The
National Association of Baby Boomer Women (
NABBW), the only association devoted to addressing issues concerning the 38-million strong Boomer woman demographic, announces the launch of a new blog,
The Voices of Baby Boomer Women.
According to NABBW founder and director, Dotsie Bregel, Baby Boomer women have reinvented the meaning of midlife, retirements, healthy bodies and minds, spiritual commitments, and other facets of their lives. "Boomer women are true pioneers." said Bregel. "They are the everyday woman, the entrepreneurs, the corporate lawyer, or the stay-at-home mom/grandmother. Baby Boomer women represent all of these things and more. We're really excited about our new endeavor,
The Voices of Baby Boomer Women, which will give women a chance to be heard, to showcase their stories in a collected voice, or solo."
Bregel continues with, "We'll invite women to fill out our questionnaires, take surveys so that the world will know what they really want, or to just speak out on a topic that is near and dear to their hearts. Another exciting part of this blog will be featuring women who make a difference. In other words, this blog isn't just about the
NABBW or the
BoomerWomenSpeak.com organizations. It is for all women—women on a mission, or not; women with goals, dreams, and women who are content to 'just be.'
In addition to everything mentioned,
The Voices of Baby Boomer Women is designed to educate and support women in midlife who are thinking about starting, or who have already started, a new business venture, who may be in need of midlife coaching, or for ones who would like to know the latest on health, relationships, eldercare, the good old days, and of course, fun. The blog will also address many other unique issues and concerns of Baby Boomer women.
By providing Baby Boomer women with a means to stay informed, plus a foundation to bring their voice to the world, Bregel believes
The Voices of Baby Boomer Women will empower women and encourage them to continue with their passions and purposes as they go through midlife and beyond.
