Marilyn Anderson is a best-selling author, speaker, and award-winning writer for film and television. She co-wrote and Executive Produced the new family comedy feature, "How to Beat a Bully". Marilyn is the recipient of a LUMINAS Award for the Positive Depiction of Women in Film & Television. She wrote a romantic comedy that aired on Lifetime TV, and has sold and optioned feature screenplays to major studios and production companies. Ms. Anderson was honored by the Writers Guild of America as a writer on the WGA's list of 101 Best Written TV Series over the past seven decades. On television, she wrote for "Murphy Brown," "FAME," "Friday the 13th – the Series," "Sherman Oaks" and other episodic TV. She was on the writing staff of "Carol & Company," starring Carol Burnett, Richard Kind, and Jeremy Piven. Anderson is the author of a humorous relationship book, published in 10 countries, "NEVER KISS A FROG: A Girl's Guide to Creatures from the Dating Swamp. She was the "Dating, Flirting & Kissing" Coach on TV's "Extreme Makeover" and was a guest on over 350 radio & television shows. Her writing has been featured in magazines and newspapers nationwide, in travel, entertainment and humor articles. She has also worked as an actress, stand-up comic, improvisational performer and speaker. Anderson described the new film release, 'How to Beat a Bully' and why it is so important: It's a 'Home Alone' type comedy with an anti-bullying theme. So many stories of bullying are distressing, upsetting or sad; we wanted to create a story that is fun and entertaining, and in a positive way share the message to help stop bullying.
