Speaker Carlton Davis, after a rave review performance to NAMI, West Los Angeles in on May 19th 2010 of his speech "Seesawing on the Bipolar Coaster" traveled to Manchester, England to speak at the INPP (International Network of Philosophy and Psychiatry) Conference on June 28th 2010. Mr. Davis represented his views on Bipolar Disorder to a lively international audience of psychologists, psychiatrists, philosophers, reporters, and users. The renowned and controversial psychiatrist Thomas Szasz also spoke at the INPP Conference
On July 23rd, Mr. Davis was a presenter at the NAMI Pennsylvania Annual Conference held in Camp Hill. He gave his "bipolar coaster speech to a packed audience, which kept him in the room well after the speech answering many provocative questions.
In late September, the bipolar bare speaker will travel to Duluth, Minnesota to speak before the MACMHP (Minnesota Associations of Community Mental Health Programs) Conference. Finally Davis will speak on October 20th to the NAMI group in Van Nuys, California. Additional speaking engagements are presently being planned for late 2010 and early 2011.
