A new website is making it easy for anyone to instantly create and print custom
flash cards that are ideal for students or anyone who wants to memorize facts.
PrintableFlashCards.net generates sets of flash cards based on questions and answers that people type (or cut and paste) into special fields on the site's easy-to-use
flash card maker. The cards are immediately ready to download and print in PDF form. Then, simply cut along the dotted lines and fold along the solid lines.
"With PrintableFlashCards.net, there's no need to cram cramped handwriting onto index card after index card," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "In just moments, you can make easy-to-read flash cards that say exactly what you need them to."
Each sheet contains four or six (users choose which) formatted flash cards, and there's no limit to how many can be made, all for free.
There are already dozens of flash cards up on the site, shared by users so that others can benefit from them. The cards are organized by category, and so far include topics such as states and capitals, chemical symbols, parts of a cell, animal babies, Bible verses, Spanish numerals and many more.
"This newest site in the FreePrintable.net family is especially exciting to me because it relies so much on the user community," Savetz said. "I'm looking forward to seeing what types of flash cards people come up with. So far, there are cards for little kids, biology students, film buffs and all kinds of diverse interests."
There are more than 70 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
free printables sites created by
Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
