Ruth Furman, founder of ImageWords, will detail how to use websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other sites to their fullest potential during the 2012 North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) conference, Rethink Retail, held May 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
ImageWords, a Las Vegas-based PR firm, has an extensive history of working with independent retailers. With the advent of social media, the world of public relations has taken on an exciting new dynamic for businesses. As she leads the "Public Relations in the Age of Social Media" session, Furman will discuss how to use social media and traditional grassroots PR techniques effectively to promote business.
The seminar, held 10 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. May 2, in room N202 of the Las Vegas Convention Center, will take place during the National Hardware Show, held in conjunction with the NRHA conference. The theme of this year's conference, Rethink Retail, aims to help business owners reenergize their business.
