A popular website offering free
Jewish calendars to download and print for free has added calendars for each year of 2011.
PrintableJewishCalendar.com offers many variations of free printable calendars in Gregorian and civil (2010, 2011, etc.) forms as well as Hebrew calendars, such as the year that recently started: 5771.
The
2011 Jewish calendars are available individually for each month of the year, or for the entire year in one convenient download. Users can choose from Gregorian calendars with Jewish holidays listed, a version with Jewish dates, or a version with both.
The
Hebrew calendar lists traditional dates, such as for 5771, as well as months (Kislev, Tevet, Shevat, and so on) and days of the week.
Another option at PrintableJewishCalendar.com is creating one's own custom
Jewish calendar, also a free service. The custom creator allows even more variations to be chosen.
"I first launched PrintableJewishCalendar.com in 2009, and am pleased to be able to continue offering it into 2011," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "With so many variations to choose from, these calendars are appropriate for gift-giving, homes and office settings."
The calendars print in standard letter (8 1/2-by-11-inch) size, in either PDF form or as customizable .DOC files that can be edited in Microsoft Word or another .DOC-compatible word processing program.
"The PDF versions can be simply written upon in pen, but some people prefer to type holidays, birthdays and other important dates directly onto the .DOC version," Savetz explained.
PrintableJewishCalendar.com is a companion site to the FreePrintable.net
2010 calendar site Printable2010calendar.net as well as Printable2011calendar.com, which has free
2011 calendars. Also available is RocketCalendar.com, which offers free
printable calendars for the years 1900 to 2099.
There are nearly 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
