The Association for Strategic Planning (ASP, www.strategyplus.org ) announces that its 2011 annual strategic planning conference, "Creating High Performance Organizations for the New World," will be held at the Fairmont in Dallas, Texas on February 28 – March 1, 2011. Featured keynote speakers include Colleen C. Barrett, President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines Company, and Keith Thurgood, Senior Vice President North Division for Sam's Club.

"ASP received over 70 speaker applications for just 16 breakout sessions, so we were able to select some very high quality strategic planning topics and speakers to build out the 2011 conference program. We are thrilled to have Colleen Barrett of Southwest Airlines and Keith Thurgood of Sam's Club as keynote speakers," said ASP 2011 Conference Chair and Business Development Director for Customer and Strategic Insights, JCPenney. "We also offer optional deep dive workshops and our traditional pre-conference workshop, 'Strategic Planning Bootcamp 101,' designed for those entering the profession or for existing practitioners who want a refresher course.
