Nation's Fastest Growing Solutions Provider Offers Million-Plus Tech Products, Services across Government

Leading Technology and Systems Integrator MicroTech has been selected as a Prime Vendor for the 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II (STARS II) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). STARS II has a ceiling value of $10 Billion. The innovative Federal procurement vehicle provides small businesses with the opportunity to support and achieve a broad base of Federal government Information Technology (IT) services.

The most successful 8(a) Business in the Nation, MicroTech (www.MicroTech.net) provides Systems Integration, Technology Services, Product Solutions, Unified Communications & Collaboration, Cloud Computing, and Innovation & Integration to the public sector and Fortune 500 enterprises — managing more than half-a-million tech users daily. MicroTech holds 27 procurement vehicles and is the prime contractor on more-than-100 Federal projects.

"We are thrilled to extend our strong partnership with the GSA in the award of STARS II contract, adding to our extensive list of popular procurement vehicles," said Tony Jimenez, President & CEO of MicroTech. "MicroTech has a long-standing history of success across the government solutions provider field. STARS II not only extends our capabilities, but also showcases MicroTech service delivery excellence."

The STARS II multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract features a five-year base, and one five-year option. Task orders up-to-$4 million each are allowed for Federal civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) activities. The pre-competed contract vehicle offers shortened procurement lead time and a low user-access-fee (0.75%) built into the contractor's ceiling prices.

STARS II provides a wide variety of IT solutions like Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Virtualization, Sustainability, Health IT, Cloud Computing, IPV6, VoIP, and Web 2.0 across the government.
