Utah Author’s Day began in the 1970 to help promote local authors. It has grown to include authors of fiction, nonfiction, horror, poetry, suspense, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, children’s and YA authors.

These events are sponsored by the Utah Humanities and The League of Utah Writers.

Utah Authors Day is held on Saturday, December 3^rd.

Author Jill Ammon Vanderwood will be appearing for Utah Author Day, at the Pioneer Book store in Provo, Utah from 10:30-1:30 along with Authors Allison Hong Merrill and Elizabeth Densley

Jill will be signing her two Christmas picture books, Santa’s Mysterious Boot, and The Year Santa Lost His List. She will also feature her newest YA Book Series: The Path You Choose with her newest book, Cheers, which was published in 2022. There will be an hourly prize drawing held at this and every other site on Saturday, December 3^rd. Come eager to learn more about Utah authors and poets. This will be an exciting day as readers and authors meet!
