As we make our way through February, there are a lot of wonderful options for things to do this weekend. Watch the Super Bowl at District E, see a piano concert at the Kennedy Center, celebrate 20 years of Strathmore’s Music Center and much more.

Happy Birthday, Strathmore Music Center!

The 20th anniversary of the Music Center is this Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Don’t miss performances in the Concert Hall by Inez Barlatier and Justin Roberts and Kattam and his Tam-Tams. Also, the whole family can enjoy a gel print-making station, giant coloring wall and other craft-making stations. More information can be found here.

Enjoy a Piano Concert at the Kennedy Center
There are limited seats available to see Nikolai Lugansky at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theatre on Sunday at 2 p.m. Lugansky has regularly appeared with orchestras all over the world and is typically celebrated for how he approaches the Rachmaninoff canon. He will be performing romantic music from Mendelssohn, Wagner’s Brunnhilde and Siegfried’s Rhine Journey. More information on tickets can be found here.

Watch the Super Bowl at District E
This Sunday may be déjà vu for Super Bowl Sunday, but it’s still a fun excuse to eat good food and drinks! District E is hosting a Super Bowl Watch Party Sunday from 5-11 p.m. There will be lots of food specials like Kansas City barbecue sliders and Philadelphia cheesesteak sliders, and $5-$6 drink options too. More information on the party can be found here.

This Saturday, there will be a book signing with author Adrianne Lind. More information on the exhibit can be found here.

Fans of “Schmigadoon!” Will Want to See This
If you loved Apple TV’s Emmy Award winning show “Schmigadoon!” you’ll want to check out the world premiere of the live musical based on the show. The show, loosely based on the musical Brigadoon, follows couple Josh and Melissa, who hail from New York, as they head to the mountains to rekindle their relationship. They end up finding themselves somehow stuck in the 1940s, in a musical town called Schmigadoon. More information on tickets can be found here.

See “Job” at Signature Theatre
Now through March 16, visit Signature Theatre for the Off-Broadway show “Job.” The story tells the tale of a young woman who has a breakdown at work that end up going viral. She must go get an evaluation from a crisis therapist and during the appointment, secrets are revealed and there is an epic doctor versus patient standoff. More information on the show can be found here.
