The
National Association of Baby Boomer Women (
NABBW), the only association devoted to addressing issues concerning the 38-million boomer women demographic, announces the addition of
Boomer Male Expert,
Jed Diamond to their list of seasoned and exceptional Baby Boomer Associates at the NABBW.
Jed Diamond, PhD, is a licensed psychotherapist and Director of the
MenAlive, a health program that helps men live long and well. He is also the author of, "
Male Menopause" and "
The Irritable Male Syndrome," and has been a consultant for business executives between the ages of 40 and 60 who want to use the mid-life passage to achieve life-long personal and professional success.
Dotsie Bregel, founder of the
National Association of Baby Boomer Women says, "While baby boomer women are continually educating themselves at midlife to optimize the health for their bodies and minds, they are also concerned about the health of their spouses and partners. They want to learn to adapt to situations where necessary, and developed good health regimes and practices for this time in their lives. Jed will help women understand the roles male menopause, irritable male syndrome, and male depression play in their spouses life. He'll provide the necessary education and vital resources available so that women can protect their relationships."
Bregel continues with, "Until I met Jed, I didn't realize that Male Menopause was even real. With Jed's background and knowledge, women can learn the difference between male menopause, a mid-life crisis, and aging. He'll provide explanations about the
Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome, causes of male depression and aggression, what women can do to cope, and sure-fire ways to get through to a man in denial. Jed will give women the choices and coping mechanisms to help them weather the male menopause storms that could possibly disrupt their lives."
The
NABBW is excited to have
Jed Diamond as an NABBW Associate. He will provide those wanting healthy and joyful relationships with their husbands, sons, fathers, brothers, friends, and lovers, that much needed resource for guidance and education on this subject. To read Jed's contributions, click
