The AI revolution isn’t coming—it’s already here, and entrepreneurs who aren’t paying attention are about to be left behind.

Trend analysis shows us that “AI Agent” is the top buzzword phrase according to Heepsy, an end-to-end creator management platform that tracks what is popular in the media. (Check out more of their great info at https://www.heepsy.com/ ) 

Yes, AI Agents are strong and getting stronger. Many fear that these bots will hurt people. The bots are trained on tasks that people are doing but bots can do the job faster, cheaper, and usually better.

The fear is that the bots, the AI Agents, will take jobs away from people.

Will they?

Probably.

Probably many jobs being done by people now will be done by AI Agents soon.

Did tractors take jobs away from farmers? You don’t see many farmers hitching up mules or oxen today to plough the fields.

Is that a bad thing?

Most reasonable people think it is good that farmers get more done today, produce more food per acre — and have more safety.

Tractors — machines — took jobs away from people – and the oxen.

And this makes life better for farmers who get more done with tractors than they did with oxen.

And it is better for the oxen, I heard! ?

This is how things work on planet Earth. Throughout our history, we have constantly worked and gone through hardship in order to make things better and easier for us now and for the future.

Does that mean there are some painful temporary displacements at times?

Absolutely!

Welcome to planet Earth. It works that way here.

Does that mean we don’t have compassion for those who lose jobs? I still painfully remember getting the notice from my boss when I was working my way through undergrad school at Goodyear Tire and Rubber company.

Conditions got worse economically and Goodyear, my employer, needed to lay off a lot of people. Since I was one of the lowest ranked employees ranked by seniority, I was laid off.

That was tough for me as a kid working his way through college and paying for it on his own.

However, it forced meto be more creative and to scramble, looking for other forms of employment, to work my way through undergrad school.

Today, I see the future is very bright when we look at the power of AI agents.

Most people would agree that it is better to send robots than people into dangerous mines or where the conditions are unsafe for human begs. 

Robots can fly into areas that are in dangerous hurricanes to better track weather conditions and understand what’s going on. Humans can read that data and make decisions that save lives and property.

Machines make life better for human beings.

Carefully trained robots will be able to do tasks that are endangering and have killed human beings in the past.

And yes, some people will lose their jobs and we feel for them.

I think we need to look at results and realize that the entrepreneurial spirit gives us the strength and power to overcome any obstacle and make life better ultimately for the majority of people.

Life is even better for those oxen who used to plow our fields. ?

Here are three steps that I recommend for you and me to deal with AI agents that are increasingly becoming more powerful.

#1 – Study And Understand What Is Really Happening

Know what is going on and don’t stick your head in the sand. Don’t believe highly biased news stories of “doom and gloom” that are designed to get higher ratings over telling the truth.

Remember bad news sells more than good news.

#2 – Analyze How You Can Learn New Skills And Take Advantage Of Trends

Every time there’s change it creates new opportunities. Entrepreneurs study this and understand how their market will be affected and take steps to learn new skills and adapt accordingly.

I like to say that the United States Marines help us to learn to improvise, adapt, and overcome.

This is something we need to do continually.

#3 – Don’t Try To Do It On Your Own

Find others who are going through similar situations and learn new skills, for new, mutually beneficial, relationships. Find new opportunities rather than screaming about the doom and gloom.

Get involved with programs and groups that can help you.

Yep! There are many challenges and many people will lose the jobs that they currently have just like farmers lost jobs in plowing fields with oxen years ago.

Study, what is the new “tractor” that will take away the “oxen driven plowing” of each era.
