As the new spring term settles in, students are creating
printable flash cards for a wide range of subjects at PrintableFlashCards.net.
"You can pick any category at the site and learn a lot of new things from the flash cards that are up," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Or, if you're a student like many of our users, you can use the
flash card maker to create your own cards for study purposes."
There are 15
new flash cards under a variety of topics. Some of these include common prefixes that come from Latin and Greek, facts about Kansas, Spanish words for objects in a classroom, the effects of weathering on rocks and government terms.
There are currently 173 flash cards available at PrintableFlashCards.net. All of them are available for free as PDFs. They can be downloaded and printed from a home computer. Some of the categories are: literature, geography, language, math, science and music. People who prefer to create their own flash cards can choose to print four or six answers to a page.
There are more than 80 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free
printables sites created by
Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
