Riga, Latvia has been designated the  European Capitol of Culture for 2014.
 

Riga, Latvia has been designated the  European Capitol of Culture for 2014. Join  H.E. Andris Razans, Mrs. Gunta Razane and the leadership of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) for a launch reception honoring the artists Aleksejs Naumovs and Kristaps Zarins of the Art Academy of Latvia.



These celebrated artists will share their philosophy of painting urban landscapes around the world including  major institutions such as the White House and the US Capitol. Their remarks will be followed by the unveiling and presentation of their recently completed portrait of the RRB/ITC. This original art work will  become part of the permanent collection of the World Trade Center, Washington DC located in the RRB/ITC.
