On Saturday, July 14th, the Plymouth Public Library (PPL) will host the Homesteaders of New England Farm Day on the front lawn. This is an event designed for everyone - of all ages.
As part of the library's "Not So Secret Gardens Summer Reading Program", local farmers will come together to sell and discuss their craft, including but not limited to honey, pies, preserves, sauces, seasonings, fibers, soaps, lotion, bath oils, wood workings, metal workings, jewelry, and homemade treats for pets.
Face painting, a petting zoo, and pony rides will be available for children.
The Homesteaders of New England Farm Day begins at 10 am and concludes at 3 pm. The rain date is the following Saturday, July 21st. Deatils are here:
ABOUT THE HOMESTEADERS OF NEW ENGLAND: The Homesteaders of New England is an collection of local vendors and farmers who come together to sell and present their work, creating a small market of sorts. ABOUT THE Plymouth Public Library's "NOT SO SECRET GARDENS SUMMER READING PROGRAM": The library's annual summer program is made up of weekly and monthly activities and performances for patrons of any age. Patrons can sign up to earn tickets for the library's summer prize drawing at the end of the season. Events are designated individually between children, teens, adults, and for the entire family. A calendar of events within the summer reading program and in the library as a whole is available on printed and digital versions.
