This two-day intensive will be held from March 27-28 at the Embassy Suites at the Denver Tech Center North at 7525 East Hampden Avenue, Denver CO, 80231. Dr. Briles has organized this event to feature various activities and tips to help authors with their public speaking. From how to build a portfolio of main topics, how to structure a speech, and how to keep the audience engaged, the intensive will cover every aspect to building a successful speaking platform for various authors. There will also be sessions focused on the pitfalls and blunders of public speaking and how to avoid them, along with how to bounce back from an unsuccessful speaking engagement.
The event will also dive into the business side of speaking, from negotiating contracts to setting fees to structuring a presentation. Every participant with be "hot-seated" to work on part of their presentation.
