Halloween, scouting and other frequently requested themes are the subject of 40 new free printable certificates just added to the web site FreePrintableCertificates.net.

"I have been adding to FreePrintableCertificates.net since I founded it in 2005 and there are now more than 580 certificates to choose from," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "I am so grateful to site users for letting me know what certificates they need for their family or business."

The new, exclusive designs include scouting certificates with awards and recognition for boys, girls and their parent leaders. There are certificate recognizing community service, outstanding cookie sales and water safety, as well as investiture and rededication awards. There are also several certificates honoring troop leadership and parent volunteers.

For the coming Oct. 31 holiday, there are Halloween certificates for jack-o-lantern carving and costume contests.

By popular demand, there are also now blank certificates with just a border.

Other new additions include gift certificates for retail stores and services, a certificate honoring military service, a guardian angel certificate and more.

All of the certificates are free to download and print as PDFs, easily opened with Adobe Acrobat's free Reader. They can then be written on with pen and presented. Another option is the $5 premium download, which is a .DOC file that can be customized in Microsoft Word by typing into the various fields.

Also available is a CD-ROM that offers all of the certificates on a CD-ROM for $69.

"I'm looking forward to adding even more user-requested certificates to FreePrintableCertificates.net in the coming months," Savetz said. "I'm also anticipating renewed interest in my Christmas certificates and other holiday designs.
