The
National Association of Baby Boomer Women (
NABBW), the only association devoted to addressing issues concerning the 38-million strong Boomer women demographic, announces its March 2009 two-part teleseminar,
?Boomer Finances ? Making sense of it all.? The first part of this teleseminar is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, at 3:00 PM (EST) with host
Jennifer Campion, Financial columnist for the
NABBW, and Financial Planning Specialist for
Smith Barney. This teleseminar will offer boomer women ways to customize their retirement planning and also tips on wealth management.
According to
NABBW founder and director, Dotsie Bregel, ?Baby Boomers are intelligent, savvy, and are very aware of the importance of financial planning. They already know that education is the key when addressing their investment and retirement concerns, and so this teleseminar is a step in the right direction to learn why and how to invest, strategies for individual retirement planning, and simply stated; how they can attain their financial goals.
Being financially healthy covers many areas of our lives, therefore; this teleseminar will address a variety of topics such as the housing market and reverse mortgages, bankruptcy, and long-term care. And as the market fluctuates, people are asking ?where? to put their money and want to know are CDs safe, and what about 401Ks? We hope to have all of these questions answered and many, many more.?
Bregel offers, ?Women have found that knowledge is the key and that is what we're offering with this teleseminar?knowledge, and the answers they'll need to live the life they've envisioned for themselves and their families. Join us as Jennifer walks boomers through the maze of their finance worlds.?
After the initial teleseminar, the NABBW is following up with a one-hour
Question and Answer session on Tuesday, March 31, at 3:00 PM, that will allow their listeners to have all of their financial questions addressed and fully explained by Jennifer. The registered callers can send their questions ahead of time via email to Dotsie Bregel at
dots@nabbw.com. All questions will be addressed.
