MORRISTOWN, NJ (Expansionary News Service) July 30, 2016. At the recent World Future Society conference held in DC, futurist Michael G. Zey, Ph.D. predicted that soon  people will be able to boost their intelligence and memory with the help of new pharmaceutical and technological processes.

In fact, says Zey, students, artists and Wall Street traders and fund managers are already availing themselves of such products to gain a performance edge..

Dr. Zey, author of Ageless Nation (Transaction Books, 2014) and The Future Factor (McGraw-Hill), described the growing evidence that academics, scientists, executives and fighter pilots already are using drugs like Provigil and Adderall to boost their intelligence, concentration, alertness, and memory.

From his Morristown, NJ offices, Dr. Zey stated that "Electronic technologies such as transcranial magnetic stimulation have been shown to improve subjects' intelligence and memory."  Thync, Inc. and Halo Neuro now market to the public wearable devices that employ electronic impulses that can change your mood and boost your alertness. Someday, Zey claims,  we will physically reengineer the brain to increase its functionality.

In his many media appearances and live events, Dr. Zey has predicted that intelligence enhancement  technologies will be accepted and used by many people but  vehemently opposed by others for a variety of ideological and political reasons.

"Eventually," Dr. Zey states, "everybody will seek an intellectual edge to enhance their performance in school and at work."
