A printable
grocery list can save shoppers time and money as well as aid in meal-planning. The website FreePrintableGroceryList.com just added 11 new grocery list designs, making more than 45 lists to choose from.
FreePrintableGroceryList.com has checkmark-style shopping lists and meal planners for every household's needs, including
specialty grocery lists for people with allergies or special dietary needs.
"All of the grocery lists are absolutely free to download and print, so there's no reason to use a napkin or back of an envelope anymore," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator.
Besides convenient, blank grocery lists, there are "smart" grocery lists with popular items already listed and categorized. Users simply check off the items they need, or as they buy them.
Several of the newest lists are specialty lists, both for events such as birthdays and Thanksgiving as well as for people with special dietary needs or food allergies.
The newest additions to FreePrintableGroceryList.com include a diabetic foods grocery list, a gluten-free foods grocery list for people with celiac disease or other sensitivities, a healthy foods grocery list, and even a cutely illustrated shopping list for kids who like to play store. There's also a new aisle-by-aisle list to make it easy to shop by store layout, and a grocery list with a full week's
menu planner on it.
Another new list at the site is geared toward people who shop with coupons. There are lines on which to write in items needed, and whether there's a store or manufacturer's coupon (or both) for each item.
"These lists are handy, functional, and free," Savetz said. "Many people print out several copies at once to place on the fridge or inside a purse so they're always ready to go. This means fewer forgotten items and less money wasted."
All of the lists are available for free instant download in both PDF and .DOC format.
There are nearly 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
