Even more printable patent designs have been added to the new website PrintablePatents.com, and they range from decorative vintage designs to amusing representations of inventions.

"These patents are specially formatted for PrintablePatents.com and suitable for framing and gift-giving," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "There are several exclusive backgrounds in a variety of sizes, and the printed patents are a great way to add personality to your home and office."

Each of the 160 designs is free to download and print at home in 300 dots-per-inch resolution at the sizes of 5-by-7, 8 1/2-by-11 and 11-by-17 inches. Another option is a paid, premium high-resolution download of each patent with permission to print it at home or a print shop in 18x24 or 16x20 poster sizes. 

The site features drawings of home appliances, electronics, game and entertainment devices and more.

The new additions include: two styles of vintage backpacks, a fire extinguisher, a crystal microphone, a digital camera, a walkie talkie and a Gameboy console. Plus, print patents for appliances such as a sewing machine and a light bulb. The new musical instrument patents show a trumpet mute and a guitar.

There are also new entertainment patents such as a baseball glove, a billiards table and a foosball game. New transportation designs include: a bicycle, a kayak canoe, a velocipede, a motorcycle and a helicopter.

PrintablePatents.com also has funny patents, such as an authentic toilet paper patent.

Site users can choose from background variations of: blueprint, blackboard, chalkboard and parchment.

Any patent design can be downloaded as a PDF in 5x7, 8.5x11 or 11x17 inch size for printing on a home or office printer. The patents print at 300 dots per inch and are suitable for framing. The premium option offers high-resolution 18x24 or 16x20 patent poster in JPG format for just $12.99 or $9.99 each. Then, they can be printed on a large-format printer, or purchasers can have posters for themselves printed at their expense at a local print shop or elsewhere.
