framed Michael Goodwin in the Mickey Thompson Murders wrongful conviction of Goodwin in 2007 for which he is serving two life sentences.
