Players: Kevin Savetz
INT: KEVIN—A STRIKING MAN OF MIDDLE AGE—SITS AT HIS COMPUTER, PONDERING EXISTENCE
What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Ah, but what's in a domain name? If that name is InstantMonologues.com then it's 26 free printable monologues for actors to print, memorize, and use in auditions.
My site can provide for actors who require striking and emotional material. After all, I have monologues culled from the greats: excerpts from Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, Sophocles, Wilde and Shaw. What more could I ask for than to stand as the humble provider of timeless art?
Yet, hold, is it enough to merely repeat that which is in the public domain? Fie, I shall not! I shall include original monologues as well, ones that highlight the emotional range and talent of children, adults, and teenagers alike. Men and women shall be free to wax eloquent for 1-5 minutes, depending on the monologue. Some may find themselves drawn to the raw depths of the tragedies, and others to the fleeting humor of the comedic monologues, but all shall depart sated and prepared.
'Tis decided! All monologues at InstantMonologues.com shall be free to download and print amongst the masses, that they might nail their auditions. To quote Hamlet: "Words, words, words"…are the most important part of the play.
There are more than 90 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
