James Lowe, KJAG radio host out of Salina, Kansas who highlights all types of bands, recently interviewed Nate Shoemaker, one of four brothers who comprise the popular LA band the Shoemaker Brothers, and he praised their music while delving into the nature of the band, their musical genre, lyrical style and more. During one segment Lowe quizzed Nate about why people should buy their latest album, Reflections, and told him ?it is great music, but sell it My Man!? This informative segment, see first Radio Show Video below, cycles through their creative process and how each band member plays multiple instruments, such as violin, viola, bass(mini cello), guitar, piano, drums, and writes their own original songs. James Lowe is well known for conducting informative and entertaning interviews and loves to interview bands.

The Midwest DJ will continue to promote the Shoemaker Brothers on his radio show and push the latest news about the band through a number of his social networks. James Lowe intends on having more of the band members on his various shows in the weeks and months ahead. Nate Shoemaker proved a terrific radio guest with a solid media presence and ability to bring the history of the band and operational details into a words-eye view of the rather complex interworkings of the Shoemaker Brothers.

Nate Shoemaker talks about Shoemaker Brothers latest album, Reflections, and the nature of the band on James Lowe's syndicated radio show.

During the interview segments yet to be turned into videos the subjects discussed were the Shoemaker?s style of writing lyrics, a typical Shoemaker Brothers? concert experience and the story behind the song 5 am Birdcall, written by Sam Shoemaker. On their latest album, Reflections, each brother contributed three songs and those tunes, after their initial introduction, are then put through a kind of evolutionary Shoemaker band evolution that usually improves the tune. During concerts the boys switch instruments and duties for every song, with each one singing their own original songs as the other pick their respective instruments.

Loyal fans and musicians love the band and their gigs are well attended throughout Southern California. The Brothers draw large crowds at all the major venues and are booked and re-booked constantly. They have played Whiskey A Go Go, The Roxy, Canyon Club, World Fest, Camarillo Festival, Oak's Music Nights. They have also opened for major acts like Little Feet, Loggins and Messina, Los Lobos, Canned Heat, all this in one short year. For an unknown band just arrived in Los Angeles this kind of progress in such a short time is phenomenal.
