There is a chill in the air this month. Unless you're in Antarctica, though, it's probably not too bad yet. Antarctica was formed as a scientific preserve in December of 1959. Winter Solstice, the official beginning of winter, starts on the 21st of this month. Besides the cold, December is also a time of magical holidays. Hanukkah begins on the 20th, and of course, Christmas is the 25th. Hibernate with your family for the holidays by choosing some great indoor activities that keep you warm in spite of the winter's chill.
