Introducing Print History
At the beginning of October, we said we?d deliver a feature for MakerBot Desktop that you?ve been asking for: the ability to reprint your favorite designs as easily as possible. Today, we?re proud to bring you Print History ? an automatic way to save printed files for fast reprinting, and one of the great new enhancements packed into MakerBot Desktop 3.3.
Download MakerBot Desktop 3.3 now.

Kiss Reslicing Goodbye
Print History is a new folder we added to the MakerBot Desktop Library tab that automatically stores any file printed from Thingiverse or your MakerBot Cloud Library on your MakerBot Replicator, MakerBot Replicator Mini, or MakerBot Replicator Z18. It may seem like a small feature, but we?re all pretty excited about it because it massively accelerates your 3D printing workflow by allowing you to quickly reprint without having to spend time reslicing your build plate layout.

All of Your Prints in One Place
When you?ve already spent time designing a file and exporting it for printing, the last thing you want to do is waste time searching for it again. That?s why we?ve organized the new Print History folder so you can quickly find all your previous prints. Each printed file in the folder updates automatically every time you print and includes the name of your file, an image of your file, and the date when the file was last printed.
Note: The Print History folder does not include prints purchased from the MakerBot Digital Store, but will include all prints saved from Thingiverse, as well as from your personal Library. Also note that Print History only works when your 3D printer is connected via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

Your Print History: Mobilized
Print History doesn?t just work on your desktop computer: files you?ve sent to your printer using the MakerBot Mobile app will also appear in your Print History folder there. And remember, once a print is underway, you can use MakerBot Mobile to receive notifications on your iPhone whenever your printer runs out of filament, requires your attention, or completes a print.
Be sure to download MakerBot Desktop version 3.3, and let us know what you think about all of our software products as we iteratively improve them to provide you a more seamless and efficient 3D printing workflow.
