Bethesda, MD and Vienna, VA – CureSearch for Children's Cancer today announces that it has partnered with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® in an effort to raise awareness and research funds for the important issue of pediatric cancer. As part of this new partnership, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will participate in cause-related marketing initiatives including Guest Ringmaster opportunities for CureSearch representatives and support for fundraising initiatives.

Ringling Bros. ® will be participating in select CureSearch Walks around the country and will create fantastic memories for thousands of families whose lives have been affected by children's cancer.

CureSearch for Children's Cancer funds and supports the lifesaving research of the Children's Oncology Group, the world's largest cooperative pediatric cancer research organization – essentially a "cancer center without walls." The CureSearch Walk celebrates and honors those whose lives have been affected by children's cancer.

Forty years ago, cure rates for children's cancer were less than 10 percent. The collaborative research of the Children's Oncology Group had improved cure rates cure rates for children's cancer at a much faster pace than any one individual or single institution could accomplish alone. Today, the overall cure rate is 78 percent. The goal of CureSearch is to achieve a100% cure rate.
