Dr. Burton Schuler -- Morton

Dr. Burton S. Schuler,  has been a  Podiatrist, Foot Specialist for over fifty years. For decades he has written hundreds of articles, and has made dozens of videos,  about  painful problems of the feet.   He has also  been  acknowledged  both internationally and nationally,  as the leading medical expert  about the  painful condition of the foot, and of the whole body,  commonly known  as the Morton's Toe.

The reason he is the leading expert is because he is the only physician  ever to author a detailed book about the Morton's Toe.  The title of the book is  Why You Really Hurt: It All Starts In The Foot, and  was  first published in 2009,  and is now  in its  4th printing.

A  Morton's toe occurs  when   the first metatarsal    bone  of the foot  (the bone that   the big toe attaches to)  is abnormally short and or  unstable.  It has been known since 1927, when an article was published about it in the prestigious  Journal and Bone and Joint Surgery. that it is a major cause of most foot problems. In the 1950's- 1970's  it was shown to be the cause of pain throughout the whole body. The good news is that these problems can be treated with a simple $2.00 pad that Dr Schuler describes in his book.

Dr. Schuler is a 1975 graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has also written the 1982 The Agony of De-Feet, A Podiatrist's Guide to Foot Care, His articles about the foot and the Morton's' Toe  have appeared in the leading podiatric journals and publications. He has been interviewed by such varied publications as the New York Times, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and First for Women. During his fifty-year career he has appeared on hundreds of radio stations, but here and abroad,  to give his expert opinion regarding Morton's Toe and other foot problems. His medical articles have appeared in the printed edition of Collier Encyclopedia in 1992. He is available for radio interviews,  and interviews for selected podcasts.
