A student of lifetime learning, Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing and Computer Science from Western Illinois University with subsequent professional development in Strategic Coach®, the Executive Leadership Development Programs of Abbott Laboratories and Cardinal Health and the Leadership Coachella Valley program.

Specializing in quickly determining an opportunity or challenge, identifying solutions and providing practical advice that can translate into measurable results, Kathleen thrives under the challenge of planning and managing demanding projects and assignments. Her bottom-line approach hallmarks her marketing initiatives and innovative solutions.

Kathleen is an alumna of Western Illinois University, past member of the Advisory Council for the College of Business and Technology and has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumna. She is an accredited associate and Fellow of The Institute for Independent Business. She served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the La Quinta California Chamber of Commerce for 7+ years where she wrote a monthly column for the GEM community and member publication. With a passion for giving back, Kathleen has served on the American Heart Association and Arthritis Foundation - Coachella Valley Division's Advisory Boards. She has been a judge for the Desert Sands Unified School District's Goldfish Bowl, a competition for STEM funding and for CVEP's (Coachella Valley Economic Partnership) Fast-Pitch, a funding competition for start-ups. She is also a member of ProVisors, a nationwide network of business advisors.

Kathleen is a co-author of Being in Business Is a Funny Thing – Getting Out is Not! focused on business growth and transition for business owners and entrepreneurs.

Kathleen is a native of Chicago and lives in the Coachella Valley of Southern California. Her passion is international travel – she has visited 6 continents - and the cultures that make our world rich.
