On our third day at the pool at the Opal Resort in Delray, one of the servers comes over to our chairs, recites our drinks and room number. “How do you do that?” I said, since I can seldom remember what I had for lunch the day prior.
“You get to recognize and associate people with their orders,” he said, “it’s just a matter of doing the job well.”
That was refreshing enough for me to want to share it here!
