(Palo Alto, Calif. - Aug. 6, 2009 - Boomerang.com) With new research indicating that email marketing campaigns are linking back to Twitter more than any other social media site, the logic of turning to email marketing providers who offer social media tools is intuitive, said email marketing expert David Kearney. Twitter is the most linked to social media outlet in email marketing campaigns, revealed research from Email Data Source. Officially surpassing Facebook in March 2009, the total number to date of inbound links to Twitter from email campaigns was 41,399, just under 350 more than those going to Facebook.
