Northern Kentucky Transit Seeks PR Help

TANK

The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky is looking for a firm to help with its strategic communications, PA and community outreach effort.

TANK operates a 100-plus bus fleet that serves Kenton, Boone and Campbell Counties, and downtown Cincinnati via a transfer to Southwest Ohio Regional Transit vehicles.

It had ridership of 2M people in 2023, which was down from 3M in the pre-pandemic 2019 year.

The RFP calls for developing a strategic communications plan, and counseling TANK staff and board on special actions that need to be taken to achieve corporate initiatives.

The partner will maximize TANK’s social/earned media use to support strategic objectives.

It will also guide TANK as it crafts its post-pandemic vision by collecting data on transit-dependent populations, current/future workforce needs, housing data, and employment levels.

TANK will offer a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.
