It's no surprise that November is a busy month in Plymouth, MA, the site of America's first Thanksgiving. If you're visiting, plan to be in town for one of the most unique parades you'll ever see: The Weekend Before Thanksgiving Parade.
Held on Saturday morning, November 18th, the celebration festivities begin at 10:30. Plymouth Massachusetts' historic waterfront – right next to Plymouth Rock!
This is one of America's only historically accurate chronological parades, visually bringing to life America's rich heritage representing each century from the 17th through the 21st. And, of course, it all ends with St. Nick.
Bring a chair, a blanket, and perhaps an umbrella – this event is rain or shine! You'll certainly enjoy watching history as it passes right before your eyes!
