Award-winning Author, Dr. Kathy Gruver featured to speak at Women's Conference
Dr. Gruver will speak on stress, nutrition and how to stay healthy at the office.
Santa Barbara, CA, June 4, 2013 -- The 4th Annual RWN Women's Conference will feature acclaimed author and speaker Dr. Kathy Gruver as one of their breakout presenters. The theme for this year is professional excellence and will feature a day of amazing and educational speakers.
Gruver will be presenting on stress, mind/body techniques, healthy nutrition and ways to improve fitness, sleep and energy levels. With over 20 years of experience in natural health and alternative medicine, Dr. Gruver brings a unique combination of formal education and life experience to create an entertaining and inspiring workshop.
Much of Gruver's talk is based on her first award-winning book; The Alternative Medicine Cabinet, which is a non-fiction book that teaches readers the fundamentals of natural health. Everything from herbs and homeopathics to heart disease, nutrition and cancer are discussed and explained to encourage people to take charge of their health naturally. Gruver's book was recently turned into a national TV series, which will be airing nationally on OTV. It was also selected as a winner of the Beverly Hills Book Awards and a finalist for the IndyExcellence Awards. She has written two subsequent books on stress: Body/Mind Therapies for the Bodyworker and Conquer Your Stress with Mind/Body Techniques.
