Tony Jimenez Wins Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award

MicroTech President & CEO Tony Jimenez was recognized by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce as "Executive of the Year," on June 29 at the Annual Chairman's Luncheon & Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards. Nearly 600 members of the business community, along with local elected officials and other dignitaries were in attendance for the event. The Executive Leader of the Year Award is presented to a Northern Virginia executive who is recognized for making outstanding contributions to his company and the community.

The Hispanic Committee of Virginia honored him with the 2010 Hermes Award as a community leader. And the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce named him a local "Business Legend" late last year.

Each of the Corporate Citizenship Awards honors business leadership and community service. This year's award winners included Capital One, the President of George Mason University, and the late, former chairman of DynCorp. Winners are nominated and then selected by an independent selection committee.
