Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
I love learning, and I’m sure that you do too as an entrepreneur, someone who’s learning regularly. Lifelong learning is something we embrace. And now with AI, there are some tools that are frankly mind boggling being used right now in many different levels. Recently, I had an opportunity to talk with a clinical assistant professor at UIUC. You may think what in the world is that? Well, that’s University Illinois Urbana Champaign. Her name is Toni Gist. Toni Gist is a wonderful lady who enjoys learning, teaches her students how to do that, and is now tapping into a great little tool, a wrist AI, like Aristotle. That’s where they get the name.

Terry Brock [00:00:43]:
Aristotle, She tapped into this and is showing us now how we can use it, how they’re using it at a university level. It’s helping the students to learn better, learn faster, learn twenty four seven whenever it’s coming for them. And you know what students are like, going anytime crazy hours all the time. And this is available to them. It’s helping them and also can help you and me. So I’m gonna give you a sneak peek into this. Now, by the way, the folks that do a wrist AI that are manufacturing and doing are a client of mine. I get a chance to work with them and see it.

Terry Brock [00:01:12]:
I wanted to share this in a special interview for you so you can see behind the scenes what’s going on, get an idea of what’s going on. So get ready for this wonderful lady, Toni Gist, who is gonna be able to help you understand how this works and what can be done with new AI technology. Get ready for a wonderful learning experience.

Toni Gist [00:01:36]:
There’s a lot of excitement right now in the field of education and learning because of AI. There’s tools out there that really give you the ability to really learn in a way that taps into the way the natural brain works. Yeah. I know it sounds kind of funny, but using technology to make sure that we can understand better is what it’s all about. And there’s a tool that’s being used now widely more and more by educational institutions around the country and around the world now using this because it gives the ability for technology to help students learn faster and learn better depending on their learning style because we know there’s different kinds of styles. It works very well with you so that you’re able to adjust it. Many universities are looking at it and studying and trying to decide, okay, which one should we go with? There’s few out there and we see one emerging quite often now over and over that people like to look at it. It is ARIST AI, kind of like Aristotle and that’s really where it gets the idea of Aristotle with AI, ARIST AI and one of the people that’s using that right now is joining us right now.

Terry Brock [00:02:39]:
She’s over in the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and she is able to talk to us about a lot of different, areas and how they’re using it right now. Her name is Toni Geist. Toni, thanks for being with us today.

Toni Gist [00:02:53]:
My pleasure. Thank you for inviting me, Terry.

Terry Brock [00:02:55]:
Toni, you have done a lot with this. I know you studied a lot of different tools out there. So you were looking at many areas out there. You decided to go with ARIST AI to be able to see what it’s like and there what What were some of the factors that you looked at and what you’re seeing in it right now?

Toni Gist [00:03:10]:
One of the things that I love about Arist AI is that it is a chatbot in my class that is trained. So So that’s one of the components of the suite of ARIST AI, but that’s the one I’m using most extensively right now. And it can, have voice input. It links you to first source materials from your class. It summarizes things, and you, as the faculty member have the ability to decide at what level you want the answer. Do you just want it to point the students towards that first source material from your course? Or do you want it to explain it in a unique way? And it can even create something that’s kind of fun. It can even create podcasts now. So I know for myself, my time is very valuable.

Toni Gist [00:03:57]:
At the end of the week, it can create this three minute podcast that tells me the most common questions. It tells that my students are asking. It even gives instructional suggestions as to how to present the material in a different way or make sure that I’m being as clear as possible with those students. It’s, it’s fantastic from an educational standpoint, from start to finish.

Terry Brock [00:04:19]:
Yeah. I can see how that would be real nice. Well, let me roll you back in time when you were looking at it. You’re first looking at there and we see that, Tony Guest is looking at thinking, okay, I’m thinking about this one, maybe some other choices. What was the thought process that you went through that made you decide, okay, I think we’re gonna go with this one?

Toni Gist [00:04:36]:
To be honest, it was that personal touch. I met Toni Gist, who is one of the brilliant minds behind it, And he’s someone who is always looking to evolve, always looking to learn from the faculty members. And so anything that I’ve asked him to do, like, oh, can we, show calculations in this way? And can I get outputs automatically sent to me? He’s like, Yes. Can I have it where there’s a help button where students can click on it and then it’ll automatically email me with a question that they have? He’s like, Sure. So he’s someone who is very responsive and I have never found that from any educational platform to date other than with Aris AI and with Toni Gist. So to me to have that individual who’s listening to you and then has the knowledge, skill, and ability to implement something new, based on your feedback is golden. And he does it quickly too, which is exciting.

Terry Brock [00:05:36]:
Yeah. That sounds important. They’re very interested as I’ve talked to them about how it’s implemented, what happens, and how to do that. Tell me about how you went about using this and implementing it as it integrated with a learning management system. I know a lot of institutional educational leaders are looking at what are we gonna do? We’re using an LMS right now, and they wanna integrate it. What process did you go through there at University of Illinois?

Toni Gist [00:05:59]:
Well, I myself, Teach about a thousand to 1,500 students per semester. So I have a large teaching team. So what I did was I asked my teaching team how they thought it would be best implemented. And then we talked with Toni Gist and he worked with us and what we landed on was that it would be embedded. So we, we create an embed code and we have it within a discussion board in the class itself. And the discussion board says, help. I have a question. And so the students can click on that and not only does it have ARIST AI, but then the students, if their question isn’t answered, they then can post on the discussion board.

Toni Gist [00:06:41]:
And I will have to say that I have not one student who has posted on the discussion board. They’ve all been engaging with ARIST AI specifically because we did want a, a two factor way for students to make sure their question was being answered. And it sounds like ARIST AI is answering their questions very effectively, right there embedded in that discussion board in the learning management system seamlessly.

Terry Brock [00:07:07]:
That sounds fantastic the way it’s doing. Well, tell us a little bit more about the specific examples. Have you thought of some students and what their experiences has been and what have they said to you and to others? What kind of feedback are you hearing about their educational experience with it?

Toni Gist [00:07:22]:
Well, I teach a class, in nutrition. Nutrition has so many myths and misconceptions. And one of the activities I have my students go through is to log into another, you know, AI software and ask a question that might be a common myth or misconception and find out what the response is. Well, many other external non trained software AI options will just pull from like blogs and other places, that may not be as reputable. And then I asked them to ask a question from ARIST AI and see what the difference is with respect to the scientific. Rigor and the students are like, oh my goodness. I didn’t realize how much misinformation is being Perpetuated with a non train chat bot. That’s drawing from information from all over the internet versus one where you’re saying, look, here are the reputable sources.

Toni Gist [00:08:20]:
Here are the things you need to look at here is what I want you to learn so that you can set up a solid foundation in this topic. And so the students are saying that their scientific literacy is going up because one of the things that I love about ARIST AI is that it actually provides links to that first source material in my class. So then they can go and explore further. And the other thing that they like is they said that it, it draws them in almost like, you know, how they get into this, like doom scrolling on their phone. Sometimes the videos will on ARIST AI, it’s almost like a deep dive into the information because they’ll ask one question. ARIST AI will answer it. And then ARIST AI says, are you curious about these other things? And then the students can click on those other things and be like, yes, I am curious about it. And I’ve seen students where they just kind of keep linking deeper and deeper into the topic and really engaging with the material that we have in a different way, rather than just a lecture video.

Toni Gist [00:09:16]:
It’s, it’s, it’s more of a conversation with their interests and pointing them to where in the class they can find that information.

Terry Brock [00:09:24]:
That sounds like it’s embracing much more natural way of learning the way that we as human beings learn. They’re doing it more. Matter of fact, I wanted to ask you a little bit more about that with the idea and the benefits of twenty four seven access and also for repetition. Hey, we know that repetition is really good at learning, but after a while, even the best of human beings get a little annoyed with the same questions over and over, but a wrist AI kinda works around that. I’d love to hear it from your perspective how you’ve seen that work in the real world with students.

Toni Gist [00:09:53]:
So with students who are engaging with Airst AI, what I’m seeing is I’m able to spend less time in the classroom doing just what you said, repeating myself, saying it three different ways. Because when I say it once some students get it, they don’t want to hear it a second time or a third time from me. What they want is they want to hear it from me in a concise, clear manner. And then if they are at home or it’s late at night, or it’s a situation where, they just want to engage with the material in a different way, they want that option too. So it allows for multiple modalities of learning to occur rather than just like, remember when I said this, let’s go over it one more time. And it allows them to not be as sick of me. When I’m providing them a video and an announcement, all these things where they feel peppered by me, It allows them to be the leader and step forward into the material in a way that they want and ask the questions they want without feeling like they might, not get a response for an hour or a day. So they can engage at 2AM and do their homework and have their own tutor pretty much, drawing only on course materials.

Toni Gist [00:11:09]:
So they know that the material will be accurate and representative of what’s expected of them to learn.

Terry Brock [00:11:15]:
Sounds like amazing benefits that are there because we’re blending in the best of human ideas of how we learn with the technology from Arista AI and what it is doing there, the kind of capabilities that it has. Well, I know also there’s an AI tutor that’s built in there to look at engagement and how students have done from the educators point of view. What are some of the advantages you see of that?

Toni Gist [00:11:37]:
Well, I, teach my in person class as well as having all these online components in addition. And so as I’m preparing for walking in that classroom and making that time with my hundreds of students as effective as possible, I go into ARIS AI and I can look at what questions have been asked to ARIS AI the past few days. And then I can assimilate those questions in a meaningful way, walk into the classroom prepared. And in fact, this past Wednesday, I walked in with, instead of doing a traditional lecture or another gamify situation, I said, we’re going to do an AMA ask me anything. And let’s start with some of the most common questions that you all asked ARIST AI and I, and I put them up on the board and then we just kind of popcorn and went back and forth. And it was this very dynamic conversation. And I always ask for feedback from my students in their attendance quiz that they turn in and the feedback I got was, wow, Now I feel like I know enough to ask even more questions. And now they say, now I feel like I can empower myself and figure out how much protein I need given my physical activity.

Toni Gist [00:12:49]:
Thank you for taking those basic questions that were asked through ARIST AI. And then we have this dynamic engaging conversation based on the student’s interests because otherwise, no offense to myself, I’m a 50 year old woman who wears readers and I think I’m hip and cool and the students really like me, but at the same time, I may have missed the mark on what I think they’re interested in. So it gives me a tap into what they want to spend time with.

Terry Brock [00:13:18]:
That’s most important. I applaud you for that because you’re listening to them, not just saying, well, I think I know what’s right as too many people do. You are saying, let me look at what they’re doing. And matter of fact, one of the things that hits me right now, I’m thinking about any metrics that you’re seeing that can measure students are doing better by 23.7% because of this or something like that. Are there any metrics that come to mind that you’ve seen regarding their use of working with the tool?

Toni Gist [00:13:42]:
I give them some autonomy, so I don’t really track the students with their questions, to be honest. That is something that I believe Arista has the capability of doing. However, I want them to feel free and open to ask whatever questions they might have, to Arista AI in that space. So what I have seen though is my, what they call ISIS scores or end of semester evaluation scores. Have been the highest they have ever been and they’ve been good. Like I’ve been recognized for my teaching in the past. So it’s not that I was an instructor who anyone was concerned about. However, I got almost perfect marks in several spaces and to have hundreds of students summatively giving their feedback and you getting marks of 4.9 out of five, four point nine, five out of five.

Toni Gist [00:14:37]:
I feel that the communication has become more effective through the introduction of artificial intelligence, because I know that some faculty are like, oh, I don’t want to do artificial intelligence. I don’t want to implement it. In fact, I want it away from my classroom, because it takes away from that human connection. Well, I I’m finding the complete opposite. I’m literally finding that allows me to more effectively communicate with my students and meet them where they’re at.

Terry Brock [00:15:06]:
Yeah. I think that’s most important. You know, we’re seeing the same thing. As odd as it seems, AI is helping us to humanize that connection more. You think, how can a machine do that? Well, it is, and it seems like, of course, we know that’s the most important. If it’s just a robot, we’re gonna reject it. But if it’s a robot that’s been trained to help us and to address those areas where we can open up, it might take me five, ten, 15 times or more to learn a given concept, whatever it might be just because in that area, that’s not my learning style. But the AI can be there to help us.

Terry Brock [00:15:36]:
It seems like that’s gonna be something that’s gonna be more with us in the future all the time as we work with it. What are your thoughts on that?

Toni Gist [00:15:43]:
I definitely think that that’s going to be the case. It has allowed me to, empower my teaching team. Also, we have drop in office hours from 9AM to 3PM through Zoom, with my teaching team where students can pop in and ask a question because we do have so many students in our class. Some of my teaching team, they need a little bit of mentoring and hand holding, because they’re, they’re still learning the topics themselves. Well, now I have empowered my team with ARIST AI. So when a student stops in the virtual tutoring center and they ask a question about, well, I’m working out three times a week and I am unsure how much protein I actually need. They can talk to the TA or that teaching assistant and the teaching assistant can be there with ARIS AI. And so collectively they can dive into that first source material by sharing the screen, showcasing what’s going on and continuing the conversation.

Toni Gist [00:16:39]:
So in reality, I’m noticing that it’s changing the dynamics with not just my students with the material, but my teaching team, as well as how we communicate holistically. So I feel like it’s streamlining those times when students do stop in those office hours, as well as allowing them more depth with those responses and giving them direct links to that first source information. Like in the lecture video at three minutes and twenty three seconds, you can learn more. Here’s where it’s at.

Terry Brock [00:17:08]:
I love it. Sounds like what you’re doing is really you’re not going either or. You’re going both and. We take the best in technology and we can remember that human caring being there with both. We wouldn’t want one without the other. We’re able to do both, and it seems like that’s where we’re going. So what I wanted you to do is we rant wind things up here. You reach out to your desk there and get that crystal ball of yours.

Terry Brock [00:17:27]:
I hope the battery will start you and rub it together real well there, and I’m gonna ask you about real long term, like, six months from now. Long term at AI would be six months or so, but tell us, what do you see happening in future developments? What kind of things do you anticipate happening? What would you really like to see happen? Boy, if I could wave a magic wand here and make this, this, and this happen, that would be it. What would some of those developments and some of those future enhancements be?

Toni Gist [00:17:54]:
I love that question. So for myself, I would love to see this technology hit the clinical sector in the field of health and nutrition. That’s where I would love to see it because there’s so much, again, misinformation out there with other AI generated responses. But if we could say, let’s say we have a group of clinical registered dieticians, and they have a really unique situation with a client and the client is presenting with this different, you know, blood work and concerns and health outcomes. And we train ARIST AI with reputable up to date scientifically based first source materials that have been peer reviewed. And then we can input the general information from that client into it. I feel that we can then give that client more tailored, directives than we otherwise would because we are human and we might be overlooking one little piece of a puzzle, but with the combination of a trained chat bot, like ARIST AI or ARIST AI suite and that human connection where we’re listening and responding, I feel that healthcare could actually benefit quite a bit.

Terry Brock [00:19:17]:
Absolutely. I think a lot of health care will come from the benefits of AI as we use it right. Like with any technology, there’s pros and cons. I often talk about, hey, airplanes are great technology. We know it is the safest form of transportation. But are there problems? Well, sure. Have people died? Yes. But we learn from that.

Terry Brock [00:19:35]:
We don’t give up because there’s a negative. We pursue it and understand where we’re going from there. So in that light of that, what would you say to that educator, that professor, someone who’s in academia that’s looking this? They want the very best for their students and they’re concerned about AI taking jobs away or hurting those students in some way or the other. What would you say to that person who’s watching this concerned about it and wondering where we’re going about AI and how that works with other technologies?

Toni Gist [00:20:03]:
I love that question Terry because there is a lot of fear associated with, embracing and implementing AI technologies And what I would say right now is the train is leaving the station. You’re either going to get on it or you’re going to be left behind that we can’t put this back in a box and pretend like it doesn’t exist. What we need to do is empower our students to use it effectively, show them the pros and the cons of using something that is trained, versus something that is untrained with regard to artificial intelligence. Let them understand that it is going to open up accessibility to a lot of other people that may otherwise not have opportunities in different jobs because they don’t have either accessible media. They’re having a hard time interfacing with the technology. I feel that artificial intelligence, especially if done properly is going to open up job opportunities and actually streamline those processes. I know myself. I’m going to be honest.

Toni Gist [00:21:04]:
I have students who email me a question and I lean into my train chat bot and I say, Hey, ARIST AI, this is what the student has a question on. Can you, author an answer for them? That has, that focuses on care and concern for their health and well-being. And it will author a short little blurb. I obviously read it. I revise it, but I know that that message is clear then. And I have now also reinforced what resources I may have forgotten that I put out there and train the, the ARIS AI with. And so I feel that, It is actually making communication more effective. I feel like it’s opening up, job opportunities for those that might not otherwise be there.

Toni Gist [00:21:47]:
And I also feel that it’s going to allow us to be much more efficient in our workspace.

Terry Brock [00:21:54]:
I love it. I would have to agree with you strongly. They were doing it the right way, carefully learning as we go, realizing, okay, this is new waters. We’re in a territory we haven’t been in before. We’re learning from that and growing. Toni, thank you so much for being with us. We really appreciate you joining us here from there at the University of Illinois.

Toni Gist [00:22:12]:
Thank you, Terry. Again, I appreciate you inviting me.

Terry Brock [00:22:15]:
And for those of you listening to this, think about the ways that you can use this, the power that is available when, as Toni says, you take the best of the Aristotle that we have, the wisdom of Aristotle blended into a wrist AI, and we take the best of human caring, how we can really help. Put those two together, not either or, put them together. And I love the way she said it as well. That it’s not just a matter of taking something here and pasting it in. Too many times we’ve heard just copy and paste. No. No. No.

Terry Brock [00:22:40]:
I like to say you wanna copy paste and then customize. Write it yourself. Let let what AI gives you be the first draft, the rough draft. And then you go in there and you ize it. Make it you. Put in your voice. Put in their feelings and experiences that you’ve had. This is the way to do it.

Terry Brock [00:22:59]:
And when we look at a wrist AI, it has the tools for this. It’s blown me away as a jaded journalist. You know, we’d sit back and go, yeah. Right. Uh-huh. Sure. But I look at this, I’m going, this is really good stuff. It’s good for learning, and it’s good for growing.

Terry Brock [00:23:14]:
Take a look at it. I’m Terry Brock. Thank you very much for joining us today.

The AI revolution isn’t coming—it’s already here, and entrepreneurs who aren’t paying attention are about to be left behind.

Trend analysis shows us that “AI Agent” is the top buzzword phrase according to Heepsy, an end-to-end creator management platform that tracks what is popular in the media. (Check out more of their great info at https://www.heepsy.com/ )

Yes, AI Agents are strong and getting stronger. Many fear that these bots will hurt people. The bots are trained on tasks that people are doing but bots can do the job faster, cheaper, and usually better.

The fear is that the bots, the AI Agents, will take jobs away from people.

Will they?

Probably.

Probably many jobs being done by people now will be done by AI Agents soon.

Did tractors take jobs away from farmers? You don’t see many farmers hitching up mules or oxen today to plough the fields.

Is that a bad thing?

Most reasonable people think it is good that farmers get more done today, produce more food per acre — and have more safety.

Tractors — machines — took jobs away from people – and the oxen.

And this makes life better for farmers who get more done with tractors than they did with oxen.

And it is better for the oxen, I heard!

This is how things work on planet Earth. Throughout our history, we have constantly worked and gone through hardship in order to make things better and easier for us now and for the future.

Does that mean there are some painful temporary displacements at times?

Absolutely!

Welcome to planet Earth. It works that way here.

Does that mean we don’t have compassion for those who lose jobs? I still painfully remember getting the notice from my boss when I was working my way through undergrad school at Goodyear Tire and Rubber company.

Conditions got worse economically and Goodyear, my employer, needed to lay off a lot of people. Since I was one of the lowest ranked employees ranked by seniority, I was laid off.

That was tough for me as a kid working his way through college and paying for it on his own.

However, it forced meto be more creative and to scramble, looking for other forms of employment, to work my way through undergrad school.

Today, I see the future is very bright when we look at the power of AI agents.

Most people would agree that it is better to send robots than people into dangerous mines or where the conditions are unsafe for human begs.

Robots can fly into areas that are in dangerous hurricanes to better track weather conditions and understand what’s going on. Humans can read that data and make decisions that save lives and property.

Machines make life better for human beings.

Carefully trained robots will be able to do tasks that are endangering and have killed human beings in the past.

And yes, some people will lose their jobs and we feel for them.

I think we need to look at results and realize that the entrepreneurial spirit gives us the strength and power to overcome any obstacle and make life better ultimately for the majority of people.

Life is even better for those oxen who used to plow our fields. ?

Here are three steps that I recommend for you and me to deal with AI agents that are increasingly becoming more powerful.

#1 – Study And Understand What Is Really Happening

Know what is going on and don’t stick your head in the sand. Don’t believe highly biased news stories of “doom and gloom” that are designed to get higher ratings over telling the truth.

Remember bad news sells more than good news.

#2 – Analyze How You Can Learn New Skills And Take Advantage Of Trends

Every time there’s change it creates new opportunities. Entrepreneurs study this and understand how their market will be affected and take steps to learn new skills and adapt accordingly.

I like to say that the United States Marines help us to learn to improvise, adapt, and overcome.

This is something we need to do continually.

#3 – Don’t Try To Do It On Your Own

Find others who are going through similar situations and learn new skills, for new, mutually beneficial, relationships. Find new opportunities rather than screaming about the doom and gloom.

Get involved with programs and groups that can help you.

Gina and I are amazed and delighted with the results we’re seeing from those in our Stark Raving Entrepreneurs program. In that program Entrepreneurs are learning what is working, what new AI tools are helping grow business, and how to implement them now.

Yep! There are many challenges and many people will lose the jobs that they currently have just like farmers lost jobs in plowing fields with oxen years ago.

Study, what is the new “tractor” that will take away the “oxen driven plowing” of each era.

How are you adapting to this? Whack that Reply button and let me know what is working for you.

How are you adapting with AI agents doing more and more?

And here is a transcript in English:

Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
Did you see what ChatGPT just released? A brand spanking new interface for graphics. Now this is far better than it has done before with Dolly three. As good as that is, a lot of good stuff, this is a breakthrough going forward and has major ramification for you and me as content creators. Matter of fact, one of the biggies, stay with me to the end of this. You’re gonna see it, where you can use ChatGPT to produce dazzling thumbnail graphics for YouTube. That’s right. I know it’s shocking, and this is amazing. But we’re gonna take a look at that, let you see what can be done, how it can work, and the kind of things are gonna happen for you on this.

Terry Brock [00:00:35]:
I’m Terry Brock. I’ve been working with computers, working with clients a lot on how they can use this, implementing it, showing people what to do. I’m gonna show you that in this video. So stay with me right through it as we go here and get a chance to see what’s available because we’re gonna take a look at chat GPT, some of the graphics, and the leap forward that we’re seeing with it. On this, we’re gonna first of all take a look at what it is. What’s going on? The kind of graphics you can expect with it? And then some specific real world use cases that you’re gonna be able to use. These graphics you’re gonna be able to use and frankly, this jaded journalist is going, hey, that’s pretty good stuff. Really nice on there.

Terry Brock [00:01:12]:
And I want to give you some cautions and warnings. Some of the real world stuff that I had to go through, I want you to see it so you don’t have to go through it again. Because as you look at it, it’s not completely perfect yet. It’s very close and it’s a huge leap forward, but it’s not perfect. If you’re sitting back going, I’m waiting for perfection. Well, welcome to planet Earth. Okay? It doesn’t work that way here all the time. As is said so many times, done is better than perfect.

Terry Brock [00:01:37]:
And I’m gonna show you exactly what I did just creator to creator. Just don’t care. It’s just the two of us here. We’re gonna talk about that, let you see what it is, how these things work, and how they fit together for a lot of different things, and basically what you can do in real world situation. And I wanna give you some of my examples, what I’ve done. And start, here’s a prompt that I put in. This is a prompt that you can use or I’d suggest take it and modify it a little bit different for what you want. Create an image of a middle aged man and a middle aged woman in business casual working on a laptop computer, and she is smiling and pointing at the computer.

Terry Brock [00:02:13]:
Okay. So that was the prompt I put in there. When we take a look at that, we go, okay. That’s kinda nice, Terry. And I’ll give you what it gave me. It took about, five minutes or so to put together. It took a little bit maybe a little bit less than five minutes or so. I didn’t sit there and stopwatch time it.

Terry Brock [00:02:28]:
But in a reasonable amount of time, it gave me a pretty good picture, and this is what it looks like. This is not bad. It’s a picture that looks pretty good. Let me make this a little bit larger for those of you catching this on video. And if you’re catching this on audio, you’ll want to take a look at it over on video on YouTube. You’ll see we’ve got it right there, an image of a middle aged man, a middle aged woman, and they’re looking, at the computer, business attire dress, working on that laptop, and she is smiling and pointing at the computer. I think this is pretty good. And the real key is as you look at that, you have to step back and think, okay, Is it usable in a professional business situation? For me, as a professional speaker, I travel and speak to groups around the world and do a lot of slides, do it.

Terry Brock [00:03:11]:
This is acceptable. It works for me. Someone might say, now the pixels are not to where they okay. Good. Maybe for your criteria, it’s not there. But for most of us, this works really well. And it put it together, made it work for me. I think it’s some very nice ways that I can use it and get a lot done with that.

Terry Brock [00:03:28]:
So that’s what it gave me and I thought, okay. That’s pretty good. Matter of fact, when I look at the capabilities it has, if I move me out of the picture here, it gave me some real nice capabilities that I can look at what is available on there, that I can generate high quality laptops there. I can edit the image with text prompts. Think about that. What you can do now is instead of having to be a master at, different tools that are out there like Photoshop or some of the other wonderful tools that we’ve used for years, Now you can do it with your text, with your voice input to say give me a picture of this and change it because you can make that different. This is a major game changer and your world has changed. For graphic designers, this is not good news.

Terry Brock [00:04:11]:
What you have been doing as graphic designers and the skill set, the knowledge you have of Photoshop and other wonderful tools is not going to be as strong when I can do it with my own words. It’s not perfect yet, so you don’t have to worry about resigning your job right now, But it’s getting there and things are changing rapidly. So I put some things in here. I think I put thought DALL E was there for a while, but this is not DALL E three. I thought it was, but it said, yeah. You’re absolutely right. DALL E three has been around since late twenty twenty three, but you’re noticing now there’s likely a newer intrant integration of Dolly three within chat g p d four. So it’s gonna be using it different, quite a different situation in working with it.

Terry Brock [00:04:50]:
And it’s gonna be in image editing, faster and more accurate results, and it’s gonna give us more consistent characters as well as higher detail and real realism. I like that. It’s giving us the kind of details we want in the real world. Marketer to marketer, content creator to content creator, this is something that’s gonna give you a lot of capabilities as never before. Then I wanted to change it to see what we can do. Now the real key on this is once you get an image on there, you can change it and add to it. This could be a picture that you upload or it could be one you create. Know those really good pictures you’ve got or good thumbnails that you’ve got? Hey.

Terry Brock [00:05:31]:
I’m leaning on what we’re gonna cover here for thumb thumbnail. How about YouTube? YouTube people who are putting this together are the creators and we’re creating those thumbnails. You can change that also. Take a classic and just change the words on it. This is where we’re getting. Let me show you what I’ve done with this. Put it together, this, and I gave it this prompt right here. This one I said, place two cups of coffee on the table conveniently accessible by both the man and the woman and redraw the entire picture.

Terry Brock [00:06:00]:
Well, look at this, what it did. I’m gonna move this under the screen here so you can see it, and it gave me this picture with the man and the woman, both of them sitting there on the at the table working on it. It’s the same picture essentially I had before but now they’ve got two cups of coffee in front of them. So now I’ve got something that I can use in a professional situation. I have added to it. Think about what we just did. With Photoshop, you could do this. Yeah.

Terry Brock [00:06:28]:
It would take a lot more work. Now I just say put two cups of coffee there, wait just a few moments, and it’s done. And again, it took me about a little less than five minutes each time I did a rendition on this. So we’re gonna wait a while. I would imagine it’ll get faster in the future. This is the way technology works. But think of the breakthrough that we have here. Now when you want to bring in an extra image or you want to do something there, you can do that.

Terry Brock [00:06:53]:
Also, this has some other ramifications. Think of the dangers and the cautions because this way somebody could put something into a picture and we know, okay. We could photoshop it and it’s not real. It’s gonna become even more abundant that someone could put an object there or they put another person there. Look. These two are talking. I thought you told me you’d never met and here you are, a picture with you talking together. Okay.

Terry Brock [00:07:15]:
Things like that can happen. We need to look at this and realize it’s a new world for the good. It has a lot of important benefits for us. On the bad side, we need to be aware of what the bad guys and bad actors might start doing, And instead, be forewarned and forearmed. And then I wanted to change again. Here’s something else that you can see that it’s gonna do. Same picture, but I made a different adjustment. Here’s the prompt I put in there.

Terry Brock [00:07:42]:
There. Now asking again, I’d like you to change the color of the man’s shirt to beige and make the woman have all black hair. I put that in and a few moments later, this is what I got. I can bring this in here on the screen so you can see it. There it is. The man with a beige shirt. The woman has all black hair. And by the way, notice it also left the coffee cups in there like they were in there before.

Terry Brock [00:08:09]:
This is nothing short of jaw dropping amazing. What you can do now with this. Now this is rolled out slowly. It was out for the pro users first, now with the plus users. It’s gonna be available for free as of this recording when I’m doing it a little bit later. So you might not have it on your computer right now. Just hang in there. Or even better, from a business point of view, consider upgrading to the $20 a month version that you have.

Terry Brock [00:08:35]:
This is something that you can get, I should say. So So this is the kind of thing you wanna look at. And I look at it from a business point of view. This is a leap forward for many reasons. The new opportunities that are there for those of us who are creating images, and we wanna edit them a little bit. As a professional speaker, I’m speaking to groups about how they can deploy AI, how they can make this work in their situation. And it might be that they’re using a particular feature or they’ve got something there. I can bring a picture into the screen, remove one thing that worked with a previous client, and now something I like to do as a journalist working with it, customize it deeply for that industry, how they can use it in practical real world situations to bring in money.

Terry Brock [00:09:17]:
Actually making money because you’re able to change your images and make them work. We are in a real beautiful situation when it’s done the right way. Oh, by the way, when I introduced this at our star craving entrepreneurs meeting just the other day, we had a question about resolution. And could you change it from, say, nineteen twenty by ten eighty to ten eighty by ten eighty or something like that, whatever you might want. And the answer is, yes, you can. And you would do that again with words. So you would say, make this a resolution of this versus that. So you could do that simply with your words.

Terry Brock [00:09:55]:
Now wonderful tools that I just love and adore like Canva have been able to do this before, but it takes a little bit of finessing, a little bit of knowledge of how to do it. And so it’s not that difficult to do it in Canva doing this specific thing, but we’re gonna see many other changes that are taking place. This is a word of warning and a word of just be aware of what’s going on. If you’ve made your living by working with Canva and other wonderful graphic tools and you know that real well, what you know might be obliterated or changed very soon by AI. So all of us need to be on alert. Sure. It’s kinda tough, but think about the person who was shoeing horses back around 1900, ’19 o ‘1. That was an important trade before that before nineteen o one.

Terry Brock [00:10:41]:
You know how to shoe a horse. You had a pretty good living ahead. And then came in these things called horseless carriages. Changed the world completely. Changed it dramatically. Now do we still have people that shoe horses even today? Yes. We do. But not anywhere near the proportion that were in employment like that before.

Terry Brock [00:11:00]:
The world changes. We’ve got to stay alert and stay in touch with what’s happening. Watch this. Now a big way that we change this, like I was saying, is looking at other features that are out there. And I think one of the most important ramification of this for us who are content creators is huge. It’s when they change the biggie. What do I mean by the biggie? Thumbnails for YouTube. Now with Chat GPT, you can start creating thumbnails.

Terry Brock [00:11:26]:
Now it’s not perfect yet. I wanna show you what I’ve done and how this can work and the kind of capabilities. First, you can start with an image upload. So what you can do is upload images. You can change those, of course. Some of those images could be a thumbnail that you’ve created that is yours that you uploaded before and worked. Now you can take that one and slightly alter it. And what I wanna do is show you what I just did.

Terry Brock [00:11:51]:
This is YouTube creator to YouTube creator or if you’re using it in other areas as well, you’ll find this has some major ramification. You can use image modification. Image modification as I move my little graphic out of the way here so you can see that and it’ll give you the ability to do a lot of different things with the graphics and the images that you have created so you can do even more. Okay. So I’m gonna take a little risk here. I’m going YouTube creator to YouTube creator. Those of you that are creating thumbnails, you’re gonna relate to this and show you some of the good, the bad, and the ugly, and just bear my soul to you so you’ll see what it is. Here is a thumbnail that I had before that I did with chat GPT talking about book summaries, language tutor, tech support, all that, it can be done.

Terry Brock [00:12:34]:
This is a graphic I’ve used before. So what I did is I uploaded that to chat GPT. Then, what I did is I went on and I took this and I said, okay. I want you to take this uploaded YouTube thumbnail. Change all the text to chat GPT leaps forward. That’s the one that you probably saw as you clicked on this because that’s the one I use. So those words I put in there. I said keep the same color background, keep the same picture, make it the perfect dimensions as required by YouTube.

Terry Brock [00:13:04]:
So by saying that, I’m setting everything up so that ChatGPT can take an existing good, has already worked in the past thumbnail, and then modify it for the future. Think of the ramifications of that. You’ll be able to take those good thumbnails that worked well in the past and use them again. Those that didn’t work as well, you could tweak those or just not use them. A lot of capabilities are there so you’re gonna be able to change this enormously. So here’s what I did. I gave it that prompt and this is what it gave back to me. This one took about five to ten minutes to generate.

Terry Brock [00:13:39]:
And notice it put in there chat GPT leaps forward. There’s the one. It’s brought in the image which looks pretty good. And then over here on the upper left. Okay. It’s got the graphic of chat GPT but it’s not quite perfect. I’m being real picky here on myself. Notice the c of chat GPT kinda cut off.

Terry Brock [00:13:57]:
Okay. I’d like to just kinda scooch that over. There’s a technical term, scooch. Now in Canva, I can do that pretty quickly. So what I could have done is I could have downloaded this, changed all the elements to be operating on their own and moved it in. Could have done that, but I wanted to stay with it and try a few more experiments. So let’s take a look at what I went through and what I ultimately ended up with. Here’s a graphic I put in there.

Terry Brock [00:14:20]:
I said this is good, but we need some alterations. One, move the chat GPT logo to the right. Enough that is all visible. As it is now, the c of chat GPT is not seen. Number two, move the picture of the person very slightly to the right so it has more space for the letters. That person, by the way, is me, of course. Three, change the letters to chat GPT graphics leap forward. Keep the same color background and same picture.

Terry Brock [00:14:44]:
Does this all make sense? So I’m typing that in there, and then chat GPT comes in and says, yes. That makes sense, etcetera. And it told me, okay. We’re gonna change it. And notice what it did. It gave me all the right commands like it was gonna do everything right. Notice how I phrased that like it was going to do everything right. Well, like doesn’t always indicate.

Terry Brock [00:15:01]:
And look what happened here. Yeah. This is the way it came in. Like in, not what I wanted yet. It chopped off my face, chopped off even more letters. The ChatGPT logo was pushed too far there. I didn’t like that at all. I didn’t like the way it put it right there, and that’s not what I wanted.

Terry Brock [00:15:18]:
So those kind of things are still happening. It’s not perfect yet. So I put in another one just changing oh, whoops. Change this. So I put in some other details. I won’t go into all the details for you. But I had it, put it in there, then it repeated back to me what it was gonna do, which sounded good. But look at this.

Terry Brock [00:15:34]:
It came in not looking good either. It’s still chopped off the last one there, which, by the way, is pretty much the same as it was. This is not acceptable. Not just okay, but we’ll run with it. No. No. No. It can’t because it cuts it off too much.

Terry Brock [00:15:48]:
So I came back and said, hey. Try it again. Come on. Let’s try it. And it came in, and it did the same thing. It gave me the same graphic all over again. So you see, get ready. It’s not perfect yet.

Terry Brock [00:16:00]:
Hey. Welcome to planet Earth. It’s not perfect here. There’s gonna be some, oh, whoops, along the way. But I was able to see what it could do, and I stayed with it. I’m glad I did, and I’ll show you why. Because when I stayed with it, I was able to get a little bit more information as I move forward with it. So I put it back in here, gave it some more prompts, gave it a little bit more touch, and look at this.

Terry Brock [00:16:20]:
This is what it ultimately came up with, a graphic that could be better. Yes. There’s a couple little tweaks here that I could use. And if I were using this with Canva, I probably would make those minor, but all important tweaks to move the graphic of myself, my face a little bit over. By the way, it touched up my graphic of my face. Maybe it made me a little bit prettier, and I could use all the help I can get. But it worked there. It was kinda nice.

Terry Brock [00:16:46]:
And I would probably have scrunched, there’s another technical term, scrunched the text down a little bit, moved it up a little bit. And I am not the world’s best graphic thumbnail creator at all. On a one to 10 scale, I’d give myself a three or a four on a good day. And so I know many of you would be much better. My whole point on this is this is done. It looks good. It’s acceptable. And it’s okay we can use that.

Terry Brock [00:17:10]:
And it gives me the ability to do something that, well, I can use. And so, you know what? That’s exactly what I did here on this. We’ve heard the phrase done is better than perfect. That’s where we are right now. So there’s a lot of capabilities that are here with this, and I would encourage you to start playing around it. See what it’s like. Notice what’s available with chat GPT as we work with it. And here’s a bonus I wanna give you that you are gonna like, something that is a massive big change in this as we go forward.

Terry Brock [00:17:41]:
Not only did they do all of these things, but also we see that what happened is as they built it forward, they made a massive text improvement. This is really big. You know how in the past we had text we put in and sometimes it wouldn’t look quite right? With Canva, there’s a way that you can grab text. That’s literally the tool they have, grab text, and it can adjust that for you. We’ll show you how to do that. You can stay through to the end. There’ll be a link you can get to watch that. Really has helped a lot of people.

Terry Brock [00:18:09]:
We’ve had many, many people say they needed that. They loved it. But we’re gonna show you what can be done now because this is in the Woah Nelly land. There’s a technical term for you. It’s giving you the ability to do some amazing things. So there’s something you wanna work with and you’ll wanna experiment with a lot. Get in there and notice that the text is much better on this, and it gives you a lot of capability. So where do we stand right now? No doubt about it.

Terry Brock [00:18:34]:
Using thumbnails is gonna be much easier now. We’re in the early stages. And as we often say with AI, it’s the worst that it will ever be right now. It’s always getting better. AI Speaker – Male [00:00:00]:
It’s never been a better time to be a content creator. You know someone who’s creating video and audio, writing text, getting pictures, and using all of that content that you’re creating to reach people, to build your business as a content creator. And in this video, I’m gonna gonna show you how you can sculpt that even better, how you can use a magic of repurposing. Yeah. That’s what I like to call it, the magic of repurposing because it gives you the ability to take what you do in one area and then put it into many others. I’m gonna give you some ideas you might not have thought of yet that are gonna save you a lot of time, a lot of effort and money probably, and also build your business. Sound like a pretty good discussion? Well, we’re gonna do it. I’m Terry Brock.

AI Speaker – Male [00:00:38]:
We’ve been working with people for many years to do that. I wanna show you right now how you can put all of that together as we talk about it here at Starkraving Entrepreneurs. In this episode, we’re gonna talk about transforming your content like clay. So you can think of yourself like one of those marvelous people, the sculptors that get together and they take that and put it into different shapes. It’s the art of repurposing for content creators and entrepreneurs. As a content creator and an entrepreneur, you’ll do it. So you’re gonna turn one piece of content into many. You’ll be able to reshape your ideas, take those ideas, put them in different shapes all around in different areas across many different platforms from, say, YouTube to Instagram to Facebook to LinkedIn, and be able to reach more people, which is really building your business.

AI Speaker – Male [00:01:26]:
That’s what it’s all about. Now in this presentation, I’m gonna show you how you can maximize your content’s value with strategic repurposing. Doing that through there. You’re gonna be able to do this. This is what we talk about, Gina Carr and I do, right here on Star Quiriving Entrepreneurs. So you’re gonna like this. Just stay through to the end because it’s gonna give you some specifics that you can use and some tools that are gonna help you to tap into it right now in ways that you can do it. But first, let’s start with the sculptor’s mindset.

AI Speaker – Male [00:01:52]:
When you think about a sculptor that’s working with clay, particularly, they get a chance to do a lot. I wanna start at the most important part, which is right down here with the base of your pyramid. The base of the pyramid you have is the audience. And this is you can look at like your gallery that you would have. Where you’re gonna put it and where you’re actually gonna have put things available. Then you have your platforms, and that’s like the canvas. Now platforms would be YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and several other social media sites. It can be your blog as well.

AI Speaker – Male [00:02:24]:
I’m using a WordPress blog and find it really great. By the way, if you haven’t been over there, bounce over to terrybrock.com and look at the blog. You’ll see there’s a lot of capabilities there, how you can do a similar kind of thing with what you’re doing. And then secondly, we look at the or next, I should say, we take a look at the content that you’re creating. Now this content is like your clay. You can shape and mold it using words. You can take those words that you say and present different messages to different audiences, So you’re satisfying their needs, helping them to get the answers they need, and really, this is a great way to build your business. And then what we do from there, once you’ve got your content and your clay, then you look at yourself as the master sculptor, the one who is a visionary creator putting all this together using the right tools.

AI Speaker – Male [00:03:12]:
I want you to think like a sculptor with your content. You wanna start with the raw material and then mold that for different platforms. In other words, what you do on Facebook might be slightly different than what you’re gonna do on LinkedIn and slightly different than on YouTube. And then you’ll use that to create experiences for your audience. So this is why it’s gonna be important. When you look at repurposing it, why would you do that? Well, there’s several good reasons. And this is something you wanna pay attention to particularly. It gives you the ability to maximize your ROI.

AI Speaker – Male [00:03:42]:
Be able to get in there and be able to say, okay, I wanna see a little bit more on that. I wanna see what’s going on in a big way. We’ll do that. You’re gonna get more value for your existing content. One piece becomes many, and your effort multiplies. See, what you’re gonna be able to do is you’re gonna be able to do a wonderful thing because getting more done with less time and less effort. You’re able to do that when you repurpose. You’re winning that way in a big way, and it’s got some multiple benefits as well.

AI Speaker – Male [00:04:10]:
Because what you’ll be able to do with this is you’re gonna be able to repurpose that content and reach new audiences. Hey. Think about that. The people who see you on YouTube might not necessarily be the same people. They’re gonna catch you on Instagram, or if you’re on TikTok, or through your blog. Different tools can express your content in different ways, and that’s really nice. And different people consume different kind of media differently. So they like some people like audio more than video, some video more than audio, and others like text more than either of them.

AI Speaker – Male [00:04:44]:
What you want is really an ideal combination. You want to meet them where they are and expand your reach that way. And then, you want to reinforce your message. Reinforce your message so that people are going to see that in some profoundly new ways and they’re going to be able to see that repetition. You see, the repetition aids retention. I remember in studying Russian in undergrad school, we would say, which means repetition is the mother of learning. So by doing that multiple exposures, they’re gonna build that familiarity. Oh, yeah.

AI Speaker – Male [00:05:20]:
I know what she’s done. I like what she did on that video. She’s got a post over here. Oh, there’s a blog post from her. I like her material. This is the way it builds. And your ideas start sticking, and you get some real good ideas that way in some powerful ways. And you’re also gonna save time because what you can do here is you can create it once and then get take it many times so you’re out there working smarter, not harder.

AI Speaker – Male [00:05:44]:
You’re gonna be able to scale your impact to be able to get a lot more done in a whole lot less time, and that’s really what it’s about. But it’s all about really creating relationships. And when you do creation of content the right way, you’re building those relationships in a beautiful way. You’re gonna be able to create those content relationships, which means your content is building connections. What happens is different formats reach different people and multiple touch points deepen the engagement. People listen to you in one format, and then they hear it again in another. And they say, hey. I like what she says.

AI Speaker – Male [00:06:19]:
I like the way he puts this together. I wanna hear more of what he’s got to say. People will do that. So you’re winning that way in a profound way with the right relationships and building them. But also, you’re building those personal relationships because what’s happening now is you’re focusing on their interest, the common interest that you have with them. Not every formal platform is gonna work for everyone. You wanna meet your audience where they are comfortable. If they’re comfortable in this environment, well, hey, then that’s good.

AI Speaker – Male [00:06:50]:
But what you’ll wanna do is be able to reach them where they are most comfortable. And by doing content the right way, you get a lot. Now here’s a step by step strategy that you can use. We’ve used this before. This is where if you wanna maybe take your pen out, pen and paper, or note taking device of choice, or just get some screenshots on this as we go through five different steps because each format is gonna activate different cognitive processes, video, audio, etcetera. The video shows personality, audio conveys emotion very well, and text provides clarity. So we’re gonna use all of those. And I like the idea of starting with video, and then use that video plus the audio engagement.

AI Speaker – Male [00:07:30]:
It’s the closest thing to actually being there in person. By using video, you get started. And then we go into audio only. And And this audio only is great when people are multitasking. So it’s really multitasking friendly. People can drive and listen. They can shop and listen. I like getting a lot of work done around the condo and listening to other audio messages.

AI Speaker – Male [00:07:52]:
It works out very well. And then from there, sometimes text only is good because you can go really in-depth in detail in a really nice way, in a way that people can skim it very rapidly. I can read text a little bit faster than I can watch a video, even if I speed the video up. I like the idea of reading that text sometimes as a great way to do it. But then also, images are available. And with images now, you have a quick visual impact. I particularly like this because today in our world, we can create the images very quickly. As example, this morning, I was writing a post that I send out every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, writing and getting prepared for another day, And I needed a picture, and I couldn’t get it.

AI Speaker – Male [00:08:34]:
I couldn’t find one in certain places. I went over to another platform, actually, went over to Google Docs. And within Google Docs using the Gemini connection in there, I created just the perfect picture that I needed. And this is really handy when you can use the visuals with that and put it all together. And then that putting it all together means what you’re gonna have is a good interactive engagement participation environment and experience. Find ways that you can engage with that with lots of the interaction, engaged participation, and people seeing it in different ways. This brings in an audience that is right there with you and learning more about what you’re doing. Now, here are some cognitive benefits that are really important.

AI Speaker – Male [00:09:17]:
You wanna make sure you know about this. With video learning, you’re gonna be able to engage visually processing the camera and the capabilities and the those centers that are out there. This gives you that ability to do quite a bit. It also conveys the body language and creates a stronger memory imprint. This way people do it. I’m particularly video oriented myself. I like to see what’s going on. I like to see, well, here’s how we’re doing it.

AI Speaker – Male [00:09:43]:
But then also, I like to learn another way with audio. Audio works really well when we want to listen to something. We can focus on the voice nuance, and you can eliminate visual distraction. Sometimes you’re not dressed just well or maybe your hair isn’t right. Hey, my hair is doing just fine today. I combed it particularly well for you. But sometimes people might say, oh, I don’t I don’t have makeup on. I don’t have this or that.

AI Speaker – Male [00:10:04]:
Whatever it is. And it’s perfect for multitasking moments. And I think people that like to learn through audio are able to do very well with that in many different ways. But then we also have the text consumption because with text, this allows self pacing. You’re able to control it, read this page, this page. Oh, I like what she said in that third paragraph there. Let me pause and think about that for a minute. You do that very well with it.

AI Speaker – Male [00:10:27]:
It enables quick scanning also, so you can go over a document very quickly and see what’s going on with that. And it makes the information easily referenceable. This is good for learning more so that people can say, alright, we’re gonna learn more about this. We’re gonna find out what’s going on and how it works, how this can happen in some specific ways that are gonna help us to learn what we can do. What you wanna do is you wanna be able to use and tap into all three of those. The visual, the auditory, and the text. The text can be a little bit of a kinesthetic thing going on there with their body because they’re turning the pages, or they’re using a stylus on a notebook that could be work out really well. So those are really important when you’re working with it, but really it’s about relationship building.

AI Speaker – Male [00:11:14]:
When you’re building relationships, this is what you’re doing by using this. You’re gonna be able to use relationships and build these in some strategic ways. You find common ground. In a relationship, when you’re selling, you know, you wanna find something you have in common with the prospect. So they might say, yeah, I like you. I like that. With content, you find areas where they have a common fit. Just as you connect through friends with shared interest, connect with audience through your preferred formats.

AI Speaker – Male [00:11:41]:
And also, you respect the differences. When you see that there’s some differences there, you don’t discuss every topic with every friend. Similarly, not all content works in the same format. You wanna make sure that you have different ways of approaching some people. Some people, you you know, you have friends. You don’t talk about this topic with them because you’re gonna get into arguments and not good. But on these topics, hey, we can talk to them. We can get along real well.

AI Speaker – Male [00:12:06]:
It works like that in many different areas with content as well. And you wanna nurture connections. Just like in real world beneficial relationships, you get together in relationship marketing, you’re gonna nurture those connections. And by doing that, you’re gonna have regular valuable interactions that build relationships. You’ll have consistent content, also builds audience loyalty. People keep hearing all the time, wow, he says some really good things about this. I like what he says about that. I wonder what he’s saying about this new topic, etcetera.

AI Speaker – Male [00:12:38]:
In a way, hey, that’s what we’re doing here. What I’m trying to do with building this content, I’ve got just my heart sharing with you, putting this together, ideas that I have. What do you think about that? And maybe I’ll be able to show you something that is available that you need to know. Matter of fact, in the contents below, wherever you’re catching this content, whether it’s on audio or video or you’re getting it on social media, by all means, let us know where you have some questions, where you can get some help from us. We love doing that. I do a lot of professional speaking. Many different audiences have been doing it for over forty years now. Talking to audiences around the world about how to use technology, now particularly AI, how you can make that happen.

AI Speaker – Male [00:13:21]:
If there’s a way that we can help you on that, hey, we’d love to do that and to make sure that you get what you need on it. Now other things that you can do here is you can adapt this over time. As you know, relationships change over time, and it’s nice to have people that you’ve been with and been able to change and develop together through the years. That’s nice. And as relationships evolve, you want your content strategy also to do that. You wanna stay responsive to their feedback. That’s really important. And going from one to many is where repurposing comes in.

AI Speaker – Male [00:13:53]:
You wanna create the core content, start with a robust comprehensive piece, and make it your best work. This becomes your foundation of what you’re going to cover and how you’re gonna do it and what’s gonna happen with it. Then you extract the key elements of it. You’re gonna identify the major points, the quotes, and the statistics. Then you look for stand alone segments, and you mark visual elements in there as you’re working with it. Really important. And then adapt for the platforms. Make sure that you transform and fit your platform to the requirements that are there.

AI Speaker – Male [00:14:26]:
Optimize this for each audience as it develops its own tune and the way that it puts everything together. And then schedule this strategically. What you’ll wanna do is you wanna make sure that as you schedule it, you’re doing it in a way that’s gonna help people so that you stagger your release your releases that you have, and you create a content calendar and maintain the consistent presence. So one of the things that we do a lot now using a tool that’s really wonderful out there called Taja. It gives us the ability to create some content and then it repurposes it into several different clips. Then we take those clips and we can put that next Tuesday at 03:00 would be good. And then for next Wednesday, let’s put it at 04:00. Yeah.

AI Speaker – Male [00:15:09]:
And you do that based on what the algorithms are saying and your own history and experience. But you can do that with a tool like Taja. That’s taja@taja.ai. And by the way, if you get that, use our affiliate code, which we’ve got available for you. You’ll be able to use that, and then you get extra help and training on that too. But Talage is a great little tool for that, and it helps things move much better and much faster in several different ways. But now here’s where it gets even more fun, because you could take this video and go all over the place with it. The video gives you the ability to reach many different people in different ways.

AI Speaker – Male [00:15:45]:
Like for instance, with YouTube video, you start with a complete video, and then you can make it comprehensive and cover your topic thoroughly. Once you’ve done that, you can pull an audio podcast out of it and extract the audio track, add a custom intro, and distribute it to the podcast platforms where you wanna go. We’re using Libsyn right now, l I b s y n, and I love it. I’ve been with them for a few years, and they consistently provide real quality service, reliable, and great support. When I need help, somebody seems to be there right off the bat. So I’d recommend take a look at what they’ve got for that. And then for a blog post, we’re using WordPress, and this is where you can transcribe and edit for readability. You can take the transcript, put that directly into your blog.

AI Speaker – Male [00:16:30]:
I’d recommend that you take it, change it up just a little bit. It’s gonna be right for your audience, and then put in some images and then optimize it for SEO. So what you’ll wanna do is use that and then use some social clips as well so that you have some ideas of being able to cut in. Whoops. I just paused there for a moment. I’m gonna go back through. Hey. Keeping it real here.

AI Speaker – Male [00:16:48]:
We’re going through here on this slide. You wanna put in the social clips and then cut to your short highlights and the captions, and then share them across the platform. So you can do that and be able to connect with people in a big way. So what I’m doing here is it’s just you and me here together. And when we have some mistakes or something, we work together, and that’s part of the content. That’s part of saying, here we are. We wanna be there for you and give you the information you need when you need it in a good way. So think about that plan there, what you can do.

AI Speaker – Male [00:17:19]:
You can go into video all over the place and getting your message out to the people that are gonna need it in a time that they need it very well. And then, update your evergreen content. This one is a gold mine because you can take information that you did a few years ago and update it. I have clients we’re working with. They have really good content, and they talked about audio cassettes when they were popular and needed. Well, now they can redo that. And instead of saying audio cassettes, say things like, well, we used to use audio cassette, but now we’re using m p threes, and we’re using this with that platform that’s giving us the audio capability. Spotify is working for us or whatever it might be.

AI Speaker – Male [00:18:00]:
So make sure you stay on top of that. You wanna make sure you add sections on the new tools like AI and show modern applications. Reference the current platforms that are out there and realize we’ve had changed perspectives. Sometimes, you change your mind. I know I have. I’ve thought one thing at one time in my life and then I changed. So what you wanna do is you wanna explain the journey. Show your growth and learning.

AI Speaker – Male [00:18:23]:
Why is it that you wanted this before, but now, hey, hey, you want something just a little bit different? Then in addition to that, give us some fresh samples. Show us some things that are available now that we didn’t have before. Things that you can say, okay, this is a little bit different. Things in the world today are different than they were, and so what we’ve got to do is use new data and incorporate the recent statistics. Update your research findings and strengthen your arguments so that you’re always able to stay up to date with what’s going on. In the work that I’ve done speaking around the world, I’ve had the option to work with many millionaires and a few billionaires as well. And when I do, I find some core elements that run through the lives of these people who have done very well financially. And one of those things is they like to build by inviting meaningful connections.

AI Speaker – Male [00:19:11]:
What they’re doing is they’re creating valuable content relationships, and they start conversations working with people to help make them feel better and to solve their problems. They also nurture these relationships, maintaining regular contact and providing ongoing value. They’re listening to the feedback that people give them in a big way, and they leverage. This is really important. You wanna be sure that you can leverage and activate your network when needed. Cross promote the content and collaborate with peers. Matter of fact, it was interesting. Today, we were talking with some people that have asked to work with us.

AI Speaker – Male [00:19:48]:
We’re gonna be doing some work with AI that they’re doing, people that are designing that, doing it in a lot of different areas. And Gina was on the call with me. We were talking about it, and we we talked about some people that she knew that one person, for instance, was in her class there at Harvard and is now the chancellor of all the universities in the entire state, in this one state they were talking about. And so she’s looking at that and say, hey, we can make a connection here with them, because she knew this person. She’s working on the committee, staying in touch with the Harvard community that she has, and able to tie them together. I think that’s a wonderful thing. Think about ways that you can do that and how you can take different people and make life better for them in many, many different ways. And then, also, you wanna celebrate.

AI Speaker – Male [00:20:30]:
By celebrate, you wanna acknowledge milestones together where you share successes and express gratitude. This is important. On important events in life, it’s important for you to be at those important places. Did you notice my emphasis there? Make sure that you’re there for people when they need you. I remember years ago, Harvey Mckay was talking about it’s very important when people go through weddings and funerals. When you can be there, make sure you do that. People remember that. They remember who was there at the wedding.

AI Speaker – Male [00:21:01]:
There’s a lot of pictures. There’s also at the funerals. There’ll be pictures there too. But also more than anything, they know that you were there for them, helping in that time of need. And then continue reshaping the content clay that you have. You wanna make sure that what you’re doing is you’re bringing that about. Take your raw material, your original content, it holds untapped potential. It contains core ideas and think of it as your unformed clay.

AI Speaker – Male [00:21:27]:
So when you got that original idea, use that and start working with it. Then do some skillful shaping. Shaping so that you can see how you’re gonna apply your expertise to transform it. You want to be able to focus on the needs that your audience has and adapt for different contexts. And then, you want to multiply, have multiple masterpieces, so that you can just can create distinct but related works and each serves a different purpose. They serve are serving different purposes and you reflect your core message with that. So this is how you can do it in a profoundly important way. Taking that content that you have and creating help for other people in multiple ways.

AI Speaker – Male [00:22:11]:
Also, with success creation, what you want to do is you want to show one video and make many assets. You start with, for instance, a ten minute YouTube video. Then have some deep topic exploration of how to use this. Then from there, you can get, for instance, five short social clips. With the service we’re using, I mentioned Taja, using that, we’re able to get sometimes two or three or five. I’ve seen up to 14 different clips that we get with it, which are really nice. YouTube shorts that are purpose. And it’s doing it through the AI that knows what people are looking for.

AI Speaker – Male [00:22:48]:
And also, look for your key points and the highlights. Find those that are in your content that you have and how people will be able to use that. And you might be able to get a good podcast episode. Sure, you can get one out of that with a good episode and have that on the go consumption where people can listen to it when they’re out there moving around. Also, don’t forget the benefit of quote graphics that you might get. You might get three of those or so. What you would do is you’d go back to the audio interview, the video interview, and think about where your special guest said something that was just golden. I mean, she was right on target when she said that.

AI Speaker – Male [00:23:25]:
With a tool like Cast Magic, you can go in there and click from this level here, say at two minutes thirty five seconds, all the way through four minutes and thirteen seconds. You get that chunk. You can make it a video by itself, and you can make that a quote. So you might have just one quote you can put on the screen. Cast magic gives you the ability to do that as well in some really nice ways. So think about ways you can use that tool that’s out there and get even more done in a bigger way. And you can make a whole detailed blog post. And I would say even more than one is possible.

AI Speaker – Male [00:23:58]:
Make sure that it’s SEO optimized in content, and you can do that very easily, letting the AI tools do that. Taja, Cast Magic, and many others will do that for you as well. And then share your experiences. Share the challenges that you have. We wanna hear from you. Let us know in the feedback here, wherever you’re getting this, about what it’s like, what content struggles you’re having. Tell us, what specific needs you might have, and what we can do is customize training that we’re gonna have in the future to help you out on that. And if you got some topics, go ahead and request those.

AI Speaker – Male [00:24:31]:
Let’s see what we can do to help you. We want you to tell us about your areas of focus and about the specific platforms you’re using and look for familiar techniques. And then let us know your goals. What can we do to help you as you share what success looks like? Let us know what it’s gonna be for you. And then tell us your business objectives. Are you trying to reach that? In the feedback, let us know so we can help you on that in some profound good ways. Want you to start repurposing right now, a repurposing journey, where you’re gonna repurpose something because it’s not just a good idea. Many today are calling it a strategic imperative.

AI Speaker – Male [00:25:08]:
Done the right way, it bonds you with your audience and builds your audience as well. It’s gonna help your audience to know more about you, tie in there with what you’re doing, and how you’re going to be able to help them. This is something that, frankly, I’m really excited about. We see what’s possible, and there’s some other ways you could do it. Matter of fact, I got something for you here that’s gonna help. We’ve got something that is available for you called aitoolsforbiz.com. You’re getting this on audio, that’s all lowercase, aitools, the number four, b I z dot com. You’re gonna learn about some tools like ChatGPT with updates, Canva, Dolly three.

AI Speaker – Male [00:25:49]:
We talk about Yudly, a great tool for becoming a better speaker and conducting better interviews. Also, other tools that are out there in many ways. You’re gonna get those. And by the way, one of the most important things about this, we update it. So that as new tools come out, because you’re having that, it’s not just a one time resource that you get. It’s gonna be updated regularly, so you’ll be able to get it in several different ways. If you’re catching this on video, you’ve got a QR code there that’s available for you. You can get that.

AI Speaker – Male [00:26:18]:
And what we’ll do is we’ll make that available so that you can see it in some different ways. Matter of fact, right here we got it a little bit bigger. That QR code is available. And by the way, if you’re catching this on audio only, you might wanna bounce over to YouTube and see it again because it’ll give you a different perspective with some of the graphics that are available. So lots of good there, and we’re looking forward to hearing from you. We’ve got some other videos available. They’re gonna help you. We’ve carefully selected to help you do this in a big way.

AI Speaker – Male [00:26:43]:
I’m Terry Brock. I wanna hear from you on how you’re using this and how it’s helping you in several different ways. Thanks for joining me today, and I’m really looking forward to hearing from you.

For your convenience, here’s a transcript of this episode:

Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
You ever feel like machines are taking over, AI, and robots are gonna take away your job and leave you with nothing? Well, many people are feeling that way, but there’s actually a way we can turn it around, and we’re gonna show you in this video how to do that. How you can really take the AI, and I know this is gonna sound crazy, make it so that it’s even more human for humans to be together. We can do that. This is the key, and we’re gonna show you how to do I’ve been working with technology now for many, many years, and I wanna show you how we can do that by enhancing human connections, yeah, through AI. It’s comes crazy, but we’re gonna be able to do it. You see, what we do is we’re gonna take artificial intelligence, and we’re gonna let it amplify empathy. Yeah. Exactly.

Terry Brock [00:00:40]:
Empathy so it’ll understand more what’s going on, fostering deeper connections with human beings and enhance the human experience when we do it the right way, when it’s implemented thoughtfully. That’s a key. What you wanna do is we’re gonna take a look at that in this presentation as we express how AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude, and many, many others are particularly going to help entrepreneurs and content creators. I’m Terry Brock, and I’ve been doing this now for a long time. You can get in touch with me over at terry brock dot com. We’ll be talking about how you can do that. I speak with groups all over the world about how you can take the tools of AI and implement them to reach customers and forge that better human relationship. That’s the real key.

Terry Brock [00:01:28]:
See, it’s the paradox of humanizing technology. What we wanna do is we’re gonna take the technology that’s out there and use it to serve people better. And that’s being done right now by some very smart companies that we’re gonna talk about in this presentation to let you see how they’re doing it, who they are, and then more importantly, how you can do that. You’re gonna be able to do that in different ways like growing anthropomorphism. There’s a good word. Anthropomorphism. Meaning, we’re giving human feelings to inanimate objects. In this case, particularly, to robots.

Terry Brock [00:02:03]:
Thirty eight percent of US adults feel connected to digital assistants like Siri or Alexa. This is interesting. We start calling them like they’re our peep our children or our good friends. This is normal. Secondly, emotional projection. We’re seeing that people are doing that now. 37% believe that impatience with AI tools constitutes unkindness. You can be unkind to the AI.

Terry Brock [00:02:30]:
Really? Well, it’s because we’re getting close to them. And I think if we can foster human connection and caring for each other, even if it’s looking at machines and robots, hey, I think that’s a good thing. Good things can happen. And a third area, generational differences. This was interesting. Listen to this. Millennials lead this trend with 20% attributing emotional capacity to AI. I think that’s growing on a regular basis.

Terry Brock [00:02:56]:
And so what we wanna do is find out, okay, how do we use that for business, for content creators to make sure we connect more with people? Because there’s often a loneliness epidemic going on right now. We see the AI companions with products like Replika and Gatebox holographic avatars are filling an emotional gaps. I’m seeing it all the time as we work with many different tools. Just yesterday, I was working with some tools I’m gonna be showing to our star craving entrepreneur group that gives you the ability to have a conversation with a robot, and it sounds very authentic like you were talking to another human being. The technology has gotten that level. It’s wonderful that we can do it, but we’ve gotta exercise some cautions. And we’re gonna talk about that also on this particular video. Here’s another nice thing about it, twenty four seven report.

Terry Brock [00:03:45]:
These tools that we’re talking about are gonna offer you constant availability when the human connection is lacking. So for example, I’m doing some study right now where I’m using AI to help me learn Spanish. I speak a little bit of Russian, speak a little bit of Japanese. Makes more sense, Terry. You live in Florida, for crying out loud. Learn Spanish, and I’m loving it. Spanish is a great language, much easier to learn than, for me as a native English speaker, than Japanese or Russian, but I love it. And now I get twenty four seven support.

Terry Brock [00:04:17]:
I get someone I can ask over and over and over relentlessly practicing it. And, you know, that’s a great great way to learn anything. What you wanna do is you keep practicing it. A human being can get tired of it. Don’t you get it already after the four hundred and fifty third time, Terry? Well, maybe it takes that four hundred and fifty fourth time to actually get it to make it happen. So you’re gonna get twenty four hours a day, seven day a week, whenever it’s convenient for you, support, and make sure that’s gonna happen. Plus simulated intimacy. Well, now that’s kinda interesting.

Terry Brock [00:04:50]:
All creatures experience that mimic human relationships. You’re gonna have AI. It’s gonna create that. Now I don’t know exactly where all that’s going, but let’s just say if it helps people to get along better, that’s gonna be a good thing. Another thing we wanna look at is the human centered AI design. Now this is kinda interesting. When you look at how they’re doing it right now, we’re seeing that we start with transparency, making sure that things are open, making AI that is going to be decision making processes that are going to be explainable to users. So it’s gonna be able to do something that we need.

Terry Brock [00:05:25]:
We’re gonna say, okay. This is how we’re doing it. We wanna say right up front what’s going on. For those that are content creators, this is important because as content creators, we know you can get AI to write for you. Too many people are copying it and then just pasting it in there. That’s not the way to do it because then you’re losing your own feeling, your personality, your voice, as we say. What I would recommend instead is you copy, paste, and then customize. Customizing it, giving it your voice, giving it your feeling, your attitudes of how you’re going to do what needs to be done, and let that be done.

Terry Brock [00:06:03]:
Secondly, we’re also gonna look at the contextual adaptability so that you’re using real time ideas. You’re using those real time, sentiment analysis to find out what’s going on. So what and you adjust responses appropriately. That’s very important. Sentiment analysis lets the machine sense, what are these people really thinking? Are they liking it or not? And sometimes you just look at a transcript, that’s not gonna be good enough. I could say, oh, this was really good. And you hear me? You go we think as a human being, oh, I liked it. Maybe I was eating that sandwich and it was really good.

Terry Brock [00:06:38]:
Or if I say the same words, yeah, this sandwich was really good. You can tell by my inflection, body language, I didn’t think that was such a good sandwich. They’re building it into AI now so that you have that sentiment analysis. Understand, do people really like this or is it something that they really are gonna go in a different direction on? We need to know that. This is important for business. Also, ethical guidelines and the guardrails that you’re gonna put in there, the guidelines and the guardrails to say, wait a minute. Okay. We’re going over the line here.

Terry Brock [00:07:12]:
We gotta look at those and get people who are really, really smart and really, really care for this and using it in business. Because what we’re gonna do is we’re going to be looking at mitigating the biases through interdisciplinary teams of experts. People that say, wait a minute. You might think that’s okay, but it’s not there. We wanna look at I like the idea of inclusivity by people with different ideas, different backgrounds, different ethnicities, all of that coming together, and we get a chance to learn from each other. We do that not by force or coercion, but because we know we can become better people by listening to others. Here’s an example. Starbucks is using this now with sentiment analysis.

Terry Brock [00:07:52]:
Catch this. They’re using AI to monitor customer feedback across social media and to review the platforms. When people say, yeah, that coffee tasted real good. Just in the way that I said that, you know I didn’t like the coffee versus, boy, that coffee tasted real good. Same words, different sentiment. You think, I think you know what I’m talking about. And the trend identification, systems are gonna be able now to identify the emerging issues like dissatisfaction with menu items or something. They go, gee, they didn’t have any of the stuff that I wanted, the oogie flipper looky doo doos or whatever.

Terry Brock [00:08:29]:
You know, that’s a real popular item. You know, put that in there and be able to say, I want that. It can start checking on that. And also, continuous improvement. It blends AI scalability with human creativity for better outcomes. You get the best of both. And I think that’s a real key in this whole thing. What we’re doing is we’re not saying it’s all human or it’s all AI.

Terry Brock [00:08:52]:
It’s the appropriate blend that is contextually sensitive. Find out how much do we need a little bit more of the human beings here, where do we need a little bit more of the the robots. I’ll give you an example. Somebody that’s calling the help center, sometimes you wanna get an answer rapidly, and it can be given rapidly. What are your hours today? How late are you open? Where are you located in town? What wait. What’s the price you have today on the such and such item? That can be given pretty rapidly, and sometimes people just wanna know it quickly. Other times, something’s not working. I need to talk to a real human being.

Terry Brock [00:09:26]:
Can you relate to that? I see, okay, there’s something going wrong and I need to talk with a human. I don’t wanna just press another button for crying out loud. Let me go and I wanna be able to do this. Well, now with AI, it can take it and work with it either way, whichever one’s gonna be most appropriate. And then listening for that human response, it alerts the human teams to design targeted solutions. So we can put build it in there. This is the ideal. Deal with a robot.

Terry Brock [00:09:53]:
Deal with the AI first because often that will answer a lot of the most common questions. But you have it available so that, boom, it can go over to a human being. Make sure that that’s happening. Amazon’s another good company that targets this and they show us really how to do it right, I think. Amazon’s got a recommendation engine right now. And we’re gonna talk about that four key points in that recommendation engine. First, it’s data collection. What they’re doing is they’re analyzing individual purchase decisions, your history, the decision you made, and browsing behaviors.

Terry Brock [00:10:25]:
What are you looking for? And they find out what it is that this person likes with their full permission. Very important. I like it that Amazon understands what I like and what I bought before, and others who are like me bought these products as well. It puts it in front of me and I go, that looks interesting. Let me try it. I try it. I go, hey, that’s fabulous. I really like it.

Terry Brock [00:10:48]:
I’m glad it worked that way. Doing it the right way is really the key, and it’s a combination of the human element and the AI working together. Not either or, but both and. And also that relates to pattern recognition. So what we wanna do there is the AI is gonna identify, and it’s gonna relate to that the preferences and the potential interests to find out what it is you like. And then personalized suggestions, where it generates the hyper personalized product recommendations, things that are so much like you. You like that brown this and you like that brown that and that. Well, we got another thing here in brown.

Terry Brock [00:11:23]:
That’s your color. Really looks good on you, etcetera, etcetera. Those kind of things are there. And then for business, the revenue impact. This is important. It accounts for 35%. That’s a lot of money. Amazon’s revenue.

Terry Brock [00:11:38]:
We’re talking billions of dollars here. Very important. And here’s another company that’s doing it right. Sephora, they’re using chatbot ecosystem for some great things. 73% wait time reduction when they did this. That’s important. When you can get someone on the line quickly and get my answer right now, I’m liking that a lot. AI assistants now are handling the routine queries about the store hours or product availability, like I was mentioning before, to find out, do you have any of the such and such there? Do you have any of this kind of item, etcetera? And a 22% satisfaction increase, that translates down to the bottom line.

Terry Brock [00:12:19]:
The human staff can now focus on complex consultations that are improving the overall experience. You get the idea here? What we’re doing is we’re taking the best of the humans, the best of the robots, and putting them together. Not either or, but both and. You’re gonna be able to say, okay. This is how we do it. This is how we make these things happen in a big way. And then here’s a real nice one, 20 four seven availability. Our world today is like that.

Terry Brock [00:12:48]:
Customers can receive the support even outside business hours. You know what it’s like today. We are looking for solutions, and we’re going to get answers from companies twenty four seven, sometimes on holidays. I remember just a little while ago, I was running into problems with a little program I just purchased. Well, I went over to their website. This was on a holiday. And I typed in a question, and it came back with an answer within ten seconds. And that was okay, but it wasn’t quite right.

Terry Brock [00:13:19]:
I said, yeah, but what about this? Then it went a step further and answered it. It was built into the programming, and this is what every business needs to start thinking about. How can we do this and make it happen so that what we’re doing is we’re moving in there to make sure, hey, we are going to be here to help you and to get the solutions that you need when you need them twenty four seven. Also, we’re seeing some stories of very good moving stories that are empathy at scale. This is when you can start making the kind of decisions that you need. With a narrative collection, you can take any transaction that you’re going to have with the immigrant stories and experiences. Take those kind of stories that others have had and experienced, and then move those into what can be work can work for you. And then look at emotional analysis.

Terry Brock [00:14:07]:
Understand things like that. Like NLP that will give you tools which are natural language processing tools so they identify the emotional cues and themes. It can sense the difference between, yeah, that was a good sandwich, and, yeah, it was a good sandwich. Same words, different natural language processing is required. And the connection building, you’re able to use this by matching the community members with other shared experiences, putting them together. And here’s the real key, empathy, growth. So that you start out and you’re working with that, our early traits show that we’re seeing a 40% increase in sympathy metrics among users. So in the empathy as well as the sympathy, all of that working together.

Terry Brock [00:14:59]:
What we’re seeing is people are saying, alright. We want to feel close to people. And when you can design a system that does that for you, then you’re in really good shape. You’re gonna make sure that it’s working much better and using tools the right way. So what are some of those tools that are there? Well, some of them are tools like content creation tools that we’re using now, chat GPT, of course. My old buddy, Perplexity, that I like because it taps into a host of others and then gives us some extra capabilities to produce some very attractive pages for handouts or spaces where we can work and get things done. I’ve been using Grok a lot and really love the quality of pictures that it’s giving us. When we we use those tied into x, I can do a lot with that.

Terry Brock [00:15:46]:
Taja, another great tool that gives us the ability to get a description to generate thumbnails. Yeah. It generates thumbnails for you. I love it. Just use that today for another video I put together. Taja, that’s t a j a. Taja gives you the ability to do all of those kinds of things very nicely. Cast magic, one of my favorites.

Terry Brock [00:16:09]:
I can take the video matter of fact, we’re gonna be using that for all of our videos. We still are on this video that I’m doing for you. Hey. This is a creator to creator behind the the door. What I’m doing is I take what I’ve got, and then I use cast magic to give me a transcript of it, to give me introductions, to give me a starting rough draft. Then I take it and I turn it into my own words, modifying, adjusting from there. And gamma is another great tool. Matter of fact, I’m using that right now.

Terry Brock [00:16:42]:
I went into deep research, got information for what I’m talking about here, moved it into gamma, which grabbed all of those components, gave me about 40 pages of slides, and then I just bring that right into my Apple Keynote, and it works beautifully. Something that is amazing, what it can do, and how you can start using this. I would recommend take a look at some of these tools and how they can help you. They’re really nice. Maybod, do you like that little bounce there? Put in there, the little bounce that you could use that. And here’s another tool that’s doing it right, Grammarly. I’m not using Grammarly myself, but I know others that are. I used it a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

Terry Brock [00:17:24]:
Great program and they do a lot with it. You can do a lot with conversations. For instance, you get a conversational tone that suggests edits to make copy feel, well, more approachable and more friendly. So you’ve got something there that’s really gonna help you in a big way. Also, the urgency calibration. It gives you the ability to create the appropriate sense of urgency without appearing desperate. It’s sensing what’s going on. And I think that’s where the best of the best of AI comes in.

Terry Brock [00:17:54]:
When it starts really sensing, okay, what is it that people want? What is it that they’re doing? What can we do to make this thing better than ever? And by using these together, again, the human and the robot together. Also, you can use this for a lot of other things with empathy and empathy. The empathy, caring for people and getting back sure make sure you enhance that. Because by with this, it’s gonna identify the opportunities to increase the emotional connection. All of this is to benefit human beings, and it’s working. Well, how do we do that? A hybrid workflow framework can really help. Human beings operating with robots using human judgment. You reserve the final creative decisions for the human team members.

Terry Brock [00:18:41]:
Humans make the final decision. And in the midst of that, we have a collaborative refinement. So the humans and AI iterate on the content together. And with AI analysis, use AI for data integration and tread trend identification. I guess you could use a tread as well if you’re working and then you got some some tires. You wanna get some good tread there? But the trend, yeah, identification is really what you’re looking at. Okay. Where are we going? What are people looking for? Again, that sentiment analysis is nice.

Terry Brock [00:19:11]:
I was just speaking a while back with, some people who were in the deli and bakery industry. We did some analysis and sentiment analysis looking what people are looking for and projecting where they’re going so we had a good idea of what kind of purchases their customers are gonna be making within the next six months or so. This is really important. That AI analysis gives you a lot of capabilities with it. And then here is one that’s really important. Starbucks is doing this a lot as well. Human in the loop systems. I love this blend.

Terry Brock [00:19:44]:
Write this down because this is something that most every business can use. Your business can probably use this in a really big way. You’re gonna use AI analysis, the systems that will process data and generate initial recommendations. Not a command, it’s not doing it, it’s just a recommendation. Then it goes to a human review. This is brilliant. Qualified professionals then evaluate, they’re using their brain thinking about it, the AI suggestions. Then we take it and refine it.

Terry Brock [00:20:17]:
Oh, yeah. Humans modify the recommendations based on context and expertise. Hey. Someone might have more expertise in this area. Let that person do this. She might know a whole lot more about a given topic than the others do. Wonderful. Let’s bring in that more inclusive thinking so we get a variety of different opinions all the way around.

Terry Brock [00:20:39]:
Then we implement. This is where he gets moving. Final human approved decisions are put into action. That is good. And matter of fact, that is a model to use in content creation as well. My friends who are producing content, yeah, like I am, what you wanna do is you want to tie into what people are thinking, what they’re saying. And when you’re writing and producing it, start with your ideas, then let AI modify it. Like in writing something, let it clean up your spelling.

Terry Brock [00:21:08]:
Let it, give you suggestions for grammar. Now sometimes, you might want to use improper grammar depending on how you’re communicating, for a laugh, for fun, to make a strong point. Yeah. But AI will be subservient to the humans. I think they’re doing a great job of this at Starbucks, and we can borrow from that and say, alright, we’re gonna use similar kinds of functionality as well. Also, you want cultural adaptation tools. So for instance, what you’re gonna be able to do is look at regional idioms. How they’re saying it? They say things differently.

Terry Brock [00:21:40]:
Have you noticed there’s a difference between Boston and Austin? Yeah. We say things a little bit differently. So what you’ll do is you’ll humanize the AI pro and that adjusts the content for the local expressions and the sayings. People will be able to be a little bit different. That’s just one way. And then look at the historical context. This incorporates cultural sensitivities based on regional histories. Find out what was good here and maybe what didn’t what happened before that we wanna avoid now.

Terry Brock [00:22:12]:
These are important as well. And then here’s the most important, customization. Make sure that you avoid the, well, one size fits all. This one here is for everyone approach to the content creation. No. You wanna turn that around and adapt it differently. Be context aware of emotional intelligence. That is really important there.

Terry Brock [00:22:33]:
You wanna listen to voice analysis. A matter of fact, that’s what the machines are doing now. They’re going in and they’re listening for the analysis. So that, for instance, with Google’s MUM, the MUM detects the subtle emotional cues and the voice tone, like I was talking about before. Your tone is there. And when you can get a machine to do that and then alert a real human being to come in and help, now you got the combination you need. And look at the typing pattern. Sometimes the way they type says something as well.

Terry Brock [00:23:03]:
The systems can identify emotions through the keyboard interaction style. I guess they could really tell if they’re banging on the keyboard. That would say something right there, and you wanted to follow-up with that. And nuanced responses. These nuanced responses are gonna help you because the AI generates replies calibrated to the emotional response of what people are saying, what they like, and what they don’t like. And this one by the way, I love this picture here. Those of you that are catching this on video, that picture there of the man, the lady, and the robot helping her, this is what it’s really all about. It’s augmentation over automation.

Terry Brock [00:23:41]:
It can help you with repetitive tasks so that the robots can handle that. The AI will be able to handle the data processing, the scheduling, and the routine communications, just the regular stuff. And then that frees us up for the human focus that people can concentrate on creative thinking and the emotional connection. Balanced workflow means what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna have teams that achieve higher productivity while maintaining quality relationships. Using the combination of AI and human beings, we’re gonna get the very best of both. Here are four things that are very important also with your ethical AI literacy. Ethical AI literacy is very important. We gotta be careful of our bias recognition.

Terry Brock [00:24:29]:
The training that we get can help teams identify potential AI prejudices. Find out where it is. Sometimes it’s a hallucination. AI can hallucinate. In other words, say something that’s wrong, but we wanna check that. Then you wanna have limitation awareness. Understand where AI should not replace human judgment. We’ve gotta build that in.

Terry Brock [00:24:52]:
That is critical. Otherwise, the AI could take over and, hey, those sci fi movies might become real. I think we’re gonna be able to avoid that. We as human beings are gonna be smarter. And then implementation guidelines. When you’re implementing it, have your frameworks in place for responsible AI deployment in your various contexts. And also, continuous education. Regular updates on emerging ethical consideration, what’s going on and what should be done.

Terry Brock [00:25:20]:
So it’s really the value of human uniqueness. We let human beings do their thing and let robots do their thing as well. We have each doing what’s best and blending it together so that we have AI’s greatest value, which may really lie in reminding us what makes us uniquely human. Isn’t that interesting? That it will help us to know what we’re doing uniquely human. Empathy, creativity, and meaningful storytelling. This is excuse me. This is where it is right now. We’ve got to make sure that we work with that.

Terry Brock [00:25:53]:
So here’s how you do it. You’re gonna build trust through an AI human balance, achieving authentic connection, meaningful relationships that are built on transparency. In addition to that, we’re gonna look at ethical implementation. So you have responsible AI use and you have some clear boundaries. AI will not do this. AI can do that. And then we’re gonna look at the augmented capabilities where we say, okay. We have an enhanced human ability through thoughtful AI integration.

Terry Brock [00:26:24]:
And then we’re gonna take a look at the technical foundation. The technical foundation means it’s reliable and you got well designed a AI systems. That little graph right there can really help you a lot. This gives you the ability to see, okay, how are we gonna do this thing? How do we make it work so that, hey, it’s gonna be better all the way around? And so that as we’re moving within the different parameters, getting the job done in different areas, we’re gonna let AI do what it does best and let humans do what they do best. As we see the combination of them, we see them both moving around doing that. So your key takeaways for this right now, I think is, first of all, you wanna take a look at that balance is essential. That balance is gonna give you the ability to know when do you do it this with a human, when do we do it with a robot, with AI. Also, the AI should augment rather than replace the human connection.

Terry Brock [00:27:19]:
That’s key. It is not replacement, it is augmentation. But you’ve gotta learn. Gotta learn what’s going on with that. Also, we’re gonna look at ethics first. What is the proper thing to do? We’re gonna prioritize transparency, bias mitigation, and human oversight. Making sure humans are looking at this to determine what do we need to do here and what should we not be doing. And then, very, very important, measure the impact.

Terry Brock [00:27:47]:
Find out what’s going on. Use emotional analytics to quantify and improve the engagement. You see, we’re taking the best of both. That’s what matters in all of this. We’re taking what human beings can do. We’re taking what robots can do, AI, and we put them together. By putting them together, you get the very best of both. This is gonna help you to achieve the kind of goals that you need and to really get ahead of the competition as you’re using the the best of both to get it all done.

Terry Brock [00:28:17]:
Also, we’re gonna take a look at humanity, celebrating it. Celebrating humanity and saying, yeah. This is what we wanna do. We’re gonna make life better for human beings all the way around. So like we started here, we’re enhancing the human condition condition. Artificial intelligence, it can amplify the empathy, foster deeper connections, and enhance human experiences when implemented thoughtfully. That’s important. And this presentation has done that.

Terry Brock [00:28:45]:

Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
One of the most important things you can do as a content creator is repurpose your material. That means using something that worked really well over here, and it’s good, and you get some good response from it. And now you put it over here in different formats. There’s ways to do it, and there’s ways not to. Also, in this episode, we’re gonna show you what you can do and how that can help you in the kind of work you’re doing. I’m Terry Brock with Star Craving Entrepreneurs. We’re gonna talk in this episode for you on the art of content repurposing, maximizing your creative efforts. This is something that is so exciting when you see the capabilities of it it and how it can work and how it’s gonna help you in many different ways.

Terry Brock [00:00:34]:
One of the ways you’re gonna be able to do is learn how you can effectively reuse the content and transform it, the existing content that you have, across multiple platforms while avoiding some of those common pitfalls, the things that we all fall into from time to time. What you’re gonna be able to do is be able to see, okay, here’s how to do it, and here’s what can be done. Because multipurposing your content, taking some of it worked over here and use it over there, maybe in a different format, can really, really help. It’s gonna be better for your reach from a marketing point of view. And, hey, it’s gonna be easier for you too rather than having to always come up with something new. Much like it’s better to keep a current customer than to go out and get a new customer, It’s easier to repurpose the content you already got versus going out and having to create something else all the time. So you’ll be able to use both of these. We’re gonna show you how to do it in this particular video.

Terry Brock [00:01:26]:
First of all, let’s take a look at why in the world would you wanna repurpose your content. Kinda make the case for it and say, well, why would you do that? What are the benefits for it? Well, first of all, you extend the content lifespan. What you’re doing is you’re giving your content a second life, a new chance in new formats. Something that worked really well, say in video, now gets a chance to do well, say, in audio only. So older content gets discovered by fresh audiences. For example, you might have someone that has joined what you did on YouTube. They like YouTube. Other people might not see it.

Terry Brock [00:01:58]:
They don’t have time for a YouTube video, but they sure do like audio. When they’re making a trip from here to here, long trip, they like to listen to that audio format. By repurposing that, it’s really easy to do. You can take that. Also, other people don’t have time for either. They’re real fast, moving fast, but they sit down and they read a LinkedIn article. Oh, so now what you’ve done, you’ve taken the transcript and you’ve moved it into a text format so you can use it there. Hey.

Terry Brock [00:02:24]:
That makes a lot of sense. Plus, you can take that text format, and part of repurposing is customizing a little bit. You don’t necessarily have to. You can copy and paste. What we recommend often is that you copy, paste, and then customize. That’s the key. Copy, paste, and customize. So you might add a little extra.

Terry Brock [00:02:44]:
You’re talking about these things that are really important, and then you remember, oh, I heard that in our conference I went to last April, and it was really good when the speaker was saying this. She said that really well. Well, you go in there and you put that little extra in there. Those extras that you put in really make all the difference in the world. Now another thing you’re gonna do is you’ll reach new audiences. You’ll reach the audiences because people will consume your content differently. Some prefer videos. Some prefer podcasts or reading.

Terry Brock [00:03:12]:
Like I was saying, they want it in different formats. You’re gonna be able to help in many different areas. And then also, here’s a real good one for you and me as content creators. You’re gonna save time and resources. You get a chance to leverage. Now there’s a word that’s really important. Leverage existing content instead of creating from scratch. By doing that, you’re gonna cut down on your research and planning costs.

Terry Brock [00:03:36]:
It’ll make sure that you get a lot more done in a lot less time. Also, what you wanna do is you wanna improve on your online presence. You’re gonna make sure that it gets better all the time over there because what you’re gonna be doing is you’re gonna getting better s o SEO and search engine optimization, which is still important, changing right now in church, in terms of what I like. Neil Patel says, search everything optimization. Searching all over the place. Well, you by putting it in other places on the same topic, you improve your search rankings and more likely that people will see it. More opportunities to rank for related keywords. Also, HubSpot did a study recently that was about businesses updating their older blogs post, saw up to 106% increase in organic traffic.

Terry Brock [00:04:26]:
Think about that. You can get that much increase, that is definitely worth looking into. Plus, look at your brand consistency. Now here’s where it really starts sparkling. You strengthen your identity on this. By using core ideas across platforms, it ensures you’re consistent. You’re saying the same thing in different ways wherever you go. Your audience recognizes that distinct voice, and this is something that’s important.

Terry Brock [00:04:50]:
Like, for instance, at Stark Raving Entrepreneurs, one of the things we talk about a lot is the idea of live and let live. We believe you should live your life as an entrepreneur. Get out there, do whatever you want. Just do not harm others. Don’t take their stuff. You do that, and that’s good. Now some people might say, okay. Live and let live, but then it’s alright to take money from someone else in this case.

Terry Brock [00:05:11]:
And we go, no. No. No. No. That that’s not right. You wanna be consistent. And by using multipurposing, by putting in different kinds of content in the same same content message, but in different ways, you’re gonna help people get a lot more done in a lot less time also. Also, by using multiplatform recognition, it is really good.

Terry Brock [00:05:31]:
You’re using the same concepts across your blog, your podcast, your social, and that keeps your brand familiar to audiences. Oh, yeah. Starcraving entrepreneurs, they’re the people that help entrepreneurs to build their business using the live and let live ideas and the foundation. Okay. We keep saying that over and over. People get the idea and say, okay. That’s good. That’s what we want.

Terry Brock [00:05:53]:
And you’re unified you’re unifying your messages. So your messages are unified. I like that idea. You’re going to have a consistent theme that reinforces your experience, their experience in whatever they’re doing, and your expertise. Their experience is helped because of your expertise in those areas. Also, you wanna maximize your high performing content. Identify the winners first and foremost. Make sure that you can look at the content that’s performing well in one format.

Terry Brock [00:06:24]:
There’s a good chance it’s gonna do well over in that other place because, if you think about it, you’re dealing with people that are looking for information. We work with content creators and show them key ways they can use AI and other tools to build their business. And so what worked over here, say, in our YouTube video is gonna work for those who are listening on podcast. They just choose to consume it in different ways. Some people like to listen to it, in audio after they’ve watched it on video. That helps us to learn something about our cognitive mindset. Psychologists who are way, way smarter than me about education and how we learn, psychologists talk about that in many ways. By getting exposure to new material in different areas, you’re gonna be able to do a lot of good things in many different areas.

Terry Brock [00:07:10]:
Also, you multiply your reach. You transform the top blogs into podcasts and infographics and social posts. Think of all the ways you can take it and twist it and show it in different formats, and you can target different segments. Each format represents unique audience segments with the same message. So think about that. And one thing, for instance, on TikTok, you’ve got a different predominantly different age group than you do in LinkedIn. Predominantly different age group than you do in LinkedIn, different demographics probably. Well, you can take that same message you have and repurpose it.

Terry Brock [00:07:44]:
Going back to what we’re talking about, live and let live, over in TikTok, they’re gonna relate to that in a different way. Younger generation’s gonna want something a little bit different. Show them ways they can do what they want. As they get older, you do the kind of work you want. You don’t have anybody have to tell you what to do. Over on LinkedIn, you can talk about ways, hey. You’ve worked hard to get this. Now you’ve got it.

Terry Brock [00:08:04]:
And we believe in live and let live. Meaning, you don’t hurt others, you don’t take their stuff, and they shouldn’t take yours. That’s the way it works. Now you deal with that in another way when people do, but that’s a whole another story. But what you wanna do is make sure you’re targeting those different segments different ways and making sure you’re getting maximum for your content that you’re creating. And another thing you wanna do, you wanna boost your audience engagement. This is really important. You wanna make sure that those people who are attending your sessions, whether it’s live in person or if it’s on some form of medium, that they’re going to find they get multiple exposures and you’re more apt to learn it better that way.

Terry Brock [00:08:42]:
For instance, audiences will engage with content, again, when it’s presented differently. Sometimes they might have, seen the video, but when they can read the text, maybe with some pictures added, it could add to the learning experience for them. Plus, knowing that it might be just a little bit different with some extra examples, hey, that’s even better. Lots of good there. And check out the format preferences. Some people prefer to have a quick video, while others want in-depth articles. So you wanna have a multitude of ways that people can reach you and you can reach them. And also, you probably heard of the learning styles psychologists tell us about.

Terry Brock [00:09:20]:
Like some people are kinesthetic. They want more of the experience there. Others learn more visually, and others learn more through audible. So you wanna make sure that you’ve got something available. Many visual, auditory, and reading learners all get their content in their preferred way. So they’re gonna say, hey, I like to read more. I know, for instance, Gina likes to listen to a lot of audio. I do too, but she likes it more.

Terry Brock [00:09:44]:
I tend to like to read text. So I can see text or I like to listen to video, watch a video, but I’ll watch it at a faster speed. I wanna be able to jump around. I wanna be able to pause it. I wanna be able to go into that video, and if somebody gives a reference, I like a video and I go, oh, that’s really good, and they mention something. What I wanna do is be able to freeze that frame, go over and look into what’s going on in other areas. I can reference it, look at the websites they referenced, or more, do a little more study, then come back to the video and restart the video at that point. This is how people learn in different ways.

Terry Brock [00:10:19]:
So you wanna adapt to that, whatever you’re doing. And then you wanna navigate those algorithm changes. Have you noticed that? The algorithms keep changing all the time. Well, they have a right to do that, but you’ve got to reduce your risk. One of the things you can do there is understand the algorithms on social platforms are constantly changing. They’re trying to adapt and adjust. They wanna make things better. They said, gee, last week when we tried this, it didn’t work so well.

Terry Brock [00:10:46]:
Maybe if we do it this way with a little twist, so they adjust it. We’ve got to adapt for that. And when you have a multiplatform presence, that increases your visibility. So they might have made some major changes, say, this week on net on LinkedIn, But you’re sending your message out also over there on YouTube, maybe in a post that you’re putting out a still image of words. You’re reinforcing it both ways. And so whatever happens there, you’re gonna be able to adapt. Hootsuite did some research on this, and they found that multiplatform presence is crucial for staying visible amid algorithm shifts. So you wanna make sure you have that multiplatform presence.

Terry Brock [00:11:28]:
Things are changing. Don’t put yourself only on one platform. You can get hurt with that. Make form you make sure you also have platform independence. Don’t put all your control in one place. Something about don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Well, don’t put all your content in one place. Diversify across your own and social channels.

Terry Brock [00:11:48]:
What do we mean by that? Well, you wanna make sure you’re sending out, for instance, a blog or something on your WordPress site, your website. That way, your content is there and you’re not gonna have come in and change it on your website. Over on Facebook, you put something there and they might think, oh, we don’t like that. They have a right to take it off because that is their platform. So you wanna make sure you’re diversifying for a multitude of reasons. This is where smart people are operating today as content entrepreneurs. And then you want to maintain consistent output. Boy, this is important.

Terry Brock [00:12:22]:
There are three points to this one. Number one, create your core content and you wanna break it into smaller pieces. So now you’ve got your core content here, but you break it up into different areas. For instance, we were over on Taja a lot because Taja really embraces repurposing. It gives us the ability to create one long form video that might be ten, fifteen, twenty minutes, thirty minutes, or longer. We can put that in there, and it goes through and it breaks it up into the little chunks for us. I like that a lot. And then you can schedule strategically.

Terry Brock [00:12:55]:
Yet another thing we like about Taja is that it gives you the ability to take that clip, that one minute and thirty seven second clip, for instance, that is really good, and you’re thinking, that’s nice. I like that. It’s got the graphics flowing below it. It’s got the words and the captions. All that’s really important. I wanna put that over here on LinkedIn. We wanna put it on YouTube and we’ll put it over there on TikTok if we want. Something like that.

Terry Brock [00:13:18]:
You can put it there. Although, we’re not doing much on TikTok like zero at all. But you can do a lot. It’s a good platform and there’s a lot of, options you want on there. But then you can schedule it to out next Tuesday at 03:00 because you found that’s a good time for your audience. That’s when they like it. So now you’re gonna have the opportunity to get a lot more done in a lot less time and get better results. Then you also wanna update improve.

Terry Brock [00:13:43]:
Now this is important for our audiences. You wanna audit your older content. Make sure that you review the past and outdated information, opportunities to enhance. This is something we talk about a lot at Star Craving Entrepreneurs. People have content that they’ve created ten, twenty, thirty years ago or more that’s still really good. However, they might want to adjust it. I remember just the other day, we were talking about that, and someone knew of some content they have. This content was written, I think, back in the nineties, and it has some real good messages in there.

Terry Brock [00:14:15]:
But there was a reference to audio cassettes. Remember that? Yeah. And if you don’t, hey, Google that one. Or now we will say perplexity that one or chat GPT that one, audio cassettes. Well, what you would wanna do today is say, take the message you might have on an m p three or that you’re getting over on YouTube podcast or something like that. Update it. Plus, you might wanna enhance it. You might have said something thirty years ago, and now you think that’s not really a good way to do it.

Terry Brock [00:14:45]:
Not putting aside technology, maybe that’s just not a good thing to do. A better approach might be blah blah blah. Or what we have found lately in dealing with people is more to do this. So now updating it, you’re giving some extra energy to that older content that you had before, and you’re getting some really good capabilities with it in many, many different ways. This is something we highly recommend that you work with. So audit that older content, stay up with it, and then refresh the new data. Make sure that you’ve got with updated statistics. Make sure you got examples and references with current information.

Terry Brock [00:15:19]:
Real important there. And then republish with those improvements. Add your new sections in there with visuals and the formats based on your audience feedback. Because they might say we like this, then they might not want something else. And then make sure you’re looking at that ROI of repurposing. This is critical. They told us this in business school was a really good idea. Check your ROI.

Terry Brock [00:15:40]:
Well, as I mentioned before, 100% traffic increase has been documented in studies coming out from HubSpot. The potential organic traffic growth is there when you’re updating your older blog post. So go back there to that digital format, blow the dust off it, digitally speaking, of course. Put that in there so people will see what’s there, and notice what kind of increase you’re getting. We’re seeing that happen for us, going back and refreshing some of the good things. And also get this, not just a 106% increase, but a three time. That’s 300%. Content reach.

Terry Brock [00:16:15]:
When you use typical multiplication of audience when you’re using multiple formats. You’re saying, here’s something on LinkedIn. Here’s something also over on YouTube. Here’s something over on our blog that you can use. And here’s something on maybe a different format. Another way, by the way, of repurposing that is really good, we recommend for energizing what you’re doing, is guest podcasting. Be a guest on someone else’s podcast. I’ve got a friend this today, a little bit later this afternoon, as I’m recording this, I’m gonna be on their podcast and getting a chance to get out there, talk about what’s going on with AI, some of the current, episodes of what’s happening, current developments, new areas where we’re finding entrepreneurs using it and getting really good feedback from it.

Terry Brock [00:17:01]:
So those are things you wanna keep doing. And then also, 60% time saved. There’s a reduction in the content creation time compared to starting from scratch. Think about that. Think about how much time it takes you to create brand spanking new content, which we all have to do. Now there’s some tools you can use, and we’re gonna be showing how to do that using tools like Taj, like Cast Magic, like Gamma, like many others. Camtasia is another one that we’re using. And using c c ECAM.

Terry Brock [00:17:32]:
Excuse me. Not c, but ECAM. These are various tools you might think. Well, what are they? And how can you use them? And you feel a little bit overwhelmed. But with a proper planning, you can make sure that you get through in a wonderful way, and you’re saving yourself 60% time saved. Hey. I’d say that’s a real good thing when you see what’s going on and how to do it. So here’s something you can do.

Terry Brock [00:17:56]:
Putting this together, repurposing success path. What you wanna do is start with consistent growth. Have sustainable audience and revenue expansion. Make sure you’re constantly doing this. New plans with it. Using a calendar is good, like we use in Taja. It gives us the ability to use that calendar and plan it. So I can look at a calendar and go, oh, we got some oh, we don’t have anything scheduled for next Thursday.

Terry Brock [00:18:17]:
Need to put something in there. And what time is good? Well, according to the past and according to research that we found from AI, this time of day is best for our group. So we’ll put it somewhere around in there on this platform, this one, this one. Yeah. Let’s put it on that one as well. All within one tool gives us the ability to do that. I like that a lot. Then refine your strategy.

Terry Brock [00:18:40]:
Optimize it based on your performance data of what’s happening. Then implement your systems. Get out there and do it. Create the workflows for regular purposing. What you want there is that old word systems. One of the most important things you can do is develop systems for everything that’s important that you do, which is, well, just about everything. System on how to do it, what to do it. Now, I have to really credit Gina on this because Gina Carr, my partner and my fiance, she went to Georgia Tech and majored in systems and industrial engineering.

Terry Brock [00:19:12]:
Well, systems is really important, and those engineers knew what to do and how to do it. By the way, Georgia Tech was ranked number one school in the world for that too, which is pretty good. Better than MIT, better than Stanford, and they’re both damn good. And you want those systems for you. So you wanna implement systems for your workflow. We talk a lot about that at Star Grieving Entrepreneurs also. How to do it, what to do, and even more importantly, what not to do. Yeah.

Terry Brock [00:19:38]:
Stop doing that. Do this instead. Focus on those a plus activities gonna help you to get ahead and achieve the goals that you want for your work. And identify new opportunities. Analyze the top content for repurposing potential. Hey. What’s working over there? That one might work over here as well. Have those kind of meetings with your team.

Terry Brock [00:19:59]:
And here’s some things to avoid too. It’s not all just the things to do. Here’s some real important mistakes you want to avoid. Pitfalls like copy and pasting without adaptation. Just copying something, putting it in there, not a good idea. What you wanna do is, I recommend, that you copy, paste, and then customize. That is really important. What you wanna do is by using that, you’re gonna be able to copy something that you have that you might see, then you paste it over here.

Terry Brock [00:20:29]:
That’s good, but don’t stop there. You wanna go over here and customize. Turn it around a little bit. Matter of fact, that’s what I’ve been doing on this presentation. Put the these slides in here. I went out and did my research, looked at it, found what was working, what I like, what I didn’t like, put that in there, and then brought it in, and then customized it with pictures of my own that I’ve created. Put it into gamma and let gamma do it and then move it around a little bit from there. So it’s got me doing the work.

Terry Brock [00:20:53]:
AI is an assistant. So one of the main things you wanna do is make sure that when you’re doing this, that you’re doing it in the right way and that you’re using the right thing. So copy and pasting, no. Not that. But you wanna also watch out for neglecting the platform optimization. You’re gonna present your message differently on TikTok than you would on LinkedIn. It’s gonna be different there on different formats. You wanna adapt to that platform.

Terry Brock [00:21:19]:
It’s like you’re gonna wear different clothes if you go to a formal evening attire versus going to the beach. Obviously, same person, but you want different styles of clothing, different ways of doing it. Watch out for inconsistent branding. That means colors too. And I don’t know much about colors. Okay? I’m not really good on that. But others who know this, they watch out for it. Gina knows a lot more about that than I do, and many other people are smart on that.

Terry Brock [00:21:44]:
So you wanna make sure that it’s consistent. And also failing to update your data. You don’t wanna put something out there that was true so long ago. And by the way, in AI, that could be last week’s material. So stay on top of it as much as you can. And then there’s also some legal and ethical considerations. I’m no lawyer and this is not legal advice. You need to see your own lawyer for that.

Terry Brock [00:22:04]:
But these are general ideas that are important to get permissions. Make sure that what you when you use something, you have the rights to the all of that content and the elements. Make sure you do. For instance, this picture, let me get really nitty gritty here. That picture above there, I created it by typing in the words that are different, that are unique to me, I put it in there. When I talk to copyright lawyers, they say, this is not these are not my words, but what copyright lawyers are saying in general, you wanna make sure that you put as much customization and uniqueness of you in there as possible. Make sure you see your copyright lawyer before making decisions on that. Get your own legal opinion.

Terry Brock [00:22:43]:
I’m not offering any legal advice here. Hey. In the MBA program, I had one class in business law, and that does not give me the right to have give any legal advice. Okay? So you wanna stay with it. And also, respect the collaborators. When they have it, get explicit approval for your guest content repurposing. Hey, Mary. You did a great job on that interview.

Terry Brock [00:23:04]:
Is it alright if we send that out and amplify it a little bit more for you? Would that be alright? If Mary said, oh, I felt so embarrassed. Please do not use that ever again. Okay. I might not like that, but I’m gonna honor Mary’s wish, my my hypothetical in quotes here, Mary, that I’m gonna make sure I honestly go along with what she wants and then properly license it. In other words, verify your music, your image, and your footage permission that you have the right to use that. There are ways to do it now that you can pay a certain amount of money and you’re covered for that. Make sure you’re doing it the right way. Also, make sure you always check those rights before repurposing content with elements you don’t fully own.

Terry Brock [00:23:43]:
This protects your brand from potential legal issues. Really important. And your action plan. Let’s look at this here. This is gonna be really important. You got make sure you’re taking notes on this. Here’s where you really wanna take some notes on it. And I got some of the best stuff coming up for you in just a moment.

Terry Brock [00:23:58]:
Audit your existing content. Take a look at it. Identify the high performing pieces with repurposing potential. Hey, this one’s doing real well over here. Might wanna try that again as well. Map out the format conversions. Look at what you’ve got there. Plan which formats work best for each piece.

Terry Brock [00:24:15]:
Hey, they really liked this over on on, LinkedIn. Good. On YouTube, they didn’t care for that as much. That’s interesting. Okay. Maybe we remember that and go different. Over here on Facebook, this one went really well. Okay.

Terry Brock [00:24:28]:
That’s good to know. Also, measure your results. Do the analytics and check them. Track your performance across the formats and the platforms to see what happened. This is really critical. And then here’s something most important. Again, you hear me talk about this a lot. Create your systems.

Terry Brock [00:24:43]:
Again, as Gina would tell us, we want those systems to work for you, develop your workflow and consistent purpose repurposing. I find the more I do that, the better off I am. And matter of fact, one of the things that I find that’s really important for me is doing more content creation and doing it more than once a week. As I’m doing it more, I’m getting used to it. When I did it only once a week, I didn’t do as well. I bump in some of the same mistakes over and over because it takes me a while to learn this. But when I’m doing it multiple times, hey, I’m remembering it better. So there’s a lot of good here in repurposing, making sure you’re doing that on a consistent and regular basis.

Terry Brock [00:25:22]:
And finally, I wanna leave you with this. From Foster Capital’s twenty twenty four analysis position, repurposing as a strategic imperative. That’s critical. This is so important. It’s not just a nice idea or tactically a good thing, strategically imperative for transforming single assets into multi platform campaign panes arguing that the metamorphosis of content forms directly correlated with improved conversion rates. So what you wanna do is make sure that you’re improving this, going back and forth in different ways all the time, making sure that what you’re getting there is going to be something that is going to work profoundly well for a number of people in your audience. And when you get down to it, really, you’re doing this for your audience. They want different kinds of formats.

Terry Brock [00:26:07]:
They wanna see your message repeated so that they hear a good message and they go, hey. I like that. Then they hear it over here. They saw it over here. Now they hear it over here. Now they experience it again in an effort environment. All of that is good. Well, I know we’ve given you a lot of good information here.

Terry Brock [00:26:21]:
I’ve got some good news for you. The good news is we put together a special program for you that’s easy to follow, and it keeps you updated. Aitoolsforbiz.com. If you’re hearing this on an audio format, that’s aitools, the number four,biz.com. And that’s all in lowercase. So use that. We talk about many different tools that you’re gonna be able to use. They’re gonna help you like Dolly three, Canva, we use a lot and love it to pieces.

Terry Brock [00:26:52]:
ChatGPT, of course, we use that in many different formats and the different kinds of flavors that they have for reasoning and for research, all of that real nice. Also using perplexity. Perplexity gives us a lot of capabilities there as well. Also talking about OpenAI and lexica. Art, tools like that. Yudley is there at StableDistusion, and we’ve just added some extra goodies over there for you so that you’re gonna be able to use those as well. Well, this is one of the things we’ve done with it. Just to pull the curtain back a little bit, we use Canva so we can update this regularly for you with new ideas, new videos, new ways to learn.

Terry Brock [00:27:31]:
It’s a great way for you and your team to come up to speed fast on some of this technology to see how it works and what can be done with it and how you can start using it again. And for those of you catching this on video, here’s a QR code you could use to grab that real quickly. Aitoolsforbiz.com is, again, the place to go for that. You’re gonna get some good information there. And we’ve got some other videos for you as well. So click on these videos to see what is their videos on using perplexity, using Ontazia. Many of those lead to it. It’s kinda like a string jump on there, and you get a chance to see all of those.

Terry Brock [00:28:06]:
Hey. Thanks for joining me, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you. In the comments, how are you using repurposing, and what’s it doing for you? I’m Terry Brock. Thank you very much for joining me.

Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
The world is ripe now for content creators to come in and to give their knowledge, their inspiration to solve problems, and you can do it today. Content creator to content creator, I’ve got a video for you. This one’s a little bit special, more than what I’ve normally done, and I wanna show you some of the tools I’m using, some of the opportunities you have for really building relationship marketing, building your business by using repurposing, creating content, yeah, with some AI tools. I’m gonna show you some that I like, something that I like, things that I like about it, things that I don’t care for about it. This is just us. I’m bearing my soul to you. I wanna show you this to help you out. I’m Terry Brock, and I’ve been doing content creation really all my life since I was a kid.

Terry Brock [00:00:40]:
Undergrad degree was radio, TV, and newspaper. Went on for the MBA in marketing, learned that stuff, and now I’ve been doing this with eight audio, video, television. I’ve done that in the past and all through all those areas. And now I wanna show you specifically what you can do with this because right now, think about it. If you can come up with content that solves the problems of your audience, they will then pay attention to you. They will give you the most precious resource they have, time. Giving you their time to watch what you’re doing, study it. I’ve done that myself looking at the University of YouTube, some wonderful YouTube creators that are out there that have really helped me, showing me new tools, something to look at.

Terry Brock [00:01:21]:
Others have shown me a lot when they weren’t quite so good. Okay? That’s good. We learned, and I’m not always so good. I mean, come on. Content creator to content creator, it’s all like this. So sometimes we do well, sometimes we don’t, but there are certain principles you can follow that can help you. Right now, we’re at a time where the tools are available better than ever to get your message out quickly and easily and to save a lot of time. Matter of fact, I was reading an article, article, the other day in the New York Post.

Terry Brock [00:01:47]:
I wanna share this with you. So here we are in this article in the Wall Street or not, excuse me, at the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post. And you see it says, meet the content creators harnessing AI and how they use it to make thousands per month. Think about that. People making thousands per month by creating content. This is something that you can do. You’re gonna be able to do this after you learn certain tools. I wanna give you some principles on that right now.

Terry Brock [00:02:11]:
It’s gonna help you here. Often, we’re overwhelmed with so many tools. Oh, how am I gonna get these? I’ve got all these tools and I I know like me. If you’re like me, I get out there and I think, oh, I gotta get this tool and that one and that one. They’re nerding me. What’s that? I’m like, yes, I wanna get this tool. But, no, Terry. You need to learn.

Terry Brock [00:02:29]:
Here’s a trick I found that really can help has helped me. Maybe this will help you. Find a tool that you need to know and use. Like, for instance, ChatGPT. It’s kind of a given. Most everyone today that’s a content creator has a knowledge of and does some use with ChatGPT. GPT. They keep giving us more and more goodies packed into it all the time.

Terry Brock [00:02:48]:
I love that tool. Their deep research capability came out with recently, the ability to, find out what’s going on with their deep seeking and the reasoning power that it has. It’s amazing. I don’t have time to go into all of the details in that. We can do that in another video. Let me know in the comments if you would like to. Wherever you’re getting this video, we’ve been sending out many different places. We repurpose it.

Terry Brock [00:03:11]:
Hey. I’m practicing what I preach. We repurpose this into a different areas. Let me know what you think and, if what you would like to know about in the coming video. But we chat GPT and, of course, my buddy, Perplexity. We use Perplexity a lot because it gives us access to all those different tools at the paid program level. They do just a marvelous job. Also love Grok, g r o k.

Terry Brock [00:03:34]:
Grok is available to give you dazzling pictures as well as get real research of what people are saying out there on x that ties in with x. Now you might say, oh, I don’t like x. Some people say that. Others say they like it. That’s good. I wanna hear what both sides are saying. That’s one thing that Grok is really devoted to. Honesty, just let it be.

Terry Brock [00:03:54]:
Whatever’s out there, let’s hear both sides whether I like like it or not, I wanna hear that. And also with drawing pictures, Grok is one of the best tools for that to give you realistic pictures of politicians, famous people, and different kinds of images that you want. It’s not perfect. I haven’t found one yet. Midjourney or Groc or NALI or Stable Diffusion, they’re all very good and do certain activities in ways I just go, oh my. This is nice. But I find that Grok gives a little bit of an edge right now, and they are gearing up for doing even more of that. So these are some good tools.

Terry Brock [00:04:31]:
But what you wanna do is get a couple get a good tool that you can use. Get comfortable with that and then expand to another. Don’t try to learn everything about only one and only use one tool. You’re gonna inhibit yourself. What you wanna do instead is if you can get a reasonable percentage, 75, 80, maybe 90% of what it does, great. Sometimes you might use a tool and only use 10% of it, and it suits your needs. An example of that for me is my program a program, I love the pieces, called Audacity. It’s been used for decades.

Terry Brock [00:05:05]:
I’ve been using it for decades for audio editing. It’s an open source free tool, so you can take that m p three, even an m p four, and, any other kind of audio file, put it in there, and clean it up. Cut out the umms and ers, cut out some spaces that you might want, turn the volume up a little bit, turn it down a little bit. Those are the kind of things I’m using it for, and it does a whole lot more than that, but I don’t know all that stuff. I’m not an audio engineer. So what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna use what I can. I use maybe 10%, maybe 15% of it, and I love the product. Love it.

Terry Brock [00:05:42]:
And those that are developing it and I’m working with it, thank you very much for doing that. So what you wanna do is be able to use that and then see how you can start putting these together. I wanna share with you that article from the New York Post that I saw and I thought was kinda handy here. Talks about how they content creators are harnessing AI and how they make it and use it to make thousands a month. Hey, that’s a pretty good thing. We call that really nice back when I went to business school, and when you can do that and I noticed they put some things together talking about the video that’s here. You can see here, for example, here’s the real picture, there’s the AI picture. You can blow that up a little bit more.

Terry Brock [00:06:17]:
You can see it it shows you the, reality and where we are today with this. It’s got some nice features to it. I like what they said here, different pictures of people where this person here, she could take her picture, her a video of her, feed it in there, and then take the other content that she has and make that work in beautiful ways so that now she’s multiplying her efforts. Are there concerns about safety on that? Oh, you betcha. Because somebody could take your image, your voice, the way you look, and we look at it and go, oh, is that really Bob? Bob say well, I can’t believe Bob said those words, saying words that Bob would never do, my hypothetical Bob here. We can put that in there. But what we can see is it gives you the ability to do a lot more when you have it under control. You’re able to say, alright.

Terry Brock [00:07:05]:
I want this book translated into a video with me talking, giving a message to the audience, telling them what I want them to know. That’s nice for that. We can tell right now that it’s not quite real. K. We’re at that level. But as we like to say in AI, right now, it’s the worst it will ever be, meaning it’s always getting better. Look at where we were a year ago and quite different than where we are now. Think about when we’d be okay.

Terry Brock [00:07:31]:
Let’s say, long term, really long term from now, like six months from now. It’s gonna be even better. So stay with those products, work with them, and get to know a few that you can really use and can start with and get a lot of good done. And let’s continue on with this article here. I think they had some good points here. I wanna share some of the features with you and put it in there. And, of course, the required wonderful, lovely looking young lady. Picture here with Mark Cuban who’s working with these guys doing some good things.

Terry Brock [00:07:58]:
But I think that there’s a lot of good in what they’re doing with this, how they’re using it, and they’re getting some really good principles. Over here, they talk about a person who’s involved with it. His name is Par. Par uses free and subscription based services like ChatGPT, MidJourney, CapCut, all good products, and, all he has to do is a quality check and cleanup of each step along the way. I can’t rely on all these AI tools 100%, one thousand %, but that’s only have a starting point. I like the way he says that. Parr, who has made more than 750,000 subscribers, has that many right now on his personal YouTube account, says it saves me a lot of time. A video that would take six hours to make before using AI now takes about an hour with it, and it also saves him on hiring freelancers.

Terry Brock [00:08:49]:
In the past, he’d invest around $300 per video between script writers, video editors, and voice actors. Now those roles are all automated. So when you get down to it, you think our world is changing that fast, and you can do it. Now you’ll wanna devote the brainpower to learn how to do this. Something that Gina and I do here at Star Crayving Entrepreneurs, we’re regularly doing that. Matter of fact, just yesterday, we had our regular weekly meeting showing some new tools that were there and people were loving it. Getting a chance to see how they can implement this, how they can start using it right away. We’re looking at some new AI tools for content creators, and they, it’s always wonderful to see our community.

Terry Brock [00:09:31]:
We often say people come for the content that we have, but they stay for the community as they get to know each other. And people realize, oh, you could help me with that? Hey, could how much would you charge to help me learn that thing? People are getting business that way. Other times people go, you can do that kind of presentation? I’ve got a client that could use your services on that. They make the connection, and it’s really a great way to do business with others. So you wanna be in a community like that. If Star Craving Entrepreneurs is right for you, we’d love to have you on board. If there’s something else that works for you, that’s also very good. Well, I wanna tell you a little bit more about some of the other tools that I’m using as a content creator that can help you.

Terry Brock [00:10:08]:
One of these tools is called Gamma at gamma. App. It’s a great little tool that creates amazing, brilliant presentations for you for PowerPoint presentation, keynote presentations, also ebooks, also websites, all of this. It’s pretty amazing. Matter of fact, I put in a few ideas just for this. It took me about maybe sixty to a hundred twenty seconds to tell it some of the tools that I wanted to talk about and for this so that I can show it to you. Now it’s not perfect, but it’s pretty dadgum close. I wanna show you what it does.

Terry Brock [00:10:39]:
Here it is, and I’m using a combination here. This is, key AI creator to AI creator talking to you. I’m using this right here on Keynote, and I’m also using Ecamm for what I’m doing. So I can take my picture, and with Ecamm, it lets me get pick it up like this and move it around over here, different places. I kinda like that. And then I also have Keynote that is being viewed over there on another window, So I can see with the title of this one, AI powered content creation, building business through digital relationships. That’s what we’re doing here. And it’s got a nice slide there that starts out.

Terry Brock [00:11:14]:
And then what I can do is watch this. As I go through this, it gives me the slide, the created picture that it did because I told it I wanted pictures of diverse audiences, business people helping and learning. And it gave me several of these that now I can use legally, not infringing on anyone else’s copyright. Now one thing that I wish that it did that it doesn’t do, you notice how when I came in here let me come back here. I’m just showing you. I mean, this is the the way this thing works. Here we were on this page, and then I come in here and immediately it shows you one, two, and three, trust and engagement, relationships, and marketing foundation. All of that real good.

Terry Brock [00:11:53]:
What I want though is for a build. I want that to build in because what happens? It comes in so fast. And while I’m talking about trust and engagement, and I’m saying, okay, here, 82% trust creators, etcetera, etcetera. Well, that’s good. But while I’m saying those words, I’m talking at one speed. Your brain is operating much faster at another speed. And so you’re reading number two and number three while I’m doing it. Well, here’s how we handle that.

Terry Brock [00:12:22]:
What I do is I go into, Keynote, and Keynote gives me the ability to change this so that I have a build. I click on all the titles and then tell it I wanna build. So bring in this one first, then that one, and then this one right here, the text underneath that, I bring that in. That’s a simple thing to do, real important for psychological control. I wish we could do that in gamma. That would be nice. It’s AI. And so, hey, folks at Gamma, if you’re watching this, we love, love, love your product.

Terry Brock [00:12:51]:
Give us a the ability to do a build. Similar to what we have in PowerPoint and in Keynote over on the Mac and how that works because it’s really good the way that it puts it together, but I wanna be able to do that. But it shows me what I want to do, and I did this all in about sixty to one hundred twenty seconds. Yeah. That is nice. I love, love, love this tool. And you see it goes on to the next page here. Again, a professional picture that I can use, AI developed.

Terry Brock [00:13:21]:
It works, and it shows me, okay, here’s some features that are there. By the way, it says chat GPT. And then you notice it says, taja ai. The tool actually is taja, t a j a, dot a I. And it’s a great tool. And I’m not putting down there at all. I’m just saying that would be nice to kinda tweak and fix that or give us a way to to do it. I was saying, Taja, when I gave the voice instructions, and it might have come in there.

Terry Brock [00:13:47]:
So in fairness, it might have been better if I had typed that in. Also, Castmagic, tool that I love, love, love and use a lot. And I put and also Descript. So you see, what I’m doing now is I’m able to go through this, able to look at each of the different slides that it created for me real quickly, real fast. You see how those of you make presentations, how this could help you. Yes. It all comes in at once, but with a little bit of a work on with a build, we can make it work pretty nicely. Here’s one shows me visual visual presentation tools like Keynote, like Canva, Beautiful AI, Gamma.

Terry Brock [00:14:23]:
App, all of these real good. And again, this gives me the ability to make it interesting because what I can do is I have the slide on there, then I come back here and make some comments. Your brain is going, uh-oh. Hey. There was a change in scenery. Something’s going on here. I hear from people way smarter than me, psychologists and, neuroscientists and others. They say this is because our brain goes back to the Serengeti.

Terry Brock [00:14:45]:
We go, woah, woah, there’s hustle over there in that bush. Could that be a saber tooth tiger that’s trying to eat me for lunch? And I gotta be aware of that. And so when we see something change, we get it. So what you wanna do is be able to have the tools and system so so you can go back and forth. Matter of fact, notice what I’m doing right here? I’m on the keynote slide here, then I press a button and it sends me back to Ecamm over here with a full screen. I’m in Ecamm all the time, but I’m right here like that. So this gives you the ability to control what you’re gonna do, how you’re gonna make it happen, and to do the right things. So I would say, look at something like gamma.

Terry Brock [00:15:19]:
It has some real good capabilities for you and something that you wanna look into. Because all of this is about using that technology to build relationships, to build relationships that are mutually beneficial, how you can give them information that solves their problems. They get to know you. After seeing you or hearing you a lot, I found that out when I was working in radio. I was on Family Life Radio up in Michigan, when I was a kid, 17, 18 years old. They were wonderful people. I just love them to pieces. And they trained this little kid who was making some mistakes at the time to get better.

Terry Brock [00:15:53]:
But I remember people would come into the studio to see us and they go, you’re Terry Brock? Wow. We envisioned you a lot different than that. But they loved it. They had heard me over and over saying that we’ve reached about, a million or so, a couple million people, I think. And, I was the only 17 year old kid out there doing this, but people got a chance to know you. That’s what you can do now with social media. People can watch your video. Hey.

Terry Brock [00:16:17]:
You got your own television station. They can listen to your podcast. Hey. You got your radio station. Okay. That’s, really nice. You have a TV station, radio station, and, of course, blogging. You’ve got your own newspaper or magazine.

Terry Brock [00:16:30]:
So we’ve got all of that. And our means right here with a whole lot better quality than we had when I was doing this, back in the seventies. Yeah. That was when I was doing this thing. So it was a whole different ballgame and now we can do it and it’s exciting to see it, but you gotta be good. You need to practice with it. One of the tools that I would recommend looking into is Cast Magic. Cast Magic, I’m gonna briefly mention to you here, is a tool that I use extensively for repurposing.

Terry Brock [00:16:58]:
I am able to take the audio and video that I have, an m p four file or an m p three, upload it to Cast Magic, and then it grabs that. And within just a few seconds, usually, on a ten to twenty minute video, it’s ready to go in less than five minutes. Really nice. Now it takes that and it goes even beyond that. It gives me suggested titles. It gives me some summaries. It gives me a LinkedIn post if I want it. It gives me a Twitter x feed that I can have there, a thread that you can put in there.

Terry Brock [00:17:30]:
I also put in a special chat, instruction to say put give me a Spanish summary. A lot of people listening to this speak Spanish, and those of you that are, gracias. I appreciate you watching this, being there with me. I’m working on my Spanish. I got a long way to go, but I’m loving it. It’s a fabulous language to learn. But you can get that in cast magic very easily. This is a tool that I highly recommend you look into.

Terry Brock [00:17:55]:
And, hey, if you’re interested in it and you decide to get it, I’d appreciate if you could use my affiliate link. I get a few coins that way, and you get some extra training because I’m designing training where I’m gonna have those who have purchased using my affiliate link to come over and get some extra, here’s how you get started. Or here’s that gnarly question answered for you when you get it. So Cast Magic is a tool I recommend strongly look into it to build those solid relationships. And another tool that I wanna share with you, really important, that one Taja, t a j a dot a I. Taja gives you the ability to do some amazing features when you’re working with tools in different ways. You’ve seen what we can do here with gamma. Gamma is great for taking putting it all together.

Terry Brock [00:18:39]:
When you use Taja, you’re able to kinda start at the beginning of it when you’re gonna work with it. You’re gonna be able to see how this works and what it does for you in some really significant ways. So here I am in Taja now, and you see that I’ve gone in there and I’m looking at Optimize Now. It gives me the ability to do that. And what you can do is you can bring your files in from a different, variety from, your own desktop, bring it from your device that you’re on. You can bring it into Google Docs and several other options that are there available. And here, I’m gonna get really intimate with you here showing you the actual videos we have done and put them there. Then you’ve been watching the channel, you’ll recognize these thumbnails in there.

Terry Brock [00:19:14]:
And the really beautiful thing about this is what it does I’m gonna show you right now not all the intimate details of training on Taja. This is not designed as a Taja training session. We can do some of those later. Let me know what you think. We’d be happy to do that. But I’m gonna show you some of the things that can be done with this. What I’m gonna do is I’m clicking on this and let’s go into that channel. Here we are.

Terry Brock [00:19:35]:
We just went in there. Notice what it did. Kaja came out here and it gave me a whole lot of good stuff there. Look at this. It gives me a description and I can yeah. I’ll make this a little bit bigger for you so you can see it. It gives the description so I can read that. It gives me time stamps as well as here’s some hashtags that are there as well as tags that I can use for keywords.

Terry Brock [00:19:57]:
That’s real handy. Then it gives me suggested titles for this particular one. See, number one was 100%, they say this is a good one, content repurposing secrets every entrepreneur must know. Usually, I find what I do is I’ll take what they’ve said and I’ll Terry ize it. I want to you put Terry into it. I think you need to you ize whatever you’re doing. So I’ll put that in there. I’ll use that.

Terry Brock [00:20:20]:
It does a good job with it, like this. And also, you see it’ll give me these tools over here that I can use to look at it. And then what I can do with this as well is it gives me the ability to generate a new thumbnail. Look at this. Even though I’ve got one created, it will generate a thumbnail for me. And I think this is pretty nice when you can do that with Tasha. Cast Magic doesn’t do that yet anyway. But Cast Magic does a number of other things that Tasha doesn’t do.

Terry Brock [00:20:48]:
So I find using both really helps me. And then here’s our description. We can see this on here that it gives me the tools that I want. Now what I would recommend is when you get your description, do not just copy and paste. Instead, copy, paste, and then customize. Give it your flavor, your feeling, what you wanna do with it, and how you want to make sure that this is thing is doing exactly what’s right for you in your way. Timestamps on here are very good and more tags that are available, etcetera. It gives me, of course, the transcript.

Terry Brock [00:21:19]:
There it is, the whole thing. And we put it on there. That looks really good. And then look at this. It generated a bunch of different thumbnails for me. Now these thumbnails, I think, are okay. I wouldn’t say they’re great, but I think they’re getting better all the time. And I love, love, love what the folks at Taja are doing.

Terry Brock [00:21:38]:
Thank you, folks at Taja. Really appreciate what you’re doing there. And you’ll see it gives us two different kinds. One, where it takes images of me that are in there, but then there’s the other one. Let me blow this up a little bit here. So you can see, okay, it took AI characters and created them. And you can see this one definitely is not a human being, but it’s just a, pictures that it puts together that I think are really, really good. Here’s one that’s really nice, a good professional looking, thumbnail that I could use, and it lets me put that together.

Terry Brock [00:22:08]:
By having several of these, June and I will work on here, it gives a lot of capabilities and tools that you can use. Other things that it will do is it will give you the ability to create short clips. So it might be not necessarily a YouTube short or TikTok, but it’s something that might be two minutes and thirty seven seconds or it might be five minutes twenty two seconds. You know, something like that where it’s not not necessarily a short on YouTube, but it’s a clip that you can put in there for five minutes thirty seven seconds, which people will watch and go, I like what she’s saying there. She’s done a good job of that. Where where is that? Oh, here’s the link to go and I can watch the full video now. Taja is a tool I highly recommend looking into, see what it can do for you. And I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about some of the research you wanna do.

Terry Brock [00:22:57]:
This where you get started. I’ve been talking about gamma, great for the presentation. That’s kind of the end product. Keynote for delivering it toward the end, and then Castmagic and Taja, great tools in the end. But to get started right, now it’s better than ever, and you wanna use some of the tools. I use ChatGPT and Perplexity. I find they both give us the ability to tap into some of those really nice tools for deep reasoning and for deep thinking to go in there and do some deep research. Deep research and then the thinking model, reasoning that it has are really good.

Terry Brock [00:23:31]:
Why is that? Sometimes you can get more information when you’re going really in-depth on something. When you want to find out controversies about a given topic within industries, or maybe it could be a global issue or something that’s real hot. Here’s the issue. There’s people on this side that believe this very strongly. There’s people on the other side that believe this very strongly. I wanna hear both sides. I wanna hear what they’re saying over here, over there, those that agree with me, and those who disagree with me. That way, when I stand up as a professional speaker delivering a presentation, I can say, well, we know here in the widget industry, you’ve got an issue with those oolie wags.

Terry Brock [00:24:09]:
And they’re going, oh, he knows about the Ooliwog issue? Yeah. Yeah. It’s a b work with me on this. Okay? The Ooliwog. Yeah. And there’s others that say, yes. We like Ooliwogs. And others, we don’t like Ooliwogs.

Terry Brock [00:24:20]:
And those say, this is gonna kill our industry. Others say, if we don’t do it, it’s gonna kill our industry and I wanna know about those issues of what they’re talking about. And when you’re using perplexity, when you’re using chat GPT, you can find out a lot about that with the deep reasoning, the deep thinking. So those are tools we talk about in other forms. Stark raving entrepreneurs, we talk about it a lot, showing what you can do and giving some examples. People love that when we go into it. But you wanna take a look at those and let me know in the chat in the messages below where you can leave the descriptions. Let me or your comments.

Terry Brock [00:24:55]:
Let me know if you would be interested in that. If you are, then we can look at doing a future video for you that would help you get those solved. Hey. You get it right here and we’ll pay for the cost of it on YouTube for you. How’s that? Yeah. You’ll have those. They’re great little tools, and I recommend taking a look at them. So we’ve covered a lot of ground here.

Terry Brock [00:25:13]:
I know there’s a lot there and it can seem a little bit overwhelming, but I’m gonna reiterate something very important. If you miss everything else in the video, remember this, don’t worry about trying to get every tool out there. When a new tool comes out, don’t feel like I sometimes do that. I got I just gotta get that new one. Oh, it’s really good. You jump in there and get it. Well, okay. Sometimes you wanna do that.

Terry Brock [00:25:33]:
Sometimes you don’t wanna wait too long, but you gotta use judgment. Is this something that’s in line with who you are, what you do? For instance, when I saw CAST Magic, and I looked at that and I thought, oh, this is out. It was over on AppSumo, which I love, love, love. AppSumo is, over there doing a great job. And I saw that was available. I thought, okay, this is good, and they had the different levels, and I thought, wait a minute, Terry, stop everything. This is offered right now for a lifetime. They don’t have this all the time.

Terry Brock [00:25:59]:
This is available right now. Is this right for me? What do I plan to do in the future? For me, where I was, the tools I’m using, the kind of work I’m doing, the kind of market I’m in, Cast Magic is ideal. Now that might not be true of everyone. Everyone might not be able to say that, but you gotta decide what is right for you and then use a business decision. Here’s the key. You’re gonna put in some money. Don’t let your decisions be based on just the price that it’s going to be. In business, when I went to business school, they told us it’s important to look at the return on investment.

Terry Brock [00:26:32]:
For instance, if I said, here’s something that’ll cost you $10. You think, okay. Hey, that’s nothing. I can do it. Yeah. Sometimes you can, but also, you do enough of those, you can waste $10 all the time. Anyone here know about subscriptions that you have that you’re not using? Yeah. Okay.

Terry Brock [00:26:46]:
So that’s one way. So the cost is one thing. But if I said, okay, I got something here for you. Gonna cost you a million dollars. 1 million dollars upfront, you gotta pay to get into this deal. Are you in or out? And so you’d have to look at that and have your criteria ready to go. The answer isn’t a yes or a no based on $1,000,000. I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty significant.

Terry Brock [00:27:08]:
For, for me, that’s a lot of money. For others, might not be as much. You think of someone like Mark Cuban or Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk, Bill Gates, people like that who are billionaires, a million dollars, not a big deal. Okay. You and I gotta look at. But if I found you ways and you saw the evidence that I had done that with 3,234 people before they put in a million and they got back 10,000,000, 15 million, 20 million, then you got some good evidence that it might be for you. Not necessarily, but you gotta have your criteria put in place. What is it that I’m gonna do? Who am I serving? What market am I addressing? What problems am I solving right now? What specific problems? What skills do I have? What skills do I not have? Like, for me, I am not a surgeon.

Terry Brock [00:27:57]:
I do I’m not a medical doctor. I don’t make any medical recommendations at all. Am I interested in it? Oh, you bet. I do research on that, but I go to my medical doctor, real certified medical doctor to get information and help for me. I also use chat GPT to get ideas and then take that over here to my doctor to get the ideas. Did you like my little jump there? Yeah. But we’ll take it over there, put it in like that, and get a chance to give it to the doctor to get the information. So what you wanna do is make your decisions based on business and based on who you are and where you’re going.

Terry Brock [00:28:31]:
Well, we’ve covered a lot of ground on this. I really appreciate you staying here with me. And if you haven’t already, please like and subscribe to this because that’ll help us a lot. You know how those algorithms are. Come on. If you watch these things, you know that. If you’re catching it on podcast, please leave a good review for us if you would. And if you’re not watching it, but, yeah, you could be watching it on there.

Terry Brock [00:28:49]:
YouTube is now the biggest podcaster out there. We got over a billion people with that. That’s a lot of a lot of folks. 1,000,000,000 people watching YouTube podcasts, so you wanna be there. But wherever you’re catching it, I wanna hear from you. You got a question or a complaint? Please let me know. I’m Terry Bronk, and we’ve got some goodies for you here. Before you say goodbye, don’t don’t leave right away.

Terry Brock [00:29:10]:

How do you deal with all the rush and “busy-ness” of AI?

Every day it seems there is a new release of something bigger and better than ever.

It can be overwhelming.

It can even be a tad on the scary side!

Many are asking me, “How can I keep up with it all?”

I get it.

It can be overwhelming with new tools like Deep Research (three tools with that name released recently), o3-mini, the o3 mini-high, then “Reasoning With R1” and “Reasoning With o3-mini.”

Frankly, it is making my lil’ ole’ noggin hurt!

But on the other hand, we can’t just “crawl into a hole and hide.”

(Although there are times when such seclusion from the wackiness of the world can be tempting — but that’s another story!)

As with so many things in life, the answer is well-balanced somewhere in a middle place that is just right for you.

Focus on your goals and how you can solve the problems your audience is experiencing.

Once again, we find we solve our problems as we learn how to solve the problems others are experiencing.

As long as the approach is peaceful, that is fine. Something about “Live And Let Live!”

There are some serious advantages for you and me to use the Deep Research AI tool that is available now.

(I like the flavor of it with Perplexity.)

“Serious advantages?” you might ask.

Yep! You betcha!

Like most of the rest of the world, I’m just now seeing what can be done with this PhD-level research tool.

You get lots of very accurate and helpful citations that would be permissible for a PhD dissertation.

That alone is pretty dad-gum (technical term) incredible!

This can be very helpful when you’re preparing a presentation for a group of professionals.

Deep Research gives you a wealth of information to help you better understand your audience’s world, their pain points, and potential solutions.

Deep Research can also help you be equipped to know what is really going on in the world and be ahead of the competition.

Just yesterday, I shared some of what can be done with Deep Research with our Stark Raving Entrepreneurs community.

Like me, many were blown away by the capabilities it has, how easy it is to use, and the fact that it is available with Perplexity.

Here’s what I got when I queried Perplexity about it:

“Perplexity’s Deep Research capability is available in both free and paid tiers. While the core feature can be accessed without payment, free users are limited to 5 queries per day. For heavier usage, the $20/month Perplexity Pro plan provides up to 500 Deep Research queries monthly, making it the primary paid option for expanded access.”

I’d recommend taking a peek at it to see what it can do for you and your content creation.

I’m planning a more in-depth video on the Deep Research tool and how content creators like you and me can tap into it.

If you have any questions you’d like to be included in that upcoming video, please whack that “Reply” button and let me know.

If you’d like to move to the higher level of Perplexity and tap into this and many other business-building features, I’d be delighted if you would use my affiliate code. You’ll get $10 off your first month and I’ll get a $10 credit toward a month of Perplexity.

So, what do you think of these new AI tools coming out? Are they overwhelming? Are you getting serious business benefits from using them? I’d love to hear from you.

Whack that “Reply” button and let me know whatcha’ think.

Thank you for joining me today on this wonderful adventure in AI and using it to build business on solid Relationship Marketing principles.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

To Your Success!

And here’s the full text in English:

Terry Brock [00:00:00]:
As a content creator, you know that is one of the best ways to build relationships with people and get them to know who you are, the product you have, etcetera. And repurposing is a real key to getting ahead. What does that mean? Well, that means you’re gonna take a content, you gotta say it’s a video or something, and you’re going to take segments of that and use it in different ways to get more business for you. This is what we’re gonna talk about. You’re gonna love this one because some new technologies have come out. I wanna share these with you. Hi. I’m Terry Brock, and I talk about how you can use this many different ways and how you’re gonna be able to get the advantage of using AI in some big ways.

Terry Brock [00:00:34]:
Matter of fact, it’s called the strategic imperative. That’s an important word there. Imperative content repurposing in digital marketing. In an era of content saturation, and boy, don’t we have a lot of that today, repurposing emerges as a critical lever for amplifying your reach, optimizing resource, and sustaining audience engagement. All of that, real important. So I’m gonna show you specifically how you can do that and what can be done with it in some big, big ways. There’s a lot that’s available with it, and we’re gonna see that you can do this to grow your business in a specific way, making sure that you’re getting the kind of information that you need and making sure that you’re gonna be able to get the connection, really connecting with people and building those relationships as you want them to. So let’s get started by taking a look at how you can maximize your return on content investment.

Terry Brock [00:01:25]:
One of the ways to do that is asset multi plexing. Now I think what in the world is that? What does that mean? Well, it’s a fancy term for repurposing. What that means is you’re now gonna start using things different ways. You’re transforming a single webinar. Say if you had a webinar that was really good and had some information in there, there, you can put it into multiple formats, and they can achieve 412% greater content utilization. Those are the numbers by the evidence, and we’ve seen that coming in from some good research. When you can take that webinar that where you said that really choice thing, that thing was good, or your special guest, she was just dynamite when she brought out that content about saying this and that. That’s what you wanna focus on.

Terry Brock [00:02:04]:
Make sure that you are doing this in the right way. And here’s one that is really handy, evergreen content. Write that down. You wanna make sure you get content that can be used over and over again and has a long lifestyle. Now I can’t do that as well because for me, I’m speaking about AI, talking about those things that are available right now that we can use, and they’ll be old. We talk about and joke about AI, the latest thing that came out this morning. How old is that? Yeah. It’s whatever happened this afternoon.

Terry Brock [00:02:35]:
Well, we only say that with slightly tongue in cheek because things are moving very rapidly. But what you wanna do is be able to focus as much as you can on building evergreen content that solves problems that your audience says, hey. We need to get this thing taken care of. But you see, with evergreen content, you’re gonna be able to have strategic updates to statistics and examples. This yields 73% longer shelf life for core educational materials. It’s really good for that. And, also, platform specific adaptations. And what do we mean by that? Well, it means you’re gonna take video to blog conversions.

Terry Brock [00:03:09]:
They’re gonna see on that 28% higher dwell times when enhanced with interactive elements. So in other words, ways that people can work with it. You take a video, put it on your blog, and you have ways that people can click here or they can get a download for this. They can see a particular episode that you have or they can see something that you look at and go, hey. That’s pretty good stuff. I like it. Constantly focus on how you can do that and that will really maximize your return on what you’re doing on your content in a big way. And for LinkedIn, here is one powerful tool for those of us who are appealing business to business, the b to b.

Terry Brock [00:03:49]:
We can use this by looking at, say, LinkedIn preferences. Did you know that 62% of LinkedIn users prefer long form professional content? This is a different environment. That means what you’re doing is you’ve gotta tailor your message to the market that you’re appealing to. What works over on TikTok is not necessarily gonna work in LinkedIn or on Instagram or on another platform. You need to make sure that it’s tailored and customized even just slight bit for that particular market. Doing the same thing over and over is not a good way to win people and get them coming back because they’re gonna think, well, I saw it there. They’re gonna wanna see a different angle, maybe something just a little bit extra. And when you’re talking about LinkedIn, yeah, that’s where people really want a new business.

Terry Brock [00:04:40]:
They’re thinking about business, and they want to be able to find out about you and how you’re gonna solve their problems. And that opens up a lot of opportunities for speakers, professional speakers like me. I do a lot of professional speaking, going out speaking for clients at conferences and conventions on AI and how they can use AI for relationship marketing, building that and helping out. If we can help you out on that, let us know in the chat below, or you can let us know some other way, terry@terrybrock.com. Love to help you on that. But there are a lot of opportunities now for those of us who do that. What you wanna do is you wanna repurpose your legacy material. What do I mean by that? Well, you know that article you wrote? Oh, let’s say it was a few years ago, and it did really well, and the material is still good.

Terry Brock [00:05:27]:
You can go back to that material, get that content, and redo it by writing a little bit extra, updating it. We just finished one of our stark raving entrepreneurial programs tonight and got a chance to talk with people who had put together content from years ago, and it is still valid today. The points they made about principles of running a business and hiring people and treating them right still apply today. So they could do that. However, one thing they could do is it was there was a mention of audio cassette tapes. Remember those? And if you don’t, Google that or per spec perplexity that one and find out what it is. There are audio tapes. But what we can do is say, you know, that’s what we used back then.

Terry Brock [00:06:08]:
But today, of course, we’re using m p threes, and we’re using other forms of audio. We’re using 11 labs. We’re using other tools for audio, etcetera. You can repurpose your material. And when you repurpose it, then people are gonna say, hey, this is good. It’s applicable now. It’s good for what we did back then and now. Also, select your best work from earlier times, and then you wanna update and amplify it.

Terry Brock [00:06:34]:
Update it, saying, okay. We used this before. Things have changed a little bit. Here’s how we do it now, and then amplify it onto other platforms that are appropriate for your audience. Not just anywhere, but places where your audience is saying hanging out and looking for help. You wanna comment on those changes and what hasn’t changed. To say, okay. This change right now, and we see that that had some major ramifications.

Terry Brock [00:07:00]:
But this part here, it remains the same. We’ve got the same thing going on now as we did back then, and now you can use this in some powerful ways. And don’t let your best go to waste. The best content that you have, find ways you can nudge it. You can retweet it. You can if we’re gonna be tweeting using x now or using some other tools that are out there, this is where it’s really gonna come in handy. And also your modality effect in education, many of us are using educational content, kinda like I’m doing here, giving you some information that you can use. You take it back, apply that, put it into practice, and then you’re going to be able to generate more business yourself in that.

Terry Brock [00:07:40]:
It’ll give you a lot of capabilities. One of those will be knowledge retention. For instance, it increases by 38% compared to single medium approaches. So when you put it in different areas, people learn more that way. 38% more is what their reference is telling us. And by the way, how did I get that number? You might be wondering, where did we get that? Well, that came from doing some deep research. Yes. Content creator to content creator, can can we just talk here, just us? This is really important.

Terry Brock [00:08:11]:
You wanna put information out there, and there’s a way to do it now with deep research. Now we have that as I’m doing this recording on three different platforms. We’ve got it on Google with their Gemini. We’ve got it on ChatGPT, and we’ve got it here on perplexity. I’m using perplexity a little bit more myself. Find that it works when I’m at the professional plan, better paid plan of $20 a month. Well worth it in my mind. And it gives you the ability to tap into that, to find those numbers, to really look at the information there.

Terry Brock [00:08:42]:
So that way, when you’re updating and repurposing, you’ve got a way to get extra information there. If you got a question on that, let us know. And if you’re using that, give us a like on this one. Let us know about that and leave a comment how you’re using it and how it’s helping you. Or Or if you got questions on it, we’d love to hear from you on that to help you. Another way is with accessibility. Right now, you can expand your neurodiverse learners, helping them to expand their learning through captioning and text alternatives. You might be like I am.

Terry Brock [00:09:14]:
I know I am, and you wanna make sure that what you’re doing is learning in a different way. I find when I can hear something and I can read the text, I follow along a lot better. That comes in real handy also when you’re watching videos with someone that might have a little accent different than what I’m used to. I was born in America and speak a Native American slang accent kind of thing. When I hear someone even from England, sometimes I’m like, what are they saying? What is that? Or Australia or some it’s like we got we got two separate countries there and two different languages. They speak British over there. We speak American here. So a little bit different over there.

Terry Brock [00:09:51]:
But by having the text on the screen, that helps us to learn a lot more and learn it even better. And then the third way is, of course, as we know, twenty four seven consumption. This enables round the clock access across many different time zones. So while you’re sleeping, people can listen to what you have to say and buy from you if you have your website set up accordingly. This is golden. Take advantage of the opportunities. Now here’s some of my favorite patterns for content creation. You might be able to use this, and if this can help you, by all means, take take it down.

Terry Brock [00:10:25]:
First of all, idea gathering. I wanna do some research. That’s where deep search can come in, a deep research so that I can go in there, really do that well. I’m using perplexity for it. Works really well, and we’re seeing really good results also with my buddies over there at ChatGPT. Good stuff. There’s some other tools that are coming out. I love what Grok is doing.

Terry Brock [00:10:46]:
That’s g r o k. Grok has given us some really good information on seeking this as well. So you wanna do this for your research, for observations, and, of course, the University of YouTube. I like to go to YouTube and get some great videos there. Seeing what’s available. If you’re watching this on YouTube, let us know. We’d love to hear from you. Just give us a a like down there below.

Terry Brock [00:11:07]:
And if you’re watching, just say, hey. We’re listening to this, Terry, and looking forward to, hearing from you. Also, get your give yourself a rough outline. Just kinda put down this is kind of what I wanna do. I wanna put that together and make it happen. And then start with the assets that you’re gonna need. I do this when I’m using my video. What am I gonna I’m gonna need an asset.

Terry Brock [00:11:28]:
You know, a good graphic would look really nice right here, or this might be better if I did it this way. So I’m constantly looking at how I can change that and what we can do to make it even better and more appealing. I like the idea of going with video first, then you repurpose it. Start with your video, then you say, okay. Let’s pull that. One of the ways we can do it that I like to do, pull the audio out of it and put that over on Libsyn, which is where I have my video going out, and make sure they’re getting that information over there. And I love, love, love these two packages, Cast Magic and Taja, t a j a, for repurposing. They both give me the ability to get the, yes, the transcript.

Terry Brock [00:12:12]:
Yes. I get the sound of it, but I also get customized reprints of what’s going on. They’re giving me keywords, giving me an outline, time stamps, all of that there, plus keywords that I can use with hashtags over on Taja. Really good tools. One of the things I really like about Taja, I’ve talked about here before, is when you can use that to create clips. It creates clips for you. You can then schedule those on a calendar that’s put into Taja, and it works really nicely. I talk about this on another video.

Terry Brock [00:12:47]:
Stay tuned to the end of this. I’ll show you how you can watch that video also. You’re gonna really love it. Vista Social is another tool that I’m using for distribution so that it takes the information, sends that out at a given time and date. There are many tools that do a real good job of that. Find one that works for you that will help you a lot. And then you want a lot of analysis and review. This is where it really comes in.

Terry Brock [00:13:12]:
What you gotta do is you gotta say, okay, it’s not just a matter of creating the videos. It’s a matter of checking and finding out, okay, what worked on this one, what didn’t work on this one. What can I do to change it, turn it around a little bit, and make it even better? That’s gonna be a real key of how we’re gonna get ahead and be able to do it. Not everybody likes to do that. I sometimes don’t when that numbers aren’t as good as I’d like them to be, but this is what we have to do. So between you and me, yeah, we gotta study those analytics and take a look at it. And lots, notice all caps there, lots of use of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, and others too. There’s some really good tools out there that we’re seeing, like, Gemini who is coming out from Google.

Terry Brock [00:13:56]:
They’re doing a good job of that. I like Copilot from Microsoft. Got some nice things there. And, an Anthropic has Claude, which is really good, and it was number one for a while, still damn good. It’s just that every week things tend to go back and forth, up and down, but all of those are really good. I find what you wanna do is not use just one, but have couple two or three in your hip pocket that you feel comfortable using. So when you get answers that might look a little bit funny, a little bit wonky, what you can do is you say, let me check the other one too. So you compare different LLMs, the large language models, with others that are out there.

Terry Brock [00:14:35]:
And then for a content cascade model, first of all, start with a premium report when you can. When you are allowed to do that, when you’re able to do it, and by allowed, I mean your numbers and you say, yeah, let’s put something out there, launch it with gated access. So that way, people can pay something for it. By people paying something, they feel more involved. It moves it to a whole different level than just when it’s free content. Paid content, very good. And then a blog series. I have my blog over at terrybrock.com.

Terry Brock [00:15:06]:
We talk about all kinds of things. You might wanna join me over there sometime to see some of the print information particularly, but we also put the videos like these over at terrybrock.com, so you’ll see that as well. And repurpose your key findings on that. Social media visuals are real good. Hey, the research is showing people like those graphs. They like to see what’s there. So it can distill the statistics and make it much easier to use and to make more sense of it as well. Podcast interviews, love those things.

Terry Brock [00:15:37]:
You can get a lot more intimate with someone, finding out a deep subject, what they really think, and go in-depth much more. Matter of fact, we’re seeing right now what’s happening is mainstream media is having some challenges because people are saying, hey, I want much more in-depth than just a two minute report with people yelling at each other. That is not a real good way to learn. An in-depth hour, two, three hours, or whatever it takes interview in audio, no holds barred, is really a great way to learn what’s going on. This is where we can start getting ahead by being able to do those interviews and making sure that we’re doing it. Matter of fact, people often like to listen to convert case studies. You can listen to how someone applied some principles and was able to solve a problem. That’s really important.

Terry Brock [00:16:25]:
Oh, and here’s something you can do in your market. Think about producing an annual trend report. What is happening in your industry? What is happening in this place where you live and you know the terms, you know the people, you know what happened last year and the year before that? Someone else coming into the market might not know that, but those who are in the market will value the reports that you can give. And then you recompile the user feedback. Find out what people are saying. Get the user feedback from that and make it happen. And this is important. If you forget everything else on this video, remember this, you want evergreen first as your strategy.

Terry Brock [00:17:03]:
The evergreen is something that’s gonna be around for a long time. Prioritize that. That’s difficult for me to do because, hey, the kind of work I’m doing right here, I’m telling you about AI. And anyone that’s in the field of AI knows it’s changing a lot, very rapidly. Meaning that what I’m putting out right now, a month from now or a year from now will be considered old hat. It is kinda tough to do that. So what I’m looking at is doing this as well as some other evergreen principles that can stay in there a little bit longer. I would encourage you to think about how that could work for you, and let me know what you’re doing.

Terry Brock [00:17:37]:
Love to hear from you on that of how you’re working with it. You wanna focus on content with sustained relevance. Something that means it’s gonna be good now. It’s gonna be good probably twenty or thirty years from now. A lot of people in our stark raving entrepreneurs program are creating content like that. It’s still good today after a long time. And then update. Update what is there.

Terry Brock [00:17:59]:
For instance, you can go back and refresh statistics or examples biannually. Have a report. Hey. This is what’s going on in our industry now. January and June are good times to do that. Or December, here’s what happened in the year. Here’s what’s going on. Here’s what we’re predicting for next year.

Terry Brock [00:18:14]:
January is a good one to say, okay. Here’s what we see. New year now. We’re past the holidays. This is coming. Or June is a good time because we round the corner from June into July. Here in The United States, we have our fourth of July weekend. That’s a wonderful time to say, okay.

Terry Brock [00:18:30]:
First half of the year is now over. What happened? What was good? This was notable. This was a big event, etcetera. This was a disappointment, etcetera. What can we expect the second half of the year? Putting that together can be real handy. And then repurpose the daylights out of that material you’ve got. Adapt high performing evergreen content. If something’s working here, take it and twist it just a little bit.

Terry Brock [00:18:54]:
Take your content that you wrote that’s working, amplify it in certain ways. Maybe make a nicer video of it, or maybe redo some of it. That could be real good where you’re telling a little bit more information on it and can be real handy with that. Then analyze it. And this is the toughest part because sometimes you don’t wanna see it. I know I don’t. But we need to do it. We need to sit down and say, okay, let’s see what happens.

Terry Brock [00:19:17]:
How are we gonna make this work? You wanna track your performance over time. This is where the analytics are extraordinarily important. And here’s the good news. This research shows that evergreen pieces yield 318% more repurposing value than time bound content. Make sure you do some evergreen first as you’re creating your content. Find something that will last, whatever it might be, something that’s gonna be good. And then go through your audience journey mapping, the kind of things that they’re looking for. Like top of funnel, you wanna give them infographics, short videos, and more.

Terry Brock [00:19:56]:
Also, you’ll wanna work there in the middle of the funnel, giving them information on webinars, case studies, and posts. Notice how that increases their level of involvement. And then third, bottom of the funnel, get people involved, more direct engagement and connection with real people. Have people talking to you. As they get into that bottom of the funnel where they’re really narrowing down, you know, it starts this way and then it’s a funnel that comes down to a smaller group of people. They will have access to you, and they will get the information that you need. And that leads us to the AI human collaboration model. This part is extraordinarily important.

Terry Brock [00:20:34]:
You wanna use those AI tools. Absolutely. But make sure you’ve got human oversight on it. And watch for your efficiency gain, tracking all this. Let me tell you a little bit more about that. With AI tools, tools like chat g p t is great for ideation, coming up with ideas, what’s hot right now. I love Cast Magic. It’s a great tool that gives me the ability to create certain clips with their captions.

Terry Brock [00:20:59]:
I can highlight from this part down to that part, just highlighting in the transcript, pull that out, and make it a separate clip that goes out there and like a little soldier that’s making money for me out there on the field. I like it. Working really well. And Taja does a similar thing. It goes out and finds clips within the video that you put in there that the AI is saying, this is what others are looking for. It gives it to you so that you can post that also through their scheduling. Really good tools. And we got some links in the link down below in the description if you’re catching this on YouTube so you can find out about it.

Terry Brock [00:21:34]:
Or if you got a question, well, drop me a note. You see how to reach me in many different ways, terry@terrybrock.com. Ask me a question, I’ll be happy to help you on that. And you wanna maintain a strategic direction and creative input. Always yes. Notice that’s in all caps. Always, you wanna make sure that you have human beings in charge. The machines are our servants.

Terry Brock [00:21:58]:
That’s what we gotta do. And have efficiency gains with faster production cycles, with consistent quality. Put in your reps. You’ve gotta do that. One of the most important things to get ahead, it is vital that you put in the reps. Whatever it is, get better and better at what you’re doing. That means you’re gonna make a lot of mistakes. Hey.

Terry Brock [00:22:21]:
Sorry. It works that way here on planet Earth. You’re gonna make mistakes. You’re gonna go, oh, wish I would have done it this way. Wish I would have done that differently. Put in those reps and learn from them. My buddy, Harvey McKay, says it really well. People will say, practice makes perfect.

Terry Brock [00:22:36]:
Not true. Perfect practice makes perfect. If you keep doing something and practicing over and over the wrong way, you’re not gonna get better. You need to get better and perfect it. Use tools to help you learn what to do. Use AI to help monitor you, make sure you’re getting better. Hire a coach. Part with your capital.

Terry Brock [00:22:56]:
Get people to help you. It’s something that we do regularly. Gina Carr, my partner and I, we do this regularly helping you. If we can help you in some areas on how to work with AI, how to market yourself better, we’d be delighted to help you on that and let us know what we can do. There’s a lot of good and you don’t wanna cut yourself short. Put in that. Now, also, there’s some things you wanna avoid. Prohibited practices, well, that’s gonna include some things that are gonna be really important like platform agnostic duplication.

Terry Brock [00:23:24]:
You wanna make sure that you have something that’s gonna be a little bit different each time. Something needs to be different when you’re putting in for this platform versus that. Again, putting the same video on TikTok that you would put on LinkedIn seldom will work. You want something a little bit different on YouTube than it’s gonna be over on Facebook. Have them just a little bit different with something else. And then have a non transformative recycling. When you’re doing this, that’s gonna be real important all the way around. For instance, with the platform agnostic, it decreases engagement by 47% through audience fatigue.

Terry Brock [00:24:01]:
If they’ve seen it over here, they’re not gonna wanna see it over here if it’s exactly the same. And you can be penalized by platforms like YouTube for lack of original commentary. So you wanna watch out for that. And your CEO cannibalization, this is a third point here. Make sure that you have something different. Identical keywords see 62% lower rankings than semantically optimized variance. So you want something that’s just a little bit different. It’s gonna help you to stand out in a different way on different platforms.

Terry Brock [00:24:37]:
And here’s one most important, the human element in content repurposing. Make sure that you have strategic oversight, that humans are providing the crucial direction in content strategy. Do not let AI take over. You do it by using AI. It’s a great tool, a great servant, but you wanna be able to have the strategic oversight. And the creative adaptation, with human creativity, it ensures unique and engaging repurposed content. And then ethical considerations there. These are important, very important.

Terry Brock [00:25:13]:
Human judgment will navigate complex ethical landscapes in content reuse. So make sure that you’re doing what is ethical, and this is where it’s good to have peers looking at it. You have a in science and a PhD level, they often have what they call peer review. People that are your peers are also really smart in this area, and they’re taking a look at what you’re doing. Find the peers that you can work with, the people you can talk to that’ll give you an honest answer. Are you doing okay on this or not? And let them work with you. Also, you wanna look at content repurposing workflow and how you’re gonna handle that. This is gonna be a content audit.

Terry Brock [00:25:51]:
Find out, okay, what high performing pieces are suitable for repurposing? If something’s already doing well, then you wanna talk about it elsewhere and make sure it’s doing more. Then your format selection, you wanna choose the appropriate new formats based on your audience preferences. Find out what they’re liking. Where are they reacting favorably, and what do they like and not liking? Then for content adaptation, you wanna modify your content to suit new format requirements. Make sure that as the new format emerges, that you adapt it accordingly. Don’t just always keep the same thing cookie cutter over and over. And then have a good quality check. Ensure that repurposed content meets quality standards.

Terry Brock [00:26:37]:
Gotta look over it. I’ve gone over for instance, on this presentation I’m doing here, I’ve gone over it many times already looking at it. And every time I go over it, I can see something else. I go, oh, I wanna tweak that a little bit. Oh, I need to tweak that a little bit. And you might see some as well. But also that’s the other thing, don’t wait until it’s perfect because it never will be. Instead, when it looks good, get it out there and be done with it.

Terry Brock [00:27:00]:
That’s gonna be important. And then with your distribution, make sure that you share repurposed content across relevant channels. Make sure that these are changing and they’re out there working and flowing smoothly. So content repurposing tools you’ll wanna use, some that I recommend. Well, first of all, Canva. Canva is great because, hey, I’m not a graphics person, but Canva takes care of me. They give what’s called templates. Excuse me.

Terry Brock [00:27:29]:
And I think that is one of the best. It gives you the ability to take something that already looks good, and instead of that picture, pull it out, put yours in there. And instead of these words and that really nice font, you put in your own words. Canva does it well. Also, Cast Magic, I’ve mentioned before, great little tool. And again, we’ve got our affiliate link for this and other tools. If you buy that through me, I get a little bit of a commission on that, and I’ll make sure that you get, let me know that you did that, and we’ll give you some information, some resources to help get you started and give you some inside ideas on it. Same thing with Tasha.

Terry Brock [00:28:05]:
Tasha is a great little tool that helps you to repurpose your content and get a lot of good out of that. As well as Gamma, which is a tool I’m using for this. It gives you the ability to create a presentation like a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. I use Keynote over on the Mac, and that’s what I’m using right now. Hey, content creator to content creator. I took this and put it into my Mac Keynote, and it’s working very well. But Gamma created it just like that. Really handy.

Terry Brock [00:28:37]:
And I’d recommend you take a look at that. Oh, and by the way, the other tool I’m using, Ecamm. Ecamm is giving me the ability to keep my picture over here so I can move it around like so and be able to work with it. Here, I’m just showing you barely this my bare baring my soul to you. This is how we do it, content creator to content creator. And then also, have your content atomization strategy. What do you mean by that? Well, atomization allows for efficient creation of multiple content pieces from a single source. So you start with your core content.

Terry Brock [00:29:08]:
You create a comprehensive piece. That’s the first one. Then you break it down into smaller segments that can be repurposed in other areas. And then you adjust, adapt, and adapt to, modify for the different platforms. So whatever you’re doing, you make sure that it’s gonna fit appropriately into that other platform for you in a very good way. This is how we do it and what we can be done with it. Then you start distributing it where you share it across the different channels, and here’s that word again, analyze it. Measure your performance, find out what you did right, and what we need to improve for the next time.

Terry Brock [00:29:49]:
And then for content repurposing, for lead generation, this can really help a whole lot. Look at your blog post for an informative article on an industry topic. Also, a webinar is still a great way to create a lot of content with you and or a guest or multiple guests. Have in-depth discussion with an expert panel is another good way to get a lot of great content. Creating an ebook that you could give away or that you could sell with comprehensive guide with actionable tips. See, that’s a key thing. People like to see something that is gonna give them the steps. Here’s what you do and how you do it, kinda like we’re doing here on this one that I’m doing today.

Terry Brock [00:30:31]:
I wanna make sure that you’ve got at least enough there. You can go, okay. That’s good. This one’s not for me. That was not for oh, but this one might be good. And please let us know in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you if you find something that is particularly good. So with ebooks, these are good.

Terry Brock [00:30:46]:
They give you the ability to do a lot with it. And you can have an email course. You can have a course where people are going through email or through some other form of connection with a series of lessons that are delivered via email. These are real handy. So repurposing content for various formats is a great way to capture leads at different stages of the buyer’s journey. This will be important. What you wanna do is also repurpose it for different learning styles. Different people learn in different ways.

Terry Brock [00:31:18]:
Some are visual learners. That tends to be me predominantly. Infographics, videos, information rich content. Yeah. Well, I like that. But also, there’s a side of me that likes audio, particularly when I’m doing something else. So I’m multitasking. I’m driving in the car, maybe we’re taking a trip from here up to Atlanta.

Terry Brock [00:31:35]:
June and I might head up there. It’s good to listen to some audio. Or if I’m just knocking around getting some work done, say doing clothes, you know, folding clothes or something like that, That’s a nice thing to do to listen to audio with podcasts, audiobooks, and webinars. And also kinesthetic. Some people learn best by feeling, getting involved with it. You want interactive quizzes, workshops, and simulations simulations. These are all really important. And then your user generated content, repurposing is gonna be really important.

Terry Brock [00:32:07]:
You want customer reviews. Look at that and transform into testimonial videos or quote graphics. Use that so people can say, oh, yeah. Someone saw it, and they really liked it. Your social media mentions, well, you wanna use that as well. Compile into case studies or success stories. What people did, how they liked it, and how they were able to use it themselves, and how others can. And then your q and a sessions.

Terry Brock [00:32:36]:
You wanna use this so that you repurpose, say, as an FAQ. People have asked that question, have a frequently asked questions thing that posts, and it shows the knowledge base articles. These are something you can build on top of to achieve a lot of good. So you see, we’re talking about repurposing in many, many different ways that can help you. And repurposing for different devices, well, remember, people are watching this and consuming it in different ways, from a desktop, from a tablet, or a mobile. You wanna make sure that it’s customized for each of those, and that’s something that we do. We look at what can work on a desktop. Most of the people we find are watching ours on desktop or on a laptop computer.

Terry Brock [00:33:18]:
Many, however, watching it on a device like a phone or a tablet. So it’s gonna be a little bit different, but we wanna make sure that it’s something that people can use in some profound ways and be able to see it and be able to use it in a lot of ways that help them. And then you want to have your content repurposing challenge, maintaining consistency. Think about how you’re gonna do that. Ensure that your brand voice remains consistent across different formats. Also, avoid redundancy. Make sure you create unique value in each repurposed piece. Don’t just do the same thing over and over again.

Terry Brock [00:33:57]:
And for your resource allocation, balance your time and effort between creating new and repurposing your existing content. It’s a constant checking, constant from trying to find out, okay, what does the market want now? What they what worked before might be a good indication that you could use it again, but don’t hold on to what worked in the past because it might not work in the future. And treat your platform constraints with care so that what you do is you’re saying, okay, we’re gonna adapt the content to meet the specific platform requirements and the limitations that are in that particular area where it is. And then you wanna have the best practices for evergreen content repurposing. Make sure that you’re following those and what they are. Some of those will include a lot of different areas where you have regular updates, keeping statistics and examples current or maintaining relevance. You also wanna look at your modular design. That means your structured content, so easily repurposable segments are there.

Terry Brock [00:34:58]:
And timeless topics, something that is gonna be able to be chained over and over many different times. You want something that people will say, okay. I like this. They’re still using that format. And focus on subjects with long term interest and value, something that you do now and it’s still good long into the future as you move there. And your adaptable formats, make sure that you create content that can be easily transformed across the whole media that you’re using. Whatever it is, it works in a different way. So in conclusion on this, a lot of things are available for you in the future of content sustainability.

Terry Brock [00:35:37]:
This is something that you really wanna do. First of all, treat it as a strategic imperative. That means your content repurposing is crucial, important word, crucial for sustainable digital marketing success. Make sure that what you’re doing is gonna help you to reach out. Have efficiency and reach. Repurposing continues your resource excuse me. It optimizes your resources while expanding your audience engagement. That’s a good winning combination there.

Terry Brock [00:36:09]:
You’re getting better resources, and your audience engagement is right up there where it needs to be. And you have continuous innovation. Embrace emerging technologies while while you’re maintaining your human creativity and your oversight. So, yes, we use the AI, but we also make sure that we’re tapping into what needs to be done. And adaptable, well, we talk about that a lot here at Star Craving Entrepreneurs. Stay agile in a in content strategies to meet evolving audience needs and platform dynamics. They’re constantly changing, so you wanna adapt and change accordingly. So the strategic imperative of content repurposing and digital marketing means, yeah, it’s a big deal thing.

Terry Brock [00:36:54]:
And what you wanna do is you wanna be able to repurpose, stay on top of what’s going on, and be able to adapt and change as you see the market changing. And so what I would say in closing, you wanna make sure that you’re constantly up to date using the tools, practicing with them, and working to learn more. These tools can help you to repurpose, get a lot more done, and take the effort that you did and squeeze more juice from that lemon. Yep. That’s what you’ll be able to do.
