Lucas Public Affairs, a Sacramento-based public affairs firm and subsidiary of Public Policy Holding Company, names Jessyca Sheehan and Travis Taylor as executive vice presidents. Sheehan, who leads LPA’s work in energy and climate, joined the agency in 2019. She was previously a VP at Keadjian Associates and was director and North America lead for APCO’s energy and clean tech practice. Taylor, who heads LPA’s business development team, has been with the agency since 2018. He was previously an EVP at Fineman PR and served as a senior communications advisor in the office of Hawaii’s lieutenant governor. They will now manage the firm alongside CEO Donna Lucas and president Cassandra Pye, with a focus on driving agency growth and innovation to enhance client strategy, business development and talent management. “Our corporate, nonprofit and government clients rely on us to help them navigate many of California’s toughest public policy challenges, and Jessyca and Travis have delivered time and again,” said Lucas.

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the disease, brings on USO chief development and marketing officer Brian Cowart as CDO. Before coming on board at the USO, Cowart was CDO at Disabled American Veterans, and he has also held executive marketing positions at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and CARE. In his new post, Cowart will spearhead the Alliance's development and fundraising initiatives, cultivating relationships with donors and partners to secure vital resources. The Alliance has also hired Marc Mason, who has 30 years of expertise in data strategy, intelligence, technology, and business operations, to serve as SVP of data intelligence & technology. "Their expertise in their relative fields and shared passion for our mission to eradicate colorectal cancer make them vital assets as we work to expand our impact," saud Colorectal Cancer Alliance CEO Michael Sapienza.

Agital, a digital marketing agency, promotes Sheila McAneney to division president. McAneny was one of the first five employees at Exclusive Concepts, an ecommerce-focused agency that was founded in 1997 and rebranded as Agital when it was acquired by Trinity Hunt Partners in 2023. Sheila was instrumental in scaling Exclusive Concepts into a multimillion-dollar business with over 100 employees. As Agital’s division president, she will drive revenue and end-to-end services for ecommerce clients across a variety of channels and platforms, including paid and organic search, paid social, email, SMS, marketplaces, programmatic advertising and more. She will work closely with Exclusive Concepts founder Scott Smigler, who was recently named vice chairman of Agital. “Sheila has decades of exceptional leadership experience, deep industry knowledge, and unwavering commitment to our clients and team members. Coupled with her strong business acumen, Sheila was the clear choice to lead this division forward,” said Agital CEO Jeff Reynolds.
