Yes, you really can have a guarantee on your membership.
My guarantee goes like this:
“Hey, if you sign up for the membership and decide that it’s not right for you, that it’s not a good fit, then let me know and I’ll refund your investment within the first 30 days.”
I’m not going to refund their investment if they signed up six months ago and finally decided they don’t like the membership and they want their money back for the entire six months.
No. I’ll give a refund within the first 30 days.
If somebody says to me, “I want to cancel my membership this month,” and they were charged for the first time yesterday, I’ll refund them. After all, they were only charged yesterday.
You make those judgment calls in the best interests of your member.
Another guarantee idea:
“We drink our own Kool-Aid. We want to give you every opportunity to put the sales system into action and experience the joy you feel when you wake up each morning to find new leads opting into your list. So instead of a traditional 30-day guarantee, you have two full months to go through the program and follow the plan. Use the bonuses and get your system up and running. If after a full 60 days, if you’ve done all the work but still have nothing to show for it, you’re entitled to your money back.”
Price doesn’t always make the difference for people to take action. There are other ways you can entice them to join your membership.
