Avid readers now have more than 100 printable
bookmarks and
bookplatesto choose from at the website FreePrintableBookmarks.net.
"Because the bookmarks have been so popular, I'm pleased to have added a bookplates category to FreePrintableBookmarks.net," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "There is now a wide range of designs to choose from, based on your favorite literary genre, from sci-fi to Western and everything in between."
There are 65 new designs in all, making for a total of 110 bookmarks and bookplates available for free download at FreePrintableBookmarks.net. The newest additions include gothic and vampire bookmarks and romance-themed bookmarks as well as bookplates with designs for: religious books, horror, fantasy, technology and more.
The bookplates come with six of the same design on each letter-sized sheet, or an assortment of six themed bookplates. The bookplates can be downloaded in either PDF or DOC form, and both formats are free. The DOC version is ideal for people who want to type their name and other information directly onto the bookplate before printing rather than writing it in pen.
The bookplates can be printed on regular paper, but are especially handy on adhesive "sticker" paper. The bookmarks are two-sided, and are intended to be printed on paper or cardstock and then cut out and folded in half.
While all of the bookmarks and bookplates are free to download and print individually, there is also a $7 all-in-one download that includes all 110 designs. "The premium option is ideal for schools or people with large home or office libraries," Savetz said.
There are more than 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
