Dr. Timothy F. Kosinski, a Bingham Farms, Michigan, dentist is looking for 100 potential patients to be evaluated for an educational study on the use of various dental implant types.
Candidates for the study include patients who may be missing single teeth, multiple teeth, or who are wearing removable partial or complete dentures.
A no fee evaluation, including radiographs, will determine whether patients qualify as a candidate for the program. CT scans and the radiographic stent, if needed, will be charged at a reduced fee. This will allow Dr. Kosinski, when indicated, to use CT scanning software to virtually determine ideal position of the dental implants using the computer which involves incredibly exciting technology.
As a special incentive Dr. Kosinski is able to reduce his surgical and prosthetic fee for accepted candidates. ?Many of my patients could use some help paying for dental implants,? said Dr. Kosinski, ?and so I am offering $1,000 off to the first 100 implant patients who sign up for this special offer.?
Candidates for the $1,000 discount must meet specific criteria such as missing teeth, being healthy and having strong bone. The work covered by this major savings program includes the implant and abutment, the part that fits into the implant before the crown is affixed, and the final crown. With this $1,000 savings the total cost for a complete implant can be affordable. Similar savings are made for implants and denture work.
?All of the patients who have gone through this program to date are very appreciative of the service provided and of the tremendous saving," says Dr. Kosinski.
Dr. Kosinski also is offering the chance to save more than $2,000 by volunteering to be patients for a national dental implant training program. Dr. Kosinski is the only dental practice in Michigan selected to provide patients for general dentists licensed in Michigan who are being trained to provide dental implant surgery.
The program is being conducted jointly in Michigan by Dr. Kosinski and the nationally renowned Dr. Todd B. Engel and the Engel Institute (www.engelinstitute.com) Participating dentists will be trained for two days and then on the third day will perform an actual dental implant on patients who volunteer at Dr. Kosinski's SmileCreator office.
?I am looking for individuals who need a dental implant and would be interested in having the procedure done by a ?licensed dentist? under the supervision of a highly-trained Engel Institute mentoring implant dentist,? said Dr. Kosinski. ?This is a great opportunity.?
Dr. Kosinski, who has placed more than 7500 dental implants himself, will evaluate dental implant candidates to see if they meet the specific requirements to be part of the Engel Institute training surgeries, including missing back teeth, being healthy and having adequate bone to accept a dental implant.
Created in 2004 by Dr. Engel, the Engel Institute has gained national notoriety for its unique style of teaching and clinical results. The philosophy behind the instructive over-the-shoulder mentoring is to guide the attending dental practitioner, step-by-step, through the entire implant procedure with a personal coach by their side and by using an actual implant patient.
Patients who volunteer for bone grafting or implants will agree to be photographed and videotaped. ?There is no experimental work involved here at all,? Dr. Kosinski explained. ?This is all high-quality work using high-end products and the best in technology. Just because people are in financial need now does not mean they should not have the highest quality dental care possible. After all, how can you find a decent job if your teeth look bad? I am doing this to give back to my community"
Anyone interested in being evaluated for Dr. Kosinski's educational study or to qualify to be an Engel Institute patient or volunteer for a bone graft procedure should call Lorry or Jan at 248-646-8651 to schedule a no-risk evaluation.
