Georgetown Main Street kicked off the holiday season at its second annual Book Hill Tree Lighting Tuesday evening. Carols were led by GMS Executive Director Rachel Shank and Events and Administrative Specialist Shelby Davis. ANC Commissioner Gwen Lohse briefly spoke.

As Shank mentioned in our story in our Monday, December 2 newsletter, “The holiday season is marked by joy and friendship, and we are glad to bring those sentiments to the community with this event.”
